Had a great stay for couple of days and I should say, great place to visit. The resort is located on the hills which provide a great scenery of mountains. The emplayees are well trained and good behavior with all exceptional quality services. Even though the food is little expensive, but awesome taste and well cooked(appreciate the head chef who supervise the kitchen). Overall, a best place to stay and get a classified 5 star resort service and experience.

A great escape from the comparatively busy munnar town, with lush greenery and a serene environment.Great staff and an overall pleasant stay.

Had a very good experience at fragrant Nature Munnar. The resort is very beautiful. Its deceptive in that the facade reminds you of a regular hotel. But if you go inside, you see that theres a breathtaking view and multitude of places to explore inside. Very interesting design also where all the rooms are below ground level and the top most floor is the reception. The room had a brilliant balcony with an amazing view. The service levels were exemplary. All the staff without a single exception were very cordial, friendly and helpful. The food was quite good - you get all the regular stuff here but everything was very tasty. If I may post a single con (just for the sake of it), its that I felt the parking space was a bit cramped.

Spend a night here with family. We had booked three moonlight bliss rooms and had a great time. Much needed break from Covid times. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Not only was the food tasty but hygienic too. Chilly Paneer is a must try. The balcony in moonlight bliss offers a breath-taking view to the valley below. Coming to the bad, the hotel cannot be compared to a 5 star property due to the infrastructure. Rooms had paint swollen, Bedsheets had iron stains, In-room couch was soiled and curtain sheers too were dirty. Quality of construction and fineness missing in the property. However the prices of food matched five star comparison. Room tariff as well as food were overly priced and hence I found less value for the money paid, hence 3 stars.

Simply great.. this place is the best couple getaway in munnar by far . The service, the rooms and the view is excellent.. premium rooms have private sit outs . The place is in the middle of a small village in pothamedu and it doesnt look so appealing from the front but it extends a lot more than u can imagine to the back.. the food here is expensive nd so are the rooms.. but its a must visit in munnar.. u get a good view of the whole valley and a much improved view than all the view points.. the rooms are clean and spacious and has a lot of accessories n furnitures..

Good, but slightly narrow rooms. The view to the valley is great. Not good from the -3 floor though. The lunch is very average. Breakfast was good. Good crew.. hospitality was great. There is a good looking garden down the steps which is a must visit in this hotel. The locality may not look neat but is okay..

Stayed a day in this hotel. Got awesome experience. Lobby is looking great. Staffs are well behaved with us . Nice food. moreover we do not lack anything here in our stay. I visited many properties in munnar during my 6 days trip and definitely i can say that fragrant nature is the best property in munnar.

Visited Dec 20Fantastic hospitality. The view from all rooms is a huge bonus. We went around local sight seeing & realized nothing beats the view from the room. Restaurant food is very good as well, again with top class hospitality. The drive to the hotel can be challenging, good to speak to hotel staff to get the correct approach route.

Value for money is what I have rated as 3/5.So thats the impression overall.You cant exactly fault them but then whatever is there falls short of the money charged.Staff is courteous,the room.service is prompt.The menu is extensive and cooking is good.But then if you are charging the rates for a 4/5 star property then the standards deserve improvement; just clarifying.Limited parking,difficult approach road.Use GPS and a good confident driver to cart you.If you are an inexperienced driver please dont take the wheel.Nobody would,in hilly terrain but I thought I will convey this too,just to be safe.

Food was the only bad thing here.it was definitely decent chilly chicken was very tasty.all dishes are very very very overpriced.quantity is very less and taste was not all that great. We got noodles that tasted like it was old food.road to go here is a bit damaged but the location is good and staff are courteous

Decent property but more then that has excellent staff and amazing service. Simply wow. I can 3 to 4 staff members who were at there best while dealing with full house crowd.

Its located at the side if a large mountain which gives a breathtaking view of the valley. But the opposite side is just in the middle of a busy street that kills the ambiance. Other than the view, nothing is there to comment about. Food is horrible.

Best place to stay @munnar.. while it is expensive but its worth staying, food is excellent, you can hire cars for sight seeing directly from the hotel, there is one convenient shop in walking distance, only one dingy wine shop @munnar.. best rooms at Fragrance Nature are #701-703, #601-603, #501-503 which has the best views.

