Worst experience Not recommended at all. Bad service and bad experience. Booked through app as early check-in. But their manager charged100extra for that. Also gives some worst another and dirty room and tell us that main room will be given after Staff was very rude and unprofessional. We have to carry our luggage on the 3nd floor ourselves. No room service over there. Room was full with mosquitos ans cockroaches. Very unhygienic. Not recommended.not worthy at all. dont go.

Got this place as first hit in oyo. Stayed here with family while in Mysore. Reasonable place to stay for a day or two. Cant comment on price as I dont know whats the baseline in Mysore yet 1.2K for 4 people seems reasonable atleast to Bangalore standards.

When I argued, the owner used very bad words on me and my parents. When I tried protesting the guy from the front office he physically assaulted me and captured my lauggage. Then finally I had to call the police to get my bag back.Such a dirty hotel and goons like people. Never book this hotel.

Worst experience there is water issue i was stuck in washroom for half an hour nd they were like water will come in few min but it came almost after an half hour...they charge extra after booking their behaviour is not good for customers

Rooms are very untidy, youll find all sort of insects like bed bugs, cockroach and all on the bed, no AC and TV available. On the whole it feels like a haunted house than hotel room.

Waste and worst place, Never go there. Two boys sitting at reception and they do not have way to talk. Rooms are in pathetic condition. While booking showing within 1.3 km from Mysore city bus stand but when we reached it was more then 2.5 km. Oyo company is doing fraud after lock down with customers and how they give license to such type of proprietors for Oyo registration. I visited with my wife and we did not like the room and way of talking these people. never every go there and will not suggest anybody to book this place through oyo.

They gave me the room no 104 and they collected money in advance and did not provided any reciept for the payment. When we questioned this they started threatning us. When we check the room it was in such a pathetic condition which makes it difficult for anybody to stay in that property. Room was not cleaned and in the washroom when we pressed the flush, water from the closet was leaking on the floor.If you claim that we didnt check in I challenge you to upload your reception cctv footage this time(I hope atleast your cctv in working condition)Guys stay away from this property...!! even a low budget lodge would be much cleaner and hygenic than this!!If you still doubt stay once and get the worst experience of your lifetime

Get ready to pay extra money or you will get dirty room with no services.I booked this room through oyo app, where its rating was 4/5. After that before checking in I searched this hotel in Google maps there people were saying that these people take extra money when checkin in. I thought that the revies may be fake like somethingThey were asked me 400/- rs extra as convenience fee. They were showing me something But Ive already paid full fee online in oyo app. I showed them that there is no dues. Then that reception person called someone and asked him that we people not giving the money so they give me room or not. That person told him to give room for me.They gave me the room But in that room AC was not working, No soap and shampoo, No water. The bad was dirty. Window was broken. No dustbin etc etc. I had to ask them for room keys, they forget to give the keysThis was bad experience. Oyo should check these people out. They are making the name OYO bad.

The hotel was awful. The staff were rude, they didnt have any water in the room, forced us to buy water from them at higher price. When I asked if we can fill up from their water filter, the staff went ahead and filled our bottles from a tap outside on the road. AC was not working. They didnt give us even a bar of soap and I cant really explain the bad experience at 11 in the night when we returned to the hotel and found not even a bar of soap in the bathroom. When asked, the hotel staff said that they dont have. No food arrangements and forget about room service (half an hour for a cup of tea). Wouldnt even recommend this hotel if it were free for a month. And didnt really realize that MakeMyTrip also has no control over the hotel service (or they dont want to take this responsibility). This is an OYO hotel and OYO guys are equally responsible for this kind of awful service in these types of hotels. Really awful 2 days.

Overnight stay hotel, budget friendly and in the midst of old residential area (Ontikoppal/Jayalakshmi purum) of Mysore. Hotel is on a narrow lane, and car parking would need to be on the narrow street. For food, one can find options at walkable distance.

No elevator no AC rooms high cost not value for money

We booked a room from OYO, but when we reached this hotel to check in, they denied to give us room, at that moment it sound like bombing, cause that particular day we travelled around 250km to reach Mysore, and we were in need of a good bath and sleep. Finally we had to call OYO customer care and they shifted us to a different hotel. This is not at all expected from any hotel and I cant understand why OYO brings this kind of hotel to their list. This is completely harrassment. I wont suggest any people to book Kingstons Residency, through OYO, you may be the next victim.N.B : There is no parking space available, you might have to park your vehicle on the road infront of the hotel.

