It was a really good experience to stay there at TEA COUNTY, the staff are really very friendly and we really love the ambiance. The rooms are neat and tidy and the bathrooms with adequate toiletries. The views from the balcony is very nice. Food at restaurant is nice with reasonable prices.Really loved their well maintained garden.Highly recommended

Me and My family visited Munnar in this October. We opted to stay in KTDC tea county. The facility is very near to Munnar Town. Well maintained with excellent hospitality. Highly recommending to opt-in in case you are planning to visit Munnar.

Beautiful place to spend time with your family. Well maintained and spacious rooms. The restaurant food is good. However hot water in the bathroom is available only in the morning and evening bw 6 -10. Clothes given for laundry the previous day will be returned next day by late evening. The property is located in the city centre. Overall a nice place .

The property is located at the heart of the town and makes popular eateries and other stores accessible. The staff were courteous and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. There is a play area with swing and slide for children. The breakfast was a buffet with homely taste. Overall good experience.

Beautiful property with excellent lay out and garden in the centre of town. Maintenance and upkeep need a lot of improvements. For eg common toilet in reception not working and no light in lav. The room furnishing and joinery need polishing. Staff very courteous and helpful

Visited the hotel before the second wave of pandemic hit Kerala. An excellent property with very hospitable staffs. Another highlight is the restaurant of the hotel. Food is served in buffet manner and the chef personally comes and enquire about the items served there. The hotel is very close to most of the sightseeing spots and therefore will be very convenient for tourists.

A safe place to stay in the times of Covid-19. Stay approved only after verification of vaccination certificate... Social distancing, well sanitized rooms and the food being served only to the rooms assures safety. Good rooms with balconies give a great view of the mountains and the sun-rise.The food is a bit costly. But, there are few good restaurants right in-front of this property. Peaceful ambience & recommended for families. The place is close to the market and the Bevco outlet as well, if that is also something that you look for.... ;)

Our Munnar trip was really memorable and awesome. We really enjoyed staying at Tea County resort. As there was no rush, they upgraded our stay to a premium room with same fair of booked room.It is located in such a place where we can go to almost every famous points in few hours..Staffs were very kind. Room services were good. You say it and it was done in no time. Quality and quantity of food was really good though it was over priced. Cleaniness and covid protocols were very well practiced.

What can I say about this elegant hotel where everything was so orderly. They even listened to our request of putting us in a nearby convenient room as we are senior citizens. Immaculate will be exact word. Cleanliness to service to sumptuous food all satisfied our tired soul. We profusely recommend this hotel.

There are not enough pictures of this lovely property. It is right in the heart of the munnar, easily accessible and has a beautifully done sprawling landscape. Everything is immaculately maintained from the tastefully done rooms to the gardens, the lobby, and the large dining area. There are large spaces for children to play and there is a small play area as well, which was our primary concern with our 15 month old baby. The room with a balcony has beautiful views of whole munnar. You must be prepared to drive /hire a taxi to echo Point and other attractions. The drive to Lockhart Estate is a must. Wonderful 2 days at tea County and munnar. Absolutely magical.

We booked the executive suit in KTDC tea county munnar for a day. The property is simply beautiful. Room was perfect; neat and tidy with a nice balcony overlooking the town. We had the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunch and dinner was really good. Breakfast could have been better - more variety would have been good. But everything tasted really good. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. And all covid precautions were being taken. We really loved the stay and will definitely be back whenever we visit munnar.

It is a heritage site of Kerala Tourism Development Corporation located at Munnar. It has about 39 cottages nicely furnished with comphy bed, room heater, a small sofa and a clean big bathroom.It has a beautiful landscape with all local and traditional plants. It also has beautiful flower beds that makes your stay very much close to nature.The restaurant serves fresh, hot, and tasty food. The staff is also very helpful and courteous. It is a must-stay location in Munnar.

I visited tea county on Jan 30th. We are totally satisfied with their excellent service, specially ensuring the safety standards and disinfecting the premises. The breakfast served was like home food and taste was awesome. We were also provided with cake to celebrate our great day on request. Thanks KTDC Tea County for giving us a memorable experience. Excellent Property & Service. Thanks to the entire team of Tea County, especially Mr. Abhilash (asst. Manager) & his subordinate (a native of Kozhikode, sorry I forgot his name), we had a wonderful stay at the property.All the staff are at your service, any time you need them. The dinner was good, but the breakfast could have been better. Please note that due to Covid19, there is no restuarant, but only in room service.You either need an RTPCR -ve certificate or should be vaccinated (atleast 1st dose). They are very strict on that.Hope to stay there again in the future.