One of the best times I have spend away from home during Covid 19.Friendly staff with amazing customer service experience.Their hospitality knows no bounds.Only challenge is they dont have a lot of parking space but still they manage well.

Wonderfull location with excellent views. Covered with fog most of the times. Neat and clean rooms with all facilities. Friendly staffs, only thing to keep in mind is the food is very very costly. We had our lunch (Myself, wife and our 5 year old kid) from outside from a decent hotel costs less than the price of their single biriyani, apart from that we really enjoyed our stay and ill surely recommend this place. Try to book the Moonlight bliss room which have balcony which offer great views.

Good property well maintained even in this panademic situation.Rooms are neat and clean. Food was also awesome. Price was little high but considering 5 start resort its worth. Main attraction of the property is that the view from every room is same and gives a pleasant feel.Nearly 4 to 5 km from Munnar Town. Staffs are all well behaved and helpful .

I stayed in fragrant nature Munnar last week for three days , here are my honest opinions about this placePros:Stunning view from all the roomsClean & well maintained garden and surroundingsBreakfast with a stunning viewCons:Food - Taste is not really great for the price servedCommunication - I felt there is no proper communication on the changes eg. this place doesn’t have bar licence but they didn’t mention anywhere on my booking.Service - I felt room service is slow and I had to call twice and order more basic things like dental kit , bathrobes etcAccess - I felt hotel is less accessible for elderly as it has more steps to move aroundSpa - okayish !I stayed in fragrant nature Cochin which is more better than Munnar . I also feel service stranded is not consistent across their branches.Overall value for the money is not justified !Hope they take these reviews seriously and improve !

This is a magnificent property based on the research I did on the hotels in the area. The best feature is the picturesque view from the rooms here particularly from the blue rooms with the balcony overlooking the mountains and clouds.Best season to visit is between october through Jan

Toooooooooo gooood... Rooms, ambience, service quality everything is first class. Room rents are expensive.Our room was moon light bliss room.Charges was around ~10.5K per night (Valentines week). View from balcony was mesmerizing. Try to get rooms on left side of the property (Room no 706 onwards). There are some blockage in the view from right side of the property for this specific category room.In house resturant is very costly. Food quality is good.Front desk executive named puja and viswakarma was very helpful.Overall experience was very good.

5 star Hotel that has the feel of a Resort. The Architecture is amazing & the beauty of Munnar can be greatly experienced from this Hotel. The Staff are courteous & the food is good but costly (5 stars). Due to COVID 19, most facility are not available even dinner buffet, etc. So keep that in mind.Visited in November.

If you love silence... come and stay here the view is outstanding...

Great ambience and service

Beautiful property ! The roads that lead to this are breathtaking except for the last 300-400 mts - there are small dwellings around this place. Rooms are spacious, well maintained and clean. We opted for a room with mountain valley view and the view was amazing ! TV does not have any channels activated, you need to call the reception with the channels you want to watch, same with the electric furnace need to ask the reception for the remote. Spa was alright, in my view the masseurs may not be trained professionally since the massage was just alright and not the authentic Ayurvedic massage. Food was delicious, the in room dining menu has good portions of food whereas the specialty restaurant has smaller portions. Overall it was one of our best stay experience in Munnar.

The ambience is good being situated at an elevated terrain..but the service of the hospitality personnel at the premises is just mediocre and the tariffs are rather overpriced and overhyped with the facilities.

Our stay was very pleasant and excellent; I would give it a 4.5 if I could. The hotel was located near the top and on the side of a mountain, and the views of rolling hills along the horizon was breathtaking. There were many guests from north america, and a very pleasant relaxing vibe. Reminds me of an Indian versian of Tuscany. The staff were very friendly and many spoke english. The fitness facility was quite nice with a good basic selection to use, and was stocked with aquafina water. Breakfast was an excellent assortment of traditional kerala, indian, and western foods. Dinner and room service also had a wide assortment to chose from. We enjoyed the breathtaking sunrises, and the traditional ayurvedic spa and steam treatments. I enjoyed my treatment, but it would be nice if the spa masseuse staff had comparable licenses for their practice as a deep massage requires in-depth training to perform well.

