Well the associates here are very humble and polite. Service is good but if u own a normal cycle under the range of 14-15k like mine then i wud not suggest this place for servicing. Place is good for sales and service of high end cycles 25k+ range. I found the repair and service expensive.

If you want to ride a bike and/or just get a bike in Mysore, you must come here. Recently I got a road bike from Cyclopedia after many years in my life, exactly 40 years. Once I visited here and consulted with staffs about just my idea. Then Lokesh and Fariyal have arranged and prepared everything I want perfectly within a few weeks. I will definitely often visit here for future, coz I feel like a sweet home for cyclists.

I recently purchased a cycle from Cyclopedia. I reside in BLR and the cycle which I was looking at was not available in BLR. So i contacted Ms. Fariyal and she shared all the details of the cycle on whatsapp; and i got cycle delivered in 3 days at my location. Missing single star was for the delivery partner VRL. I was in need of a cyclometer urgently as my existing one got rogue and I was to return from Mysore in 2 days, so I asked Venky sir (the undisputed boss in Bangalore cycling community), and he recommended Mr. Loki of Cyclopedia. So I went there, and as Guru as Sishya (as described by Mr. Loki 😄), he truly is a person who, apart from being being a professional cyclist in the recent past, is a man of knowledge and passion, NOT doing his business only for mindless profit. 🙂 He helped me with the cyclometer, and also with making it ready for install. I guess his wife is also into cycling (my friend said she has brought a team of cyclists at his farm at Hosakote) and takes the enquiry calls, and is very much knowledgeable too. So, if you are in Mysore, this is the place to go for your cycling related needs. 🙂

Arrogant, judgemental, elitist, money minded and extremely rude.I had heard a lot of good things about this place from the reviews but the owner was extremely judgemental and arrogant when I visited. I wanted to off my cycling journey with a basic cycle and asked them for a cycle in the price range of 15k. He first said they didnt have stock for my height(6ft) and seeing as how I wasnt there to spend big bucks he literally started ignoring me and my dad and behaved in a very arrogant and judgemental manner. My dad was asking him basic questions about the extra attachments he was giving very rude one word answers or just plain ignoring them and was doing something on his laptop and not even looking at us. We werent dressed all too well and the elitist judgement he was making was bare and clear. I tried asking him about the cycle size for different heights and he just plainly ignored it and told me to refer to a chart hung above. After this we just stood there silently for a couple of minutes in which he completely ignored us and was doing something on his laptop.Absolutely none of the helpful and welcoming attitude that some people here have described, who Im sure wud have wanted to spend a lot of money there, which is why I feel that fake treatment.After this bad experience I asked around about the place and found that many of my friends have had similar experiences here. A friend of mine said that he visited with sweaty clothes and they were arrogant to him, were ignoring him, and being very judgemental and the moment he said he wanted to buy a 50-60 k cycles their entire attitude changed in a moment and they started treating him so differently.People here have said they want to build the cycling community, which is good but who are they to decide who belongs in that community and who doesnt?Going to a local store like RR Cycles is much better than this as the prices are also really amazing and the people are also so humble. If you do want to visit a professional store though, giant strakken is much better option and they are really humble and genuine people.Extremely hurt and saddened by this experience.

Recently bought my bike form Cyclopedia, great service by Lokesh and Fariyal. They are very friendly and welcoming. Options were limited coz of high demand but managed to find a cycle for my need. Will defiantly go back for future upgrade.

I visited their store on 27th December 2019, for a prep meeting to the 250KM ride, to Coorg and back. What caught my eye immediately, was the range of fantastic bicycles and equipment in their store. The collection of gear, especially the brands and range, was too good for a city like Mysore. But then I realised Loki and Fairyal have been inculcating the cycling culture in the city for 7 years now.The couple are professional cyclists with a long history of competitive cycling - so they understand the consumer need very well. Driven by passion, they tend to sell the customer the right product for their need instead of up-selling high margin products. Worth mentioning, they are very brand neutral; but I have seen that some products like Castelli shorts or jerseys that I have used, are recommended by them and rightly so as they are probably the best ones for recreational cyclists. This is a refreshing change in a world where cycling enthusiasts look for genuine and honest advice. Also, it is very rare to find genuine athletes in this business. Everythings fine but they are not so interested or serious when u take a cheap bike for a service or a repair they give more importance for expensive bikes and rich customers.

If you are staying in Mysore for longer time, why not to rent a bicycle instead of a scooter?I got good and reliable service and a reasonable price when I rented a bicycle. I was lucky to be able to join a group going to Chamundi Hill. Ask for group rides if you are unfamiliar with the new city or feel unsafe in traffic. Riding in a group in a new city felt safe.I highly recommend Cyclopedia!

On February 98 2018, I bought a merida big 9, 20 D bicycle from the Mysore dealer, m/s cyclopedia, situated on kalidasa cross road, v v mohalla - 02.Although, I am very happy with the cycle, I am thoroughly disappointed with the attitude of the people at the dealership. They have a very arrogant, judgmental and argumentative attitude. They also seem to think they are doing the customers a big favour and constantly brag and boast about being bicycle riders, expecting their paying customers to be respectful and subservient to them. They also asked me to tip their maintenance staff for a favour.I least bit expected this attitude from the dealers.These chaps also indirectly threatened to withdraw from any warranty and / service issue. Shocking attitude.
