There are many book shops for old and new books. One of these, the New and Secondhand Bookshops were established in 1905. Two cloth wholesale markets, Radical Jetha market and access to the Mangaldas Market, is the main textile market from Hanuman Alley in South Mumbai, which starts from Kalmadi Road. The market for Kapseshwar, near Bhuleshwar road, is the cotton exchange at the end of Kalbadevi.