Location and view excellent. Narrow and guttery 2 km long road to this hotel not so much, especially if you have a premium sedan, which you probably have if you are looking to book here. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms neat clean and spacious. Staff take good care of you.

We planned for a much needed family vacation at Fragrant Nature but had a horrible experience.Roads Leading to the stay is in pathetic condition. There are no sign boards which are placed near Main Road deviation.Location was beautiful but rooms are overpriced for the facilitiesNo welcome Drink and no welcome from the hotel staffMini Fridge was kept empty and turned offRooms has no fresher so a closed room did not smell good when we enteredThe special restaurant which they show in their images was locked and no one had accessLawns were not maintained and were DryBoth in Booking.com and their website listed Bar, Spa, Wifi in their available facilities but for our shock at the time of check in Hotel Informed us the bar and Spa is closed.Wifi was not working the entire time of stay due to the network provider issue so we had no Internet access or a strong network reception in that remote placeLunch menu of the so called 5 star hotel had less that 10 items including the gravy, starters and main courseFor desserts they had only 2 options and they were canned food.They did not have any authentic Kerala dishes in menuEven breakfast had limited options.Being in munnar they did not even have a tea that tasted good.They have timings for kitchen and food won’t be served outside those timing.God help if you need food in the night after 10PM.I have never been to a 5 star hotel serving canned food to their customers with such limited and dull menu.When asked about liquor availability the manager openly stated they cannot maintain a bar as having even a single beer bootle in their facilities will cost them 28lacs tax to government so they have shifted all the stock to Kochi branch.They do not have a spa available as they are running with limited staffing.Manger insisted us on downloading BEVq app on our phone which is an app designed by government to book slot to buy liquor from government bars or wine shopsI had to struggle to book a slot through that app to buy liquor as I couldn’t get an OTP with bad network reception.Finally after a very long journey from Bangalore, bad room, bad lunch and with no support from hotel staff, I had to travel again in that pathetic road and wait for 30 minutes in queue which had no idea about social distancing and win my prize of buying liquor just to spend some good time as hotel had nothing else to offer ( Unfortunately after so much struggle I had no strength to enjoy the drink that evening ).Then i came back and demanded an explanation from Booking.com who had mentioned these facilities, which were not available.When Booking.com contacted the hotel and asked to compensate for the inconvenience caused to customers because of the false information and promises provided by the restaurant they replied stating they were only following government regulations and cannot serve alcohol.It’s totally understandable and we respect the government’s decision but they never replied to why the facilities were listed in Booking.com when it wasn’t available. Why false advertisements?They were blunt and said they cannot do anything about it and weren’t even sorry.They said they provided information at the time of check in and we had option to leave if we were not happy.Overall this place is not worth the price and has no reason to claim themselves a classified 5 star hotels.There are much better places available in munnar at a very reasonable price and better hospitality.I would suggest you not to go by the images and book your stay here.I am not sure how this hotel was in the past, but the present state is disappointing and future doesn’t look good if they care so little for their customers.

Best hotel to stay in munnar.located 8-10 km from city centre.One can do many activities in the hotel like bonfire etc.Trekking and tea garden visit packages are available in the hotel but are chargeable.Spa is also there in the hotel.24 hour room service available.Scenic views of tea gardens from the hotel rooms and restaurant.hotel staff was very warm.we were given 2 tea sachets of different flavour when we were checking out.hotel was full of foreigners.

Fragrant Nature Munnar offers best in class luxurious rooms with splendid views of the highlands. Situated at the centre of Munnar and has all amenities from a fully fledged BAR to Spa and a multi-gym. The restaurants offer multi cuisine as well local speciality dishes. The glasshouse speciality restaurant is a must visit dining outlet.

We stayed at Fragrant Nature Munnar last week as a family with 2 kids. The resort is a little higher up on the hills but with easy access to the typical sightseeing attractions and to the town. The stay was superb with great views of the mountains from our room balcony, excellent food and wonderful and prompt service. Even special requests for for my son at breakfast and for a last minute birthday cake were accommodated quickly and gracefully. Would definitely recommend this resort to everyone and would love to visit again.

