Location of this hotel is really awesome. But it lacks on amenities part, anyways cant complain about that in this budget. Temperature here is atleast 4 degrees below than what it is in munnar city because of its location on hills, so prepare accordingly.

Good 1 comparing the price. Ambience is cool. It is about13km from munnar. Road to room is very poor.If u r going, go before getting dark. Hospitality was gud.Rooms was very spacious, bt require more maintainance.

Firstly this place is situated roughly around 13km away from the Munnar Town.We just spent our weekend in an unusual waynto escape from the curfew. And we found this amazing budget friendly place. Although we dont recommend you to reach there at dark as it might feel a little scary and the growling breeze sounds for the first timers, especially for those who come by public transport. The beauty is seen at the morning. The place now managing by Mr. Selva and Mr. Shankar, are trying their level best to provide the hospitality to every guests that comes in. It is their services that keeps us stay comfortablly taking care of every single needs of the guests. Amazing service and the food they provide are the ones they cook by themself which is absolutely delicious for the ones who love minimal and homely taste.Pros.• Great View.• Good Food.• Great Service.Cons.• No fans ( it might get pretty hot in sunny day time.)• No hot water.( as it is run by solar)Suggestion for the Management• Should give proper guidelines and information about the location.• Should have a pick-up service.(especially for people travelling by public transport)• Should provide a little store or even vending machine at the property for buying essential goods or food items.• Should provide a map or pamphlet of the nearby location for the tourists to visit.• Please recruite more staff as the place might feel empty in the first view and also, they two are working hard to pull the ends together.Note for the tourist: Carry some food items and snacks with you while reaching as you cannot find any shops nearby.Once again thanks to Mr Selva and Mr Shankar for your humble and polite service.

It Was A Fabulous Stay In Tea Mount Suit,bison Valley. In This Covid Season It Will Be Very Safe And Peaceful Place To Stay At Low Budget When Camparing With Near Resorts.Also U Can Experiance The Extream level of Chilled Climate. Very poor Management and services, Breathtaking view n Location. Rooms and comman area are very unhygienic and poorly managed. Food is an absolute disaster. To be honest this place has all the potential but no effort, While the property right next door is Awesome n well managed with Good Staff n wonderful service and hygiene. We stayed here n ended up ordering and spending most of our time in the property right in front of them :) hope things improve soon !!

*** THIS PLACE HAS CHANGED ITS NAME, AND WITH IT MANAGED TO CLEAN ALL ITS PREVIOUS REVIEWS!!! *** I AM REPOSTING MY REVIEWAfter a couple of weeks travelling through India, we decided to head to Munnar for some quiet time away from the usual Indian urban hustle and bustle. The Tea Mount RESORT appeared as a safe choice for some much needed tranquility. It was when we started to prepare our trip towards the RESORT that the warning signs appeared. The RESORT is not situated 6 Kms away from Munnar, as Google maps seems to suggest. The property is 23 Kms from Munnar itself and it takes the best part of an hour to get there by tuk tuk, or 35-45 mins by car. The location pin has been moved because this fine establishment has negatively been affected due to road closures (7am to 6pm) linked to the construction project to widen the road that leads to it, from Munnar. This project has been going on for 2 years, and I find it appalling that this info is not available anywhere, booking.com, Airbnb, etc. Clients need to be made aware, as  this is an essential piece of info. We arrived at Munnar at around 3:30pm and had to wait in a cafe until 6pm to grab a cab and go to the property. For the standard of what is on offer it was way too overpriced, no attention to detail, poor finishes, sloppy service, dirty tableware, limited menu, rubbish around the property, etc. There were positives, the views from the room were superb, food was okay, the bed linen was clean and smelling fresh, and so were the towels provided, but that would be it, as far as positives go. There is nothing you can do within walking distance from the RESORT, so youre totally dependent on transport, but then again, the road closures will severely limit your options.

COME HERE IF YOU WANT THE VIEW AND NOTHING ELSE BECAUSE IT WONT BE PROVIDED TO YOU. I stayed here during my Christmas break and Id like provide full information to those planning to come and stay here. First of all theres no denying the view is spectacular! Absolutely breathtaking! Waking up to the sun rising right out of your window is just great! But you can help but wonder about the lost potential of the great location of the hotel because now I will tell you all that can be improved. The location is tedious to reach unless you have your own vehicle. This place has no WiFi and not so strong signal so internet will be a problem. The hotel very poorly maintained and the service is lazy at best. While the manager Selva truly tries his best, I dont know what the others are doing. Most of the times our orders were forgotten and never delivered. The food takes a long long time to reach and half the items in the menu are not available. That said the food that does arrive at your door tastes quite good. There was no hot water for the entire duration of my stay. There are no fans in any room which is sorely needed especially in the hot daytime sun (trust me, it gets unbelievably hot during the day, not just the room, Munnar in general). There is no phone in the room so you have to roam around the room searching for signal trying to call the guys. When youre tried to trying to call with no success, you go down to the reception where theres no one to be found. The people that come to this place are also slightly uncouth. Noisy all through the night so wouldnt recommend if youre looking for sophisticated crowd.Overall: absolutely breathtaking views (you wouldnt get such a view if you paid twice the amount at another hotel) but dont expect any other frills. Come here if you want the view and nothing else.
