The masjid is very clean and has comfortable arrangement for ablution and toilets. There is a separate entrance for ladies, although only Tarawee prayers are arranged for the ladies. The Friday azan is at 12 30 and namaz is at 1. It gets crowded on a Friday and parking may be a difficult.

Masha Allah, very nice and peaceful masjid. Located in the posh area of Bannimantap, the maintenance of the Masjid is very good. Masjid has all basic facilities. Can hold many namazies at a time, as it big in size and multi storey also. Especially the Friday prayers are offered at 1pm which very early than other Masjids, because this lot of people goes there for Friday prayers. It very convenient for travellers also as Masjid is on Mysore Bangalore Road.

Most of all the peple hear are good and not so orthodox unlike Taj Ahmed Khan who and went got his friends from masjid and not only abused the couple verbaly for siting in the the park opposite but also destroyed the park Wich is opposite it just go and see it disgusting behavior

Good Masjid Especially friday prayers occured very fast compare to other masjids, they decided to keep that time becoze they were conveniencing the opposite college students of St. Philomenas so the students does not miss the classes, as well as for other works people might prefer this place so that they can offer prayer & go on time some where.

In Mysore, many Masjids are there but Friday Jumma at different timings for people convenient that they made. Here Jumma Salah at 1pm but you should there at between 12:30pm to 12:45pm. Otherwise you can go to Al-Kauzar masjid.

A popular masjid with good facilities!

I have fond memories of my teenage years back in Mysore and Bannimantap in particular. As a young boy I used to offer my daily Namaz in this mosque, sometimes we used to bunk college classes and visit the mosque. This mosque has a very serene ambience. Every Friday seemed like a small Eid with so many people gathered to offer Juma Namaz. Certainly one of the best mosques in and around Mysore.
