Had been there yesterday, with friends as we wer late so sitting was not allowed after 10pm they served us outside in parcel plates, food is awesome at jai jawan , this is the andheri west branch, Must try Fish Fry and Prawns Fry, we also had butter chicken which was awesome. They dont have much of sitting place. If you wanna enjoy sitting then you should vist their khar branch. Overall food is always awesome at JJ express (jai jawan).

I still remember eating in there Bandra takeout joint with friends & still we are loyal customers of this place since last 15 years.this place is famous for there tandoori items.we often order chicken prawns biryani,prawns tandoori and chicken tandoori.the quality is maintained over many years.the taste & quantity of prawns biryani is good.the place is clean also the kitchen is maintaining good hygiene condition.highly recommended

This joint is famous for Fish & Prawns. This is now at same place where Jafar Bhai was there before. Fish & Prawns are really fresh always & yummy at taste. You may have just Prawns & Fish as your main course also. With Pudina chutney is super combination.

The food here is absolutely delicious. The prawns koliwada is a must have. I also tried the chicken bajara which succulent. The rotis were fresh and I asked for butter garlic nan which went absolutely well with the chicken gravy. The service was quick and nice. They have basic desserts that they offer as well out of which the caramel custard was yummy. It was quite crowded because i went during the weekend but the place is a food paradise.

4 june 2021 - Very poor customer service - they took 2 hours to deliver my order which is 15 minutes away. On top of that, the food items delivered were incorrect. The branch manager is very rude and uncooperative - He said he’ll give us complementary food but refused later on.HOPE this one honest review HELPS the readers!

Must tries, fish fry, prawns fry, tadori fish, dal makhani with lachedaar parotha. You cannot find better taste than this, atleast in mumbai.

One of the best places for take away ... fish tandoori is highly recommended here and if you like spicy chicken then chicken angara either rumali roti will also be a great choice for you. Make your own roll with rumali roti, onions and chutnee and chicken banjara. Yummy food! Happy eating

Its a nice place.Ambience is not what you should expect here.Food is good.Mutton do tell the person and check before eating.Twice Ive experienced under cooked mutton.Fish is good too, they fail to sometimes maintain the flavour and the salt on it.Needs more work.The fish is fresh which is what I liked.Youll not get that smell which people hate.Its good and hygienic.

Awesome street food. They serve some really good chicken, mutton and fish. Even though its on the street it is pretty clean. Service is good. It is a little expensive for street food but the taste and quality covers it. They also have car service and it can get really crowded late evenings and weekends.

The Rolls are a hit and miss some times. The fish fry and fried prawns are always nice and tasty. Chicken tandoori is really juicy and the kids will definitely relish it.Drawback: there is almost no place to sit and eat, its a pure take away joint even though they put few stools where U can sit and eat.Top Tip - if you got post 9:30 PM on a week day the No Parking boards would have been moved away so you can park right outside the place.

Very tasty and mouthwatering food served with an excellent green chutney. The chutney and the cut onion is the main taste which fills the mouth with great taste. The fish fry is also very delicious and very nutritious which is also a signature dish of J.J. Express. It also serves scrumptious Chicken Banjara which will create waterfalls in your mouth.

Everything here is really good with the taste/quality being consistently maintained. Koliwada prawns are a must have. This place being open till recently late is great to grab a bite when you leave the house for a late night drive. Practically no seating area. Either stand or eat in your car. Getting parking is tricky on weekends.

Its a small unpretentious place (no table cloths type) but the food is amazing. The rawas fry and prawns fry are the best. Palak paneer and tandoori roti was also excellent. No frills. Great taste!

Jai Jawan Bandra is very famous for its non veg food. I had never had the opportunity to try the food there even after being in the same vicinity.Didnt know they have a branch in Andheri, so while browsing through Zomato for dinner places, came across this and decided to visit.It was a very casual meet between me and bestie. After some catching up over coffee, we decided to go here for our dinner.There is valet parking here, which is the best part.They have an outside and inside seating both. We were sitting outside and there were fans too so was not feeling hot.What we ordered..Tandoori Chicken - After a long time I have enjoyed Tandoori Chicken. Properly cooked chicken, perfect tandoor flavor. But I found the chicken was not marinated well. There was less masala on the inside. So once the outer layer was done eating, the inside layer felt very bland.**Pls improve on this **Butter Chicken - Love, love, love the butter chicken here. Soft pieces of chicken in creamy, buttery gravy. Just perfect. Had it with Butter Roomali Roti and I was in butter chicken heaven.Caramel Custard - Soft, caramel custard, very fresh. Loved it.Matka Rabdi - Very creamy, very very tasty. Amazing.This is my favorite place now for butter chicken. Been craving it all the time.

Qunatity is very less according to the price charged. And I mean very lessss. Quality is pathetic honestly. It seems like they dont care about customer or their experience and just want to draw out money from their pocket. I ordered Tikka masala gravy and the gravy was very less for two people. A gravy worth 300 bucks cant fill 2 people up. And the butter chicken was sweet like a dessert . Butter chicken is usually sweet but this one was like dessert sweet. Mithai lag rahi thi. Very disappointed with the quality and quantity.

I have always been a big fan of JJs tandoori chk.have been ordering here frm the past 10 yrs.But this week when I ordered tandoori chk,(lokhandwala branch)it was like eating a packet of salt.The masala was raw and the chk also was not cooked well.Moreover when I called to ask if they can change it,they said that nothing can be done.They dint even have the decency of taking back the unopened packet and returning the amt.So this is the end of me and my family being a fan of JJ

Good place to hangout with friends and share non veg food quantity wise.. they give about 8 pieces in their tikka kebab dishes. koliwada fry dishes are speciality.Although their koliwada prawns is way too high price wise (₹1400/- kg.) and not as tasty as other preparations.Theyve ac and non ac outside seating where its fun to sit in the evening rather than inside the ac.Waiter service is satisfactory.