Visited the Restaurant for Breakfast Buffet, with family and children. Staff was very hospitable and welcoming. The dishes were delicious and gave variety choices. Lack of Valet Parking makes it tedious to park the vehicle in a distant parking open ground. Going back and forth from parking takes off, the star value, a bigger bit. The property is wonderful with its green pastures.

An ideal property for family and couples alike. Friendly and courteous staffs. They have a beer parlor and restaurant inside the resort. I found the food to be delicious but a bit higher on the price front. Rooms, linen provided were clean. That being said, I found molds and water stains on bathroom taps and showers. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.

Except some unprofessional communication from the Housekeeping team, everything else was good. Breakfast was not up to the mark. Guest Relation was awesome. A very professional, respectful and friendly approach from Mr Jayesh, Front Office Coordinator. The issues we faced from the Housekeeping team were smoothly handled and fixed by him. Rooms and the ambiance were great. Overall, a good experience!

Visiting Tea County was the best choice we could possibly select.We got best of all amenities and room service and staff was always available and the service was very quick. Probably biggest property in Munnar. just in Munnar centre with great views from every room either city or valley. we stayed at j2 which was very spacious with a wonderful vista of Munnar town with a backdrop of nice mountain range .Every aspect of this resort is ultra spacious whether the lobby,restaurant or parking and the perfectly maintained garden all around the resort with well lit paved pathways. Room had heater,,wide range of toiletries,kettle,tea coffee sachets,Sony led tv with many a channels across languages. we can sit in the balconys garden chairs for hours watching the changing vista.complimentary breakfast is a-la-carte with decent spread and every item we ordered were tasty. Checkin checkout was a breeze and any call to reception was actionized in flash. if you have problems in walking ask for blocks A-C and if you could walk a bit more,opt for j-k and further.The location,the room,the amenities,the friendly and helpful staff .Very highly recommendedThe balcony view,extra spacious rooms,the wonderful staff

Very good four star eco friendly resort on a hill with nice valley View rooms. Rooms are clean and with all modern amenities. Resort has good parking area and restaurant offers a wide range of food variety. Food is tasty and affordable.

Rooms are really good. Have balconies with nice view of the mountains. The hotel staff is polite and courteous. Complimentary breakfast has multiple options. This hotel is maintained by Kerala tourism. Hotel premises is pretty big and is maintained well. Can spend time walking around the premises. Table tennis and Billiards table available in the hotel as well.Had some issues with hot water in the morning. Ordered veg food in the night. North Indian subjis tasted okay.Would recommend this hotel for stay in Munnar.

This place has been maintained really well and is one of the only, if not the only decent place within Munnar town. Ive stayed here about 8-9 years back and it was really good. Recently, had lunch there and was impressed to see that it was still maintained well.

Stayed in Tea County for 2 days with my family. Rooms were so neat and their service is awesome. All the formalities were done in no time... They followed the Covid protocol and sanitized the luggages before entering into the rooms and premises along with temperature check and a health checklist. Food price is on the higher side, for which I am reducing one star... If the food price could be reduced, then it would have been 5 star for them.

Nice location to be in Munnar. Very kind staff and superb maintenance. Might look bit expensive but worth it. For room cleaning you need to inform the reception or room service.Otherwise no cleaning due to COVID.

This stay was part of my workation trip to munnar. coming from kochi, where the climate is hot, Munnar seemed to be better. I chose Tea County as it is at a perfect location in The center of Munnar and not like a multistoreyed hotel room. The first two days, we were given a room that had two single beds joined together and outlooking munnar town. I booked a delux room with King Size bed, and not a double bed.. In addition to that, though the food were over priced, it sure was a hell of a treat. There is so much quality to the food that you can taste it. Pros1. Good location2. Good Amneties3. Great Staff4. Room heater inside roomCons1. Wi-Fi was not available inside room.2. The chairs in the balcony were plastic ones, which seemed years old3. Hot water only available from 10-6 ( both morning and afternoon )4. No Bathtub as shown in the pictures. 5. No valley view available from Balcony.The spot. The hotel is situated in the heart if Munnar Town and everything is visible from the top! The view from the balcony is one of the best you could get. The menu was limited due to the pandemic and tourists are incoming! Overall it is a beautiful place to stay with the traditional architecture everywhere!