Located in a place which has various houses right next to it. Half completed buildings, people drying clothes etc etc. Very ordinary surroundings. The service is average... Bfast had chilled sambhar when it opened at 7am ... Means it was not made fresh and secondly the staff did not even bother to heat it before pouring it in the buffet dish. Rooms are well appointed... Our room had a huge balcony which was the saving grace. The new years party had a 3 hour long performance of south indian dances alternated with a band. The performance and the party wrapped up at 1130.... Even before the new year...Lol... Watching south indian dances on a new year gala was a crazy concept. Far from the market... Not much to do in munnar other than see the tea estates all over the place. That is a beautiful sight. Would not spend more than a night in munnar or this hotel.

To begin with.. its an extremely overrated place in my opinion. Person at reception will make sure u give the rating right on tripadvisor in front of her, so if u r not blunt enough u ll end up giving great reviews.I stayed here for 2 days and following is my analysis..1. Stay, comfort, location is totally equivalent to any good 3 star hotel at Munnar. Munnar is a beautiful place and offers breathtaking scenic view. This hotel also provides good view but there are many 3 star hotels (eg Misti mountains) which would provide the similar view at 1/3rd the price.2. Food as compared to price is extremely average. Morning breakfast buffet menu is also exactly same as that of any 4 star hotel.Nothing so exceptional about the food3. Tour packages provides by hotel is extremely costly actually more than double of what you can arrange yourself. We booked through Munnar tourism and the cab service was extremely good.4. Toiletries are very average. Except for loofah i did not find anything to be great.5. In my particular room the heater wasn’t working enough to warm the room. M not sure about the other rooms.To sum it all, the place is good, view is good and stay is also good but its not at all value for money. Had it costed half of what i paid i would have given it a 5 star rating.

The only 5 star in munnar! Thats what it claims. Full marks for the property development . Its located not so best surroundings but the property overlooks the mountains and valley beneath. Moonlight rooms has amazing balcony to chill and rooms are huge cozy and clean neat bathrooms. The restaurant serves one of the best buffey breakfast having kerala ,continental and bit of North indian dishes. If you expect this be 5 star cuisine i am afraid you might be slightly disappointed. Staffs are refreshingly polite and have very good intend to keep customer happy.

Amazing place

Excellent location, very polite staff and very well looked after. The food needs to be a bit improved on.The hotel is located near tea and cardamom estates and they have nature walks and treks. The guide is well informed.My husband and I had an excellent stay at the hotel. Would like to repeat the experience.

-Compared to the top three properties in Munnar , this one is by far the best.-The breakfast spread and kind of food served was as per the costs. One drawback being the in room dinning is only available till 8:00.-out of the three five stars in Munnar this property has the most value for money spa though still on the expensive side.- This also has a comparatively lower cost than the other two per night stay-They need to seriously improvise on the approach road to the hotel. They could have sign boards atleast because its easy to miss the turn to the hotel.- The room with a balcony is recommended. Presidential or top suite is ok as per the costs.-This property is also closer out of the other two to the town centre.

The view from this place is mind blowing

Fragrant Nature brings us a pleasent feeling from the time itself we arrived. The main attraction is the interior design and the outside is the wonderful scenary. Its just an awesome trip for us only because of Fragrant Nature. The main speciality of this hotel is the place where it is located, so that we can enjoy the beauty of munnar from every point of view. Another thing is the delicious food and the friendly behaivour of the staffs towards us. We surely recomend Fragrant Nature to our friends and families. Thankyou!!

Very good place to stay for vacation. View is awesome and takes your breath away. Minus 9 floors of staircase and garden in each. All exotic flowers , cardomom tree, and many fruits. Very well organised and maintained too. Gym is well equipped and attached with toilet and shower too. Gym napkins and bottled water also kept.

Was a pleasant trip to Munnar this time. And the stay made it extra ordinary. Fragrant Nature was an amazing place to stay and friendly n courteous, ever smiling staff members rejuvenated on the whole. Very delicious and succulent , mouth watering food through out. Need to improve on activities, socializing events and entertainment.

Location: very good.Got green on one side & rocky hill on other. It has 9floors but the length of the property is less if you wannna take a walk or play outdoor activities. Quite near to Munnar town.Room: must say that interiors are soothing & absolutely relaxing. Loved staying in the room & in the balcony. They don’t provide toothpaste & toothbrushes being 5star property which is a bit disappointingFood: Good food. Staff were quick & good at serviceIf you wanna party, then you can’t play loud music & must end by 9pm.

