Probably one of the best there is!Im saying this from the experience I have with Contabo for almost 3 years and 13 servers later.The support is always helpful and responsive so thumbs up for them as well.

One of the best provider amount the once I used, Fast, cheap, reliable and secure servers and hosting service, so does friendly and quick customer care!

Their servers perform quite well and have very competitive prices. When you reach the right person, the support is just wonderful. Overall experience with them is quite good. Some IPs were UCE3 banned, but as I check today, they seem to have solved the issue. If the blacklisting does not come back, I will rate them 5-star!

Unlucky I havent have chance to test the service due to additional verification of ID even for business type of service. I wasted time waiting for the service to be setup until i got explanation and refund.3-start because payment process shall be improvement. First because (business card failed to be proceed from mBank). Second because if you verify that card does not origin from country of tax id you can reject at additional confirmation to proceed with payment.

Price are fair enough.But after ordering VPS got IP that was already in Blacklist.It took two days to get in contact with support. And two more days to change IP. And it still was in Blacklist.Plus all VPS login credentials for ssh, vnc, plesk are send in plain text via email. And they call it high standards security.Only low prices was good on this hosting provider.

The big plus is that they have competitive prices and a variety of deployments and lately have introduced a number of different datacenters across Europe, Asia and America. They are using modern hardware and infrastructure and they provide a very decent internet connection. One star is removed because I think the overall support procedure and customer service can be improved. Overall I consider that Contabo is one of the leading IaaS companies exist outthere. It is worth to give them a chance!

Prices are extremely competitive. The onboarding was quite easy and I had access to my VPS in a very short time. That was the positive experience...Every once in a while, in total 3 times already for the month of July (I am writing this review on the 22nd of July) I lost access to my VPS during a remote session and I was not able to connect to it again. The VPS just shut down for whatever reason. The only solution was to restart it over the client interface. Unfortunately this VPS is very crucial and should not be restarted or be losing the connection so this service is not useful at all. The support is super slow, unresponsive, not helpful and super unfriendly.If you want to throw away some money than contabo is the right partner for you

I had a server for 2 weeks at Contabo an chose their service for their promise of 99% DDoS mitigation.Thats not true. I became a DDoS victim by a unknown source and the only thing Contabo did was disable my IP.They didnt come with an alternative solution to solve the issue.After three days Contabo shut down my server forever and I paid for three months and I wont get a refund because of the DDoS.Their promise of 99% DDoS mitigation is a lie and you should not trust it when you order a server.You will lose your money and your server when DDoSed.

I paid for months, and wanted to quit my account.Contbao didnt let me quit, and they sent Debt collectors to me via the goverment.Contabo is the worst host ever, and will never ever use them again.Cannot recommend them for anyone.

They have problems with hackers. Used to have a M VPS for some years. I used it to test and run python scripts. 99% without any internet traffic. Twice they told me that they had reports that my server attacked other sites. First time two years ago, I panicked and was trying to find what was wrong. Then they said that its ok and that the problem ended without me doing something. Second time is now. They sent me an email saying about the attack of my server to other sites, that I should respond to. I did respond but after a couple of days they suspended my account and wanted to get paid to bring it back up. Their excuse is possibly that I did not do something immediately. Some kind of action. Well....my time is not theirs. And I know that my VPS did not cause any problems because I actually did not do something like that. I consider this extremely unprofessional. Thank god I did not use that VPS for professional reasons. I had 3 VPS servers on Time4VPS and never had any similar problems. I am moving back to them. If you are a pro you should really think twice to get a VPS from Contabo, because all is well and five star reviews...until you have a problem with them. Then they go down to one star because of the way they handle issues. Customer does not come first. Money comes first for them.

What impressed me is the customer service. My server was set up in about 20min. and not 24hours as they said was the standard time. Before purchasing my first server I sent several emails to support to clear up some questions I had and they email support is so fast it more resembles a chat then email support. Theyre off to a really great start with this first server and were transfering one more to them in the next few days. Ill put up new comments once i complete a few months of service without problems.

Their website and customer portal interface is a bit dated and clunky, but they offer a great value for your buck and the support team is quite responsive. I wish I could do more things myself without contacting support, like ordering an additional public IP.
