The road actually ends here and you cannot go any further. On a windy day it gets quite chilling and it is one of those places that get snowfall quite often in the season. The view of the hills and forest covered hills is quite mesmerizing. Of all the Mussourie views Clouds End is the most peaceful, romantic and authentic spot. Standing high above eagles flying one can look out at the valleys and mountains for miles and enjoy the forests and clouds that float below. An absolute must for nature lovers.

Amazing viewpoint. Do visit the private property there as well. It has ₹150/person entry fee and it may sound on the higher side, but if you explore the property properly, you can see the best viewpoints of Mussoorie.Tip: Go to the echo point. On the board downhill, it will be directed towards left for Echo Point (there is no echo there). Turn right from the place to visit the most beautiful spot.

Its a beautiful place to watch the sunset and to chill. Expect crowd here because its quite popular. The road leading to this location is quite narrow and not well built. Quit a bumpy ride and not very safe if you are travelling alone at night specially in a 2 wheeler. You can see a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and also the famous George everest peak.

Clouds end is one of the awesome and best place I have ever visited. The air is so refreshing, it feels so good being that close to nature. You can also see beautiful view of Dehradun city from the top of clouds end. It is the best place to visit on week ends or on holidays with you family and friends. you can also do night camping there. You can even feel yourself above the real clouds and clouds touching you. If you are planning for some holidays and vacations with your friends the Clouds End is the best place.

We trekked from Academy to this hill top place and back. It was a nice trek of around 16 KM. The view at the top is breathtaking. However, the owner of the resort there has put up entry fee with displays that all this is private forest (therefore making you feel that you are not welcome).

This place is just as the name sounds. Such a great and offbeat place. The road is difficult to find, but ask locals on the way to find the exact way. There is a military camp, where you can find water and toilets. Theres an entry fee of Rs 50. Once you enter, youll be admist the nature, flowers and butterflies, woods, mountains. There are two points, echo point and view point. The view is incredible and the place has chilly winds blowing. It is not so famous as the way is difficult to reach and you wont find many people here. This also makes the place untouched and still clean and natural. You will definitely be at peace here. Must visit.

Cloud End is almost 8 kilometers from Mussorie and a place worth visiting. There is a resort named Cloud End Forest Resort. The entry charges are Rs 100 for adults and Rs 50 for kids up to the age of 10 years. The resort has a restaurant, a museum and photo gallery. The museum houses some of the antique items used by British but entry is not allowed. One has to peep through the glass to see these items. The resort is surrounded by thick deodar forest and is a very quiet place. Also there is one Echo Point where you can hear voice echo when you shout. The drive to Cloud End is very difficult and dangerous so better to hire local taxi to reach. For those who love nature and serenity, then this is the place.
