Nice hotel, located in a quiet square away from traffic and market noises of Mumbai city. Majority of the city sites are in a 10 min walking distance. Hotel has good guard and access procedures. Breakfast is served in a canteen of the neighbors hotel and is pretty good. There you can find European and Indian food. Rooms are large and well equipped (air condition, TV), bathroom also is good. The only remark is that hotel require some renovation especialy to furniture and doors. Manager and personnel is wery nice, every morning they bringing 2 bottles of drinkable water and local press. We had good experience with hotel manager who let us stay free in the room until departure to airport as a compensation of the water pipe work which were carried out two days in the row untill very late hours performed by the city authorities. Overall we received nice hospitality and pleasure while exploring city of Mumbai.

Best part is when you are at the breakfast the owner of the hotel Ms. Rachana comes to talk to you and too see if you are comfortable or to see if she can make our stay better. She was even kind enough to give us a free dish and discount for the in house cloud 9 restaurant and also gave us a complimentary lip-smacking cheese chilly toast.We have a wonderful and pleasant stay for 3 nights! I stayed with my family and booked a deluxe quadruple room.It is a nice old hotel with all basic amenities, i would surely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a good location at reasonable price.Hotel Taj and Gateway of India is at walking distance.You can book a book a cab for Nariman point and Chowpatty easily.Breakfast was nice and decent, as per budget.AC, Washroom, cleanliness is upto mark and staff is also very polite and helpful.

Great hotel, with good amenities such as courteous staff, very big rooms (in Mumbai, that too Colaba) and a hearty complimentary breakfast. We had to check out at 12 noon, but our train was at 10PM. The receptionist was understanding, and he let us stay in the room till 3PM, after which we could keep our bags in the lounge and rest in the Air-conditioned lounge. They also let us use their toilet before going to the station at 10PM. Thanks to Hotel Garden for making my stay a wonderful one!

I was there in Mumbai for our annual convention meet, must say the location was absolutely fabulous. It is very close to The Taj Palace and Gateway of India. The rooms are spacious with all modern amenities, we were welcomed with a warm smile everytime we enter the hotel. The elevator can accommodate very few people at a time. Gangesh and Rajesh from the Front Office were very Helpful. Highly recommeded to people who are looking for a stay in Mumbai and specially South Mumbai

Old constructed hotel, spaceous room with a decent location, located in the heart of Colaba and very close to most of the attractions around the area. The price was fairly decent but the facilities were very old and the lift actually hurt me on a specific incident. The staff is very courteous and friendly but and they were quick to help, yet this spoiler my existence overall.

Bad Hotel... Stayed for just 1 night it was too bad... First the lift was all rusted and very small... The Deluxe room was better as compared to standard but definitely it does not look like the pictures as shown... The bathroom was the worst... The passage that takes you to the rooms was not clean and too small... Never recommend to anyone....please search for better options... The breakfast is served in the other building on the 9th floor and the lift and building are worst. . Just imagine...breakfast was ok..nothing great...

I often travel and checkin to 2 to 3 start hotels. But this is the worst hotel ever I checked in so far. Horrible service, poor stuff behavior. Not value for money. Rooms are very small compared to said description. Key hole in the room, be careful guest. No courtesy. Stuffs are not educated enough to provide right dining arrangements.

The hotel might seem a bit overpriced, but the location of the hotel in the centre of Colaba makes up for it.The staff were courteous, well mannered and helpful. Although I got a check in only an hour late due to the late check out by the previous occupant, the hotel staff gave me accommodation in a temporary room.The rooms are good, clean and well maintained. The hotel also took care of my luggage after my check out, as I had a bus out of Mumbai only in the night.

Very polite and nice attitude from the staff, always ready to give a help or an extra attention; the place is more isolated from the traffic and in the same time is good located towards to the main places like Taj, the Gate of Mumbai, streets with lots of diversity of restaurants and so one.Good energy of this place overall and feeling good to be back again.

Hotel stay in general was decent, however, you may expect more attention to detail with regards to put everything required into the room like towels, etc as it is on the simple side. However, the final billing was a farce: wanting to charge 1. a amount which is higher than confirmed by the booking portal and 2. NOT deducting the upfront charge. Overall talked about 33% deviation and may in some cases gets unnoticed in first place given the complicated booking rules online and new taxation in India (which has been first comment from guy behind the counter). Finally insisting on tips given this kind of behaviour added to the overall bad impression of this place from my side. Long story short: if you decide to stay here beware of the billing and be prepared to remind of simple services missed out. Location however is ok.

The location is excellent, there are other few hotels in the same lane, but they are quite expensive as compared to this hotel. The breakfast was provided in the next building, it seems to be their hotel only. Overall a very Happy Experience.

I wouldnt stay here again. The bed was clean but that was it. Theres a faint urine smell in the bathroom and visible dirt on the walls. I feel cheated by the pictures that were put up. The worst thing is how damp to room is; for example we showered in the evening and then went out the whole next day and the condensation on the mirror had not dried by the time we were back. The bed damp, the towels were damp, all my clothes are now damp. The staff here are very friendly however but this is now the second treebo hotel Ive stayed and been horribly dissapears in both. This chain will never get my custom again. Not very good.
