One of my favorite takeout places to eat at!

Huge portions for low price. I got a platter. The pulled pork was good, chicken good, tips were fine, but I dont really care for tips. The potato salad and the mac-n-cheese very good. The 3 sauces I tried had no heat at all, whereas I thought would of had a bit. Good flavor though. Next time will try their hottest sauce to get some kick.

Lots of choices, large portions and virtually everything is great! The chicken legs and Mac n cheese are especially too notch. Cant go wrong with the barbeque either.

Just tried them for the first time today and it is AMAZING!! I got the bbq chicken dinner with the mac n cheese and potato salad. All of it is wonderful and a great price. Paid $11 for meal and still have a lot leftover

I would rate 5 stars as food and portions are great. However business often does not stay open until posted closing time. The last 2 times going there to pick up dinner, they were closed over 70 minutes before close time. It is probably best to give them a call to make sure they are open before going to pick up dinner or you may find yourself walking up to a pick up window with the shade drawn shut. For this I had to downgrade to 3 stars.

M & M Catering prepared a wonderful meal of pulled port, pulled chicken, baked beans and naturally slaw for 60. It was perfect. Everyone thought it was grand. Thank you so much M & M.

Love getting take out from this local favorite. We usually get the Big Mike sampler with pork, beef brisket, riblets and chicken for about $13 out the door. There is probably about 2lbs of smoked meat in this sampler and is usually good for two or three meals for the wife and I. Their homemade BBQ sauces are really good as well. I have had some of their desserts like German chocolate cake and it was very good as well. Im sure everything on their menu is great.

This place is a hidden gem! The food has a home cooked taste. They serve bbq through the week. They add whitefish and catfish Fri - Sunday. The fish is dredged, not battered, and delicious. They offer many sides up to one quart. The greens, fried cabbage, baked beans and potato salad are great choices. The prices are more than reasonable. The services is very friendly. They close early, 7 or 8 pm (3 or 4 pm on Sunday, so this is not a late night place. Definitely another go to place for real food.

I just love their barbeque! Their Cole Slaw and Baked Beans are 1st Rate in my book! The Pulled Pork, or any other meats they offer, can be made into a single sandwich, or you can purchase the meat(s) in an individual foil container and it comes with little hamburger buns and choice of sides. Great Bang for your Buck!

Stop to try it for the first and last time. Order the big Mike sampler and instead of brisket we got pot roast, tasteless pulled pork, something they called rib tip but they sucked. Quality control must be nonexistent there. Dont know have they got good reviews.

My favorite Knoxville BBQ establishment. This is and always has been take out only BBQ. They cook the food on site (you can see them grilling on the patio grills when you walk up), so the food is fresh and hot. The have a huge menu, great BBQ, slaw, and amazing (best anywhere I have ever eaten) Mac and Cheese. On Fridays and Saturdays they have dress catfish and they have some other unique dishes. When you want great BBQ, if you are within driving distance of M&M, you need to try them out. You wont be disappointed...

Ive been eating at this place for over 10 years, its easily one of my favorites in the West Knox area. Love their Mac & cheese and all of their BBQ sauces are great, the sweet hot is my favorite. I def recommend this place to anyone looking for good BBQ.

Prices are ridiculous there I can go home and make all that for cheaper and still have some for the rest of the week or two on ribs and brisket cheaper and pulled pork I would say more money that way and dont cost me much to cook it myself with their prices are ridiculous . !!!!! 💯💯💯💯

Great food! Great value for the money. The Boston butt is amazing. Good smoked taste. The Greens and cabbage have a that southern Kick. The Mac and cheese will be a huge hit with the kids. I will be ordering again:). I’ll eat for a week for under 40 bucks. The best part it’s good home cooked Meal.