A great hotel with great service. Rooms are great and very roomy. Plenty of space with great bathrooms. There is s nice pool as well. The food is also very good. Nice menu but a bit limited on the drink selection. Its a fairly remote location so you really cant go and find other places to eat. Its a great place because it is so remote. If you go you will enjoy your time there.

Its a beautiful property with the most serene views. The rooms are very nicely maintained and the staff are also extremely polite. Special mention for Mishra, Sulakhana and Parbati who manage guests in their restaurant.....will definitely recommend this to travellers. Thank you Fragrant Nature for your hospitality....

Elegant and well managed resort, and surely the best in Munnar. Garden is superb and the location is carefully chosen to give a breathtaking view of the mountains. Food is excellent and reasonably priced for a 5 star category and standard. Staff is very friendly. Ill surely return to enjoy this hospitality again.

This hotel has beautiful views of the Pothemmedu village especially during the sunrise.This was my 5th day in Kerala and had my worst stay. Most of the online booking websites have rated this property as a 5star property but this property doesn’t even have a swimming pool.Poor quality rooms. My room had many cracks and the furniture is also of a low quality. This is not at all a five star property.Worst vegetarian food, worst Chef’s (Especially Mr. Delsin). Food cannot even match a 3 star category hotel. You won’t expect hard and sticky Idli’s in Kerala. I have attached a picture of the helathy Schezwan sauce(as they name it) they had offered me as a taste enhancer to the food. Has anyone had vegetable Schezwan sauce?This is just an example, there were many more epic foods I have had over here.They have a very limited menu.Arrogant and adamant staff, only few people know the Kerala Hospitality. This is a very over rated property. Please do not book this property. If you want any proofs please share me your email addresses and I will send them.

Staff falling over themselves to make us feel welcome and at home! Everyone smiling and friendly. The hotel is clean and well equipped with spectacular views. Would recommend if Youre swinging by Munnar!Only downside perhaps is theres nowhere really within walking distance to go and see. So youre largely confined to hotel if not got something planned. We were here while not many others were here so got almost individual attention from staff!The photos show a pool which it DOESNT have.Food was excellent. The buffet came out a bit more expensive than a la carte. Both good though.

The building is a bit brutal on the outside but elegant inside with fantastic views over the tea plantations and mountains. The staff and service is good. The restaurant service was a bit variable.

A warm welcome to after a hectic journey does put a smile on anyones face. They did just that! And of course the stay and comfort does count. And they werent far off at that too. Good people with good ambience is always treat and also when your here, make sure you visit the top station by 7 in the morning. Its a must go.

This is a newly opened hotel in the heart of Munnar. Took a big risk by booking it for our trip but thankfully the gamble paid off.The rooms are beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. Bathroom is modern and has good fittings.Since the hotel is new, service was a bit let down. The management is very cooperative but I think they are under staffed at this moment which I am sure will improve with time.The view from our room or in fact view from any spot at the hotel is breath taking. Restaurant serves great food though breakfast spread should be improved.Main market is just a 10 minutes drive from the hotel and others places of interest are also nearby.Book this hotel for a quiet, comfortable stay in Munnar.

Stayed at Fragrant Nature Munnar with my family.We were welcomed with warm towels and a cup of ginger tea, which helped us a lot after the tiring journey.The views from the reception, lifts and the balcony was mindblowing ! Sometimes the entire valley would be covered with fog, and all you can see is the white fog :) :) . If you open the windows of your room early morning, you can feel the fog creeping into the rooms. Also, we were able to see the sunrise.We stayed in two rooms, with connected balconies. There was an electric fireplace in the room, which was very useful as the temperature drops during night.We had dinner from their specialty restaurant, which is located at the top of the building, and is covered by glass on the sides & roof. My brother and me tried one of the Chefs special from their menu.. Maple glazed chicken. It was really good.Also, there is a entertainment area next to the specialty restaurant where they have chess, carroms etc. We played Foosball there.Overall I felt that the location of the hotel, the staff , the facilities were excellent.
