You can have peaceful Darshan from 6am to 12pm and again from 4pm to 9 pm. No need to pay any money to anyone. Buying flowers coconut, til oil, pan leaves etc is optional.there are benches for sitting in the portico .there are deities of Sri ram & family, Sri hanuman, shivling , ambematha, sithalamatha, Sri ganesh , radha Krishna and dattareya. It is situated near the junction of SV& JP road near andheri west railway station. There are many shopping centres,markets and restaurants nearby.state bus, autos , train and metro rail available.

This very old Ram mandir, since more than 60 years old, on JP Rd. Small but very nice, on Saturday we are going to pray to Shree Ram,Laxman, janki and Hanumanji darshan and aarti.

Andheri ram mandir at j p road

Ram Mandir at Andheri West is within walking distance of Andheri station, though a bit far to walk from Azad Nagar Metro Station. One of the oldest temples in Andheri, it enshrines all the chief deities including Dattatreya. Ayurveda products are sold in a shop just behind the Temple. There is a large crowd on Saturdays and other days of significance of Shani. All the offerings given to Shani can be conveniently bought at the entrance. The largest representation is of Hanuman; there are separate small and large sanctums for Ram Darbar, Durga, Shiva and Nandi, and Ganapati. Coconut half-kernels are sold at low prices to the poor and stationery books are given away on occasion. The temple is well-attended and the devotees hail from an unpretentious to middle-class background. Sometimes we see groups singing bhajans in front of their Gurus photo. As you move around in the area, you get an exposure to old-world Mumbai with the hustle-bustle of vehicles, sulky to elegant (!!) beggars, people, peddlars, shops choc-a-bloc with old-world life-style goodies and buildings which house chawls, commercial establishments, all in the middle of a market which seems to have been there forever! You get a strange culture shock after moving from areas which have seen massive make-overs and redevelopment, for Time seems to have stood still here.
