I would say that my stay was not pleasant. Wall is very thin so I could hear TV from room next to mine. Also, wifi keeps disconnecting every 15-20 minutes due to router failure.I think this hotel needs renovation.I would have given 1 star but hotel staffs were nice so added an extra star.
Very great property, convenient location and great staff. My hotel room was really nice for the price. However, it was strange for a 4 star hotel to charge 500 yen to use the onsen PER DAY. The onsen didnt have a lounge area with drinks, as most do and charged to use the massage chair. The baths were also not the best, ok enough but nothing special. Also the rooftop bar/restaurant closes at 10pm...which is a bit early to me.
Absolutely loved this hotel. I had booked through a local Japanese hotel site and was cheap. The rooms were large and very spacious. The view was nice and uninterrupted. I really liked the interior design with a massive atrium and is hollow right to the very top at the ceiling. Staff was helpful in getting a box delivered back to Tokyo.
West side of main area but still not but place
Pros: Spacious rooms, respectful staff, circular hotel/elevator design, onsen, close proximity to parks and daily room cleaning (such requests can be done with a button at the door front). Also, transport is available to and from Sapporo station (reservation is required for use until 12pm, afterwards no reservation is required).Cons: A separate fee is needed to access the onsen and breakfast (buffet). The onsen seems to be a makeshift pool, the mineral content is not as high as the usual onsen(s) I’m familiar with.
The hotel is a mix between Japanese business hotel and international brand hotel. Its a great hotel for the price and would highly recommend staying if you can get the right price - I stayed on a Wednesday in mid March and got breakfast, hot spring and superior double room for 9500 yen which honestly is a fantastic price for what you get. There are some packages for 7000 yen room only which is also amazing. The hot spring is not that amazing and wouldnt recommend paying for if not included in costs, same goes for breakfast - for 2700 yen its definitely not worth it, quality is quite poor and really feels like a low end supermarket food court with people everywhere.I was on the 15f and the views were nice and the room is decent size as well as the bathroom.Again for the price you cant go wrong picking this hotel if in sapporo.
Clean and good service hotel. Stayed with family using the Royal floor which was spacious and clean. Staying at Royal floor with breakfast option provided to for French breakfast with great view. With paying some more for family travel. Also provided access to sauna unlimited times which was good benefit given that Sapporo is famous for hot spring.
Wonderful dinner buffet. Wish we couldve stayed & experienced the hotel, but our tour group booked elsewhere. Perhaps, when were independent travelers. Looks like a fabulous hotel.
Fantastic city centre hotel. Great staff, friendly professional and charming. Also a very comfortable hotel with excellent beds.
Airport bus takes you right to the hotel doorstep, very convenient. Within walking distance to the shopping street. Free shuttle bus to Sapporo train station, get a queue nbr fm front desk 1 hr before bus departure time. Very helpful staff. Didn’t use the breakfast and onsen, will try next time. Will definitely come back again with family. ????
When on breakfast time many tourist took all the shrimps. Almost feel like war.SPA is very clean but small. You can use it by paying 500Yen all day.But try to remember evening to next morning is one day, not morning to evening. Hotel dont explane this details.
The location is good. Located in pretty much the middle of the city. The staff is wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The restaurants are also good. The evening view is breathtaking from the top floor!
I have only the utmost praise for this hotel and I thoroughly loved my stay here. The location was pretty good. We always felt safe walking around the downtown area after dark. Great shops for getting some last minute items. The shower has got to be the best hotel shower ever.
A store for any extras and souvenirs etc on site which all makes for a wonderful hotel. Drinks are offered at reasonable prices and the view is free of charge. The hotel room itself was not very big. Recommend having breakfast in the bakery in the ground floor which serves a good sized breakie.
Fantastic service with impressive rooms. Also has an indoor and outdoor onsen. If the hotel is looking to improve something I would suggest a minor renovation of the onsen bathing areas to make them more presentable and immersive.
Generally there was signage with instructions in English for the most important things during the stay. The size of the rooms are great. The room was a pleasant surprise. People working in the hotel are very kind and helpful. All staff whom I have interacted with have adequate com***d of English.
A reasonable but comfortable city hotel. The hotel has an authentic hot spring and I love it. Of course it has French restaurant, Chinese restaurant, steak shop, cafe, and bar. Staying in the upper floor rooms, you can see the wonderful night view is Sapporo.
Comfortable hotel with very friendly staff, good bar and restaurants. Nice and comfortable room.
Hotel is located about 10, 15 mins walk to Tanukikoji shopping street where you can find ***y shops and eateries. Not in the center of town but fairly accessible. The service as always in Japan is personal, discrete and detailed. Will consider to stay here again the next time I visit Sapporo.
One of the best hotels Ive stayed in my whole life. Beautiful. Clean. Great food. Superbe service. Great location and so on....
A unique building especially inside....worth spending one night
A convienent hotel at a reasonable price. However it no longer deserves its 5 star rating with aged furnishing and decor. The interior requires a dramatic refresh and should stop charing for its subpar services. The premium charged onsen is of particular aggrevance as it is a significant dissapointment even in comparison to other less reputable hotels. We all had higher expectations.
The room is too small for 3 check in. Breakfast is yummy.
Limousine bus took a long 1.5hrs but overall location average.Convenient store right opposite, near to odori park and 10min to underground.A few eateries towards the town centre.Good breakfast and excellent service.Onsen is average.
The room is bigger then the last time. Twin rooms: Room-size is quite good by Japanese standards. Staff is very helpful and polite. In the morning the restaurant in the hotel was crowded with ***y hotel guests who were made a long line in the outside of the restaurant door for breakfast. Breakfast can be crowded.
