I have searched for a number of good domain providers for clients and found BigRock. I heard about them previously, but at the time knew very little about their offerings. I purchased the basic plan of shared hosting and several domains to start blogging for clients (got .BLOG for the same). So far so good with support and availability. There could be more features and the DIY interface when it comes to websites could be more interesting when I compare it to most other players, but in the end, its a thumbs up from me. I recommend it.

In 2018 I wanted to start my own company and as it turned out, since I wanted a store in the US, India, and the UK., (online presence) I thought of getting separate domains, but BigRock rightly advised me to go for a .COM and see how things work. In the long run, it was a good idea to do so, with a .IN also since I wanted to cater to local markets. Their advice really helped me purchase and now make the most of the right domain names.

Ive purchased many hosting packages and domains from multiple services. BigRock is by far the worst known hosting provider. Their basic plans dont have any speed at all, they tell you to setup CDN or buy a higher plan. Chat support is fine, most of technical problems get sorted fairly quickly but sometimes you have to wait endlessly. They have absolutely no support for detailed problems. If you mail them, they never revert. They only solve problems in a very templated manner, so if youre doing something wrong theyll point you to the right direction but if you know your stuff and something is broken, good luck getting them to fix. Site load speed for shared hosting plans is terrible, their servers serve images in 10 minutes sometimes even after compression. Avoid if possible.

Highly disappointed with : 1) The website builder tool that i have purchased over 6 years now. It has always been working dead slow with many glitches so i had stopped updating it just thinking you cannot get anything better for this amount. But now during my renewal again I decided to check if it has improvements, I found that on hyperlinking the third file each time, you get a msg server hangup. That means one needs to type a file name, then hyperlink it and immediately save it . If you dont do this then all your work is erased and you start doing it all over again.Trust me i have done this process for thousands of files on my site! Frustrating it is. I am sure none of the technical team members ever try and check if it really works.Also the upload speed is dead slow. To top it all up, i noticed that they have now started masking file names by some garbage words. This means it defeats the purpose of uploading pdfs to the site. Infact i had retained the subscription coz my urls were visible and it helped me in the ranking. The technical person said that this change cant be undone!. So when we purchased the plan , the feature existed, now its taken off. Arent there better means than masking file names? Would bigrock do it for their own files and folders too? I have my hosting from bigrock for other sites too and have been a loyal customer for years now. But it seems that they are not working on the technical part .The website builder tool is completely ignored with no improvements since past 6 years now. The customer care is amazing no doubt, But technical support , like i read in some of the earlier comments is not satisfactory. In first attempt i got failure error , I again tried renewing my domain still got a failure issue. Then after a few hours got notified that your domain is renewed for two years. This is like being scammed and the executives say you wont be refunded and the domain is renewed for two years. They will not regret if our backup or files disappears. They will simply say we cannot do anything. They will not indicate that which server keep backup. They never bother to explain difference between cloud USA and India server or other.I am Bigrock’s customer from last 5 years. I can say they are not good or fit to Startup ecosystem. I will recommend Interserver.com, Siteguard.com or Godaady is also another option.

I had purchased reseller hosting for a development server. But when we build project/website it was blocking our public IP address. So we had to chat with big rock technical support team.After multiple follow up with their technical team they are not able to fix the issue.I have asked for a refund and its more than 10 days still I havent received a refund .Disappointed with the support and billing team. Worst technical support! I would not recommend you to host your website on Bigrock.In past I faced email issues, and they were unable to resolve my issues. Now. email quota is full messages comes when email is sent. I have unlimited hosting plan for signal domain but they have said unlimited means only 10 GB space. Anyways, this is not the issue. When I tried to delete email from bigrock cPanel by using a filter Delete 1 year old and more emails. it says success but email space quota doesnt increase. I raised a ticked and ask about it , why this is not working. They took my 1 hour, say try again, try again let me check and finally they said you deleted your emails manually. They dont have answer for why this feature is not working. Now, I realized cheap means cheap, Please stay away from this company.

Using bigrock since 2009 and i am really proud customer of bigrock. i have multiple domain and email and website hosting on bigrock and it works with the charms. their billing method is like our old ledger system and i think they need to improve their billing part. else i had no issue with them so far.if you ask me one solid reason to use bigrock for DIYwebsite than it is for their SEO. even dummy can bring diy website on google first page with bigrock and on this matter other hosting definitely can not compete bigrock for same platformfor customer care is bit tricky as their representative are not upto mark or less knowledgeable but for everyday work it dont make much impact if you have experience.