Thats the best barbeque Ive had in a long time!😋😁 They also have fish dinners on the weekend. I got the barbeque the first time I went and was hooked ever since! The second time I went over the weekend and got the catfish dinner with green beans, fried cabbage, fried okra, and Mac and cheese. 😋 Everything was delicious and Ill definitely be back again. Oh they also have the best tea ( tropical fruit sweet tea ) 😃. Great customer service and excellent food always makes me feel good! 😁

Best BBQ Ive eaten. There are few I havent tried because there are sooo many BBQ places. I think its better than Calhouns, Dead End, Buddys, or Sweet Ps. They have good variety of sides and desserts. Fridays are fish day, also very good. Check out M&M on Middlebrook near Cedar Bluff.

I love this place! M&M have the best BBQ Ive ever tasted. Their sauce is awesome. It is a sweet BBQ sauce, but I prefer the mild not the hot. I highly recommend everyone who loves BBQ to give M&M a try. You wont regret it. The girl at the window was very nice as well!

Is this place open or is it closed?Ive been here a couple of times in August & September and thats the last time Ive seen them open. They always have a come back sign and when I come back to no avail. I literally only come here for the key lime pie. Honestly, the food isnt that good. TN definitely has better BBQ options.

I had the ribs and pulled pork. The ribs still had the tips on them, very rare for ribs places around Knoxville. I had a half a rack and had 8 huge ribs. They were tender and tasty. Try the hot-sweet BBQ sauce, not too hot, just tangy enough to add to the ribs. The pulled pork was good, but the ribs are want you want o get. So many good items on the menu. Perhaps chicken the next time or if there on a Friday, the fish

It had been a long time since I had eaten here so I decided yesterday to stop and pick me something up for dinner. I am so glad I did. If you have never stopped and tried this place please do so ! I promise you wont regret it. The pulled pork is amazing and so were the sides. Everything was cooked to perfection! And I believe they have a great friendly customer service attitude as well!! Make it a point to stop and pick up some BBQ tonight!!

Quick and friendly service. Didnt realize their menu is as big as it is. Definitely have a lot more options than just BBQ. Not that its necessary, their BBQ meats, sauces, and traditional country sides are delicious! Mixing their baked beans and potato salad together is one of my favorites.

I love the collard greens and fried cabbage side dishes. They are worth the 20 minute drive from work for me. I had the pulled pork today with a medium (in spiciness) sauce. Delicious. It is very good and very fresh.

This place is amazing. My husband got the brisket dinner and I decided on the FIVE chicken leg dinner for 7.95. Im already incredibly pleased at this point because I love chicken legs and this dinner is offered. He brings the food home faster than I expect and it is absolutely delicious. The chicken legs were fall off the bone tender. I got potato salad and baked beans that matched my idea for the perfect versions of both sides. I felt like I was eating food from a family reunion bbq and it was the best. My husband enjoyed his Brisket with baked beans and coleslaw. Both dinners came with two sides, two pieces of soft sliced white bread, and bbq sauce. We will be going back more often and I look forward to trying their ribs, catfish, other sides, and desserts.

I ordered a regular pulled pork sandwich for lunch and was shortly disappointed i did not order the jumbo pulled pork sandwich. it was so good!i have tried almost all their sauces (i prefer the hotter ones), and love them all. my favorites are the sweet hot and hot.i have tried their ribs (cooked to perfection), brisket, chicken, and pork. all were awesome!

The food wasnt great at all!! After years of hearing it was the best BBQ, I had to try it out and was very diaappointed, or maybe I choose to eat there on the wrong day of the week. The ribs and smoked chicken taste like they had been cooked, frozen and reheated; the Mac&cheese tasted like fish, I didnt even try the greens. I even gave the food away and asked the people I gave the food to if they enjoyed, they had also given the food away. I will stick with Famous Daves best BBQ in town!!! Sorry, but Im being honest!!!

Best BBQ in all of Knoxville... With a catch. They are a catering business but serve walk up orders through a window. It is extremely popular with the locals. You can get a ginormous serving of any kind of barbecue you can think of. Flavors are genuine and robust. Pricing is reasonable. Their hours are a little bit wonky but again you have to consider that this is meant to be a catering business first, although I dont think very many people treat it like that due to its walk up and go popularity.

