This railway station is very spacious and peaceful but trains are not available in plenty. Only passenger trains going to Chamarajapuram and Nanjangod stop here. There are five trains every day. The facilities for passengers are minimum. There is no restaurant and the lone coffee shop opens only when trains are expected. Good restaurants are available at Ballal Circle some one kilometer away.

Cleanly maintained railway station in Mysuru. You can get trains from here to Chamarajanagar and Nanjangud also a few trains coming from chamarajanagar and going to Bangalore.

Nice Railway station good fot small amount of commuters, since this station falls in line to chamrajanagara where a small amount of train passes and no connectivity to Tamilnadu and Kerala only passenger trains availableso by that way station is small but based on traffic its goodpeople used to get train going to Nanjangud and Chamrajnagara