Its a cost effective place and the people also are nice who speak humbly.Just the washrooms stink. The rooms are spacious and they have their own parking space. The streets are wide and the cigarette shop is also closeby.I have given 3 stars because the toilets were stinky and there was no soap also which usually is a part of service.

For the amount paid, this is a decent and calm place to stay. Everything is average and for the price point, no complaints to be made. One suggestion will be - please provide extra toiletries if asked. Dont say 1 toiletry for 1 room irrespective of number of people.

Good budget hotel with nice clean rooms and hot water. Good for overnight stay in Mysore. Cons include no lift, location in very narrow street with no open space for air or sunlight nad no allotted parking space. So if you want a place just to sleep at night then its good. Owner and staff are also quite helpful. I just needed a place to stay for mysore trip and budget-wise its an ideal place.

Kingston Residency in now fully converted to oyo property. I paid a fairly decent price of 1100 INR for a room. The room was quite spacious. There is lack of lightning and ambience in the room. There is scope of improvement in customer services. 3 stars for prompt response of the staff.

Stayed here last week for 2 days. It is a very good hotel situated in a residential colony which has all the facilities around. The room we got in 2nd floor was spacious, huge beds and well ventilated with extremely clean toilet. Wifi connection was fast and good. Staff was very attentive and helpful. We asked for hangers, we got them in 2 mins. We asked for extra soap, got them in 2 mins, asked warm drinking water for my kid in the early morning, got it in 5 mins. Seeing our heavy luggage, they volunteered to pick it from my car.Car parking is behind the hotel building and I did not face any problem with parking my sedan. However, ppl with less driving experience might face little bit of problem driving in a small street.Keep up the good work and looking forward for my next stay @ Kingston.

Had a great stay at the place. We were a group of 7 people and have booked 3 rooms. The service was way better than expected. The receptionist is sweet talking and a nice lady. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and very good in condition. We ordered coffee in the morning which was delivered very quickly. As we were there as a tourist, they even provide us a Traveller for sight seeing. I would really love to visit the place again.

CHEATERS... They shows as OYO Rooms at lower rate. But, if you book and get confirmed, at the time you reach there, they says that the whole rooms are filled and not possible to let you rooms based on low rate mentioned in oyo sites. They would have hand overed it to someone for higher payments or ask for higher payment from us.And they will inform us about some of the nearby hotels for night stay which are low class and unhygienic at the rate higher than the mentioned and you must have adjustwith their ridiculous cheating play. They never mind your elder parents nor pregnant wifes during this foul play. And am wondering why OYO is not taking any action against these frauds eventhough the OYO number and board is kept in front of their hotel. I lost trust on booking rooms on OYO because these cheaters. OYO people are also assisting this foul play.

But Rooms doesnt have a chair. if they include chairs in the room, it would be good. they are very prompt in service requests.i felt that room service for Food was slightly expensive. it is good one for family. it seems that they give it only for family.

Its 3.5 Km from Bus stand but you can find local auto to go anywhere.the hotel is good for short stay as we was there for 1 night only.food is not served there as they dont have restaurant but you can have it from Empire which is at walking distance, even hotel can arrange it from there.its a new property and i m sure it will do good in future.All the best

Had an awesome stay with my friends at Kingston. We stayed for 2D/2N. The room was very good in such price. The service and hotel staff was also outstanding. Whenever Im going to visit Mysore again, this definitely would be my stay.

First of all, they have got good goonda(criminal) teams.. including the receptionist, when I went with my friends, they argued with us about the prices and we 3 got beaten up by 12 criminals.. so kindly stay away from this place because its not safe...still OYO is listing this hotel although they have received many complaints...OYO doesnt responds to customer experience

Good same check out is not normal (11am-12am). not comfortable, mostly trains or buses from other states reached before 9am.but here not possible to check in , will wait up to 11am.(mostly tourist places same formula). suppose u want two days rental collect.

This hotel is located away from busy city traffic and very suitable for family stay. Rooms are spacious enough. My suggestion is to have exhaust fan in toilet and mosquito mesh to windows. Rest all perfect. I banked on uber for my local travel, they do come to this place with no reservations.