My favorite hole-in-the-wall BBQ spot in all of Knoxville. The prices are good, and the food is excellent. Not long ago, I opted for the jumbo size bbq pulled pork sandwich thinking that I was hungry enough that I should default to the largest size offered... My mistake! I was offered a small mountain of pulled pork that completely buried both of the buns. A+ mistake! Ill happily make it again.

I live close to this establishment so I decided to stop by and pick up some lunch for my out of town guest and family so we could enjoy our Sunday afternoon without the hassle of cooking. I purchased a pan or chicken wings and a slab of ribs and (3) pints of sides for a whooping $40.42. Well lets just say I was VERY disappointed. The sides were acceptable but the so called BBQ was the worst Ive ever had. The ribs were spare ribs, shame on me for not asking, Id suspect they never touched a grill or smoker because they had no flavor at all. They were soggy from lying in a pan of sauce. Im certain they had been in that sauce for days. The wings were the same way, not fresh and soggy from lying in the pan of sauce. My teenage son that will normally devourer almost anything couldnt even eat it. Needless to say I was embarrassed when I tried to serve this to my family and guest. I have had their pulled pork on one other occasion and it was edible but not very favorable. I would not recommend this place for BBQ.

I cant believe someone said they were dissatisfied with M&Ms BBQ! We have eaten it many, many years, and have NEVER EVER had any complaints! They use to have a place here in Kingston, and it was always standing room only!! And my husband is very critical when it comes to eating out, absolutely loves it! Their slaw is great also. I just visited them last Thursday, and again, there were 4 people waiting in front of me. It was awesome, as usual! And they are great, friendly people as well! REALLY makes me mad someone would give them a bad rap! But then, you cant please all of the people, all of the time! Ha! Keep crankin it out M&M! We love what you do!

Excellent BBQ and Catfish, and sides. We asked for less sodium on dishes, and they did their best. Always cheerful and you certainly get what you asked for. Wont leave hungry.

Got large BBQ sandwich ,avg BBQ but portion size way above normal and sauce is excellent. Had to use fork until I could get pork off sandwich. Thats how much they put on sandwich before you can hold it to eat.

These folks deliver sensational service!!! One Wednesday I called to place an order for pick up after my Zumba class. My class gets over at 7. They close at 7. It takes me about 15 minutes to get there from my gym. They stay open till I get there!!!! Do you believe that?That happened lots during the summer. Now that their hours have changed and they close at 6 for the holidays. I just called and the lady says oh is this Hilary? She knew me because I asked what time they closed and by the fact that its Wednesday. She said theyd still be there cleaning at 7 (she remembered what time my Zumba class lets out). Shes staying open for me!!!! An hour!!! She will have my food ready and will be friendly doing it.Seriously the food is great and so is the service. Highly recommend!!

Have gone here 4 happy years after a friend was wonderful to recommend them and we have loved it so much we had many pounds of their pulled pork at our wedding (which all of our guests raved about). The Loaded Fries (large) are always loaded with a huge amount of pulled pork more than any wimpy pulled pork sandwich anywhere. We will not set foot in Buddys, Infamous Daves or Sonnys. Most other places weve tried in the greater Knoxville area over the years, except for Calhouns & Dead End, are an overpriced and/or pitiful rendition of what great southern BBQ should always be. M&Ms appearance may scare away the hipsters or yuppies, but they are the real deal. Try them! Also, everyone there speaks/knows English- dont lay your prejudice on someone with an accent! They always gave us great service, exactly what we ordered.

This one is an old favorite for me. Its located off of Middlebrook Pike in West Knoxville. I think that the barbeque is excellent and will go out of my way to go here. The staff is super friendly! You will probably have to wait 5+ mins for your food but its worth it.

I personally love my own bbq. I have my own seasoning and everything but its a process. This has that hole in the wall feeling. They could place a little more seasoning on the meat but its a good place if you dont prefer chain bbq.

None of the food was fall off the bone. The hot sauce was good in flavor, but was not hot. Some of the meat was blackened, but none of it was caramelized. The iced tea tastes like crap. The cashier could barely speak English. I recommend going somewhere else.