We stayed for one night in a recently renewed room. The hotel staff were very friendly and check in was a breeze. Location was good with quick access to Susukino. The room itself and bathroom were very clean and good quality. We ended up having a view to Mount Moiwa which was great. We were most surprised that for free we could use a smartphone type portable device called Handy that provided free internet access and telephone. We used it while out and about to supplement our existing pocket wifi. Overall very good stay and definitely recommend.
Room size is quite small. Shuttle bus to Sapporo JR station is good especially travel with kids but please make sure to grab a free ticket at front desk in advance.
Nice hotel, good customer service and deliciousfood. Great location for a wedding reception
I was very disappointed. Tons of Chinese tourists overrun the place. The staff isn’t very kind and seem to go through the motions without any warmth. Throughout our stay the staff treated us like children about to do something wrong. WTF.The rooms are OK, though old style 80’s Japan. There was some problem with the air conditioning our room was stifling hot and dry and we had to beg to get a fan.Sapporo during snow festival is very packed, so we can’t always expect to get a good hotel, but I’m certain to avoid this one if/when we come back.
Service is great; rooms have no air circulation (no AC in winter / window vent does not allow air flow) so room is HOT. sake at the 28th floor bar is very good but the other food/drink is extremely overpriced. beautiful views of the city and mountains!
Great stay at the Sapporo Prince Hotel. Decided to stay here as we took the Chuo bus and the pick up is right outside. Easy to catch bus to hotel from CTS and to Niseko.Walking distance to ramen alley and Sapporo station. Onsen is nice and we were given vouchers for free access upon checkin. Lawson across the street for snacks and drinks.Comfortable beds, but issues with wifi on android phones (2nd verification issue). The hotel provides a handy phone that you can use during your stay for wifi and maps.
Sapporo prince hotel is considered as one of the biggest hotel in the city of Sapporo. Theres many restaurant and bar inside, also located near the subway station and some shops. Easy to go the other places. But the weak point is that the nearest station is Nishi 11 choume, which is a bit difficult to go to the other tourist destination.
It was very clean, kind, nice view, comfortable bed, good breakfast.
The rooms are clean and with beautiful views!
As we were travelling as a group, I did not use the onsen but generally the staff are very helpful even though English is not a common language as mentioned. Recommend you rent a bike (from the front desk) and cruise around the neighborhood. We will surely come back.
Its a good experience. Also big baseball teams were here. Not bad etall
All 3 meals are good. Rooms and hotel are clean.
Great serviceRooms kinda small but acceptableI dont give 5 stars because nobodys perfect
The hotel is at a convenient location and there is a shuttle bus to and from JR Sapporo station.
Very nice view from the restaurant at the top.
Very modern and western style hotel. Loved it
Nice place to take rest. But be careful of the bus stop location. Chuo bus stop has been changed.
Excellent hotel with very nice SPA area, beautiful view, delicious food and friendly staff.
We processed our car rental here. Very nice staff to help us!
Great price, location and staff.
Large breakfast selection and spacious rooms.
Location was good. Ambience was good too.
Clean , nice and reasonable price.
Rooms are nice size and clean. Food could be better.
Rooms are not so big but hotel location is not too far from food and shopping areas.
Exciting, nice hotel with gorgeous panorama view.

Its a little far from central Sapporo, but its quiet. There were plenty of amenities in the room, including masks and disinfectant sheets. At the hot spring facility on the 2nd floor, you can check the congestion status on the TV in the room. In addition, since it is necessary to confirm the card key, create documents (only for the first time), and hand over the towel and locker key, there may be a line. The shop on the 1st floor is open from 8:00 to 20:00 and has a small convenience store assortment. Alcohol is not sold at the vending machines in the hotel, so it is recommended to procure it here.
We used the Superior Twin Room on the 20th floor where you can see Mt. Moiwa. It was clean and well-cleaned, and I was able to stay comfortably. There were 100 convenience stores across the road.It was less than 10 minutes on foot to Tanukikoji, and it was convenient to walk to Odori Park and Susukino intersection. There is also a shuttle bus that goes back and forth to Sapporo Station, and it seemed easy to move from JR.There is a partner Times parking lot in the basement, and it was parked at 1,500 yen / night. If you want to put it in and out on the way, you can handle it by completing the procedure at the front desk.I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
It is a well-established hotel with measures against corona. After cleaning the room, a sticker like the one in the picture is stuck on the outside of the entrance door, so you can see at a glance that no one is in the room after cleaning. Of course, the cleaning is very clean. The rooms are large and although it is a unit bath, the space is quite large and you will not hit your elbows when you take off your clothes.Breakfast was buffet at the restaurant on the 1st floor. The homepage says that the buffet is closed, but it seems to be a buffet on weekends. It is hygienic because it is a style of taking small bowls that have been divided into small pieces. The hotel staff will take care of rice, miso soup, and some dishes. Every dish had a satisfying taste. The minus points of this hotel are that it is a little far from the downtown area and that you can hear the voice in the corridor.I would like the door to have a slightly higher soundproofing ability. Well, even so, there arent many people talking in the corridor, so it may not be a problem. The sound in the next room was almost unheard of.It was my second stay, but I was able to spend it comfortably this time as well.
I think its better to do something about the western doorway.Ive been mistaken for an adult delivery reservation customer several times here (bitter smile)Other than that, the room and breakfast are very normal.
伝統的なハイグレードホテルといった趣です。朝食に北海道のローカル食材があったりして楽しめました。
Corona measures were perfect. The area around the front was always disinfected.
