This people are so worst I hv evr seen in my life..Just to say doctors r highly qualified but dont know how to speak at all. No manners, I was their for my c section surgery nd after surgery for almost 5 hrs up I was kept without giving any medication nd I was just crying with pain when my mom told to nurse abt the same they r just like we know how to do nd stuff... As my iv was out on nxt day same in morning they didnt gave me any medicines when told they said my iv is out so they r not giving when same informed to doctor she directly told ur patient will not die if not had medicine for single day.. this is how they treat patients. Worst service.. I will suggest nvr to go their.. now due to that even my suture are getting worse and pus is getting out of that after removal of suture.so bad service .

I have been working at Seth G. S. Medical College & K. E. M. Hospital in Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics, since the past 11 years. This college has been a part of my positive professional growth. Sometimes the schedules become extremely hectic. But overall, our Department is one of the best in India. Regarding patient care, KEM hospital offers good CoVID & non-CoVID treatments by experienced doctors. Overall, the twin institutes provide good undergraduate & postgraduate medical training in different subjects as well as professional medical treatment to patients.

Tbh it was a nightmare to be here at KEM, the doctors here are very impolite and so is the staff, it was horrible looking at doctors themselves were not following the safety measures! I saw a senior resident trying to place a CVC and he couldnt get the right spot so he kept trying it so hard, he was then called by some other doctor so he left the catheter on the table and splashed the blood on the window and came back after couple of minutes and stared to use the same needle which was lying open on a non sterile surface for some while!I took my patient at night to KEM and he needed to be dialysed immediately and was on a NIV with a huge fluid overload at that time the patient was so bad that he could of crashed anytime! And at that moment the resident goes like dude its a government hospital the patient wont be dialysed, its a slow game here, wait for tomorrow morning and maybe the patient will get a time allotted for the dialysis session...and the tomorrow morning turns out to be the next day evening, idk how but by gods grace the patient tolerated till thenNow I was in the wards with my patients in the night and there was this lady who was not doing that well and there was just a junior doctors in the wards and out of sudden the lady gets irresponsive the junior doctors then starts the compression and she was all alone left with the lady, The doctor tried the best that she could, she being the only one doing compression, the one intubating and the one Getting the settings done on the ventilator it was scary looking at the only doctor doing so much at onceMy patient happens to be a case of HTN, ESRF, post Covid, and being on MHD and because of Covid hitting the patient so hard the patient was hooked up to oxygen even after being negative for 6months and still had an infection in his lung but wasnt Covid but another organism, my patients was in a very poor conditionWe were also being horribly misdiagnosed, a senior doctor asked to run TB test for the sputum and pleural fluid and they came back negative for MTB for 4times! But she said No its still TB as an infection cause the patient has also lost some weight. And later that week another senior resident comes over and says hey Im a medicine doctor whats going on I said hey sir this is the my patient and this is the history of the patient and we plan onto the patients transplant but we here just to get rid of the infection that he has in his lungs...then He looks to the CT film and say hey okay so hes got most of his lungs fribrosed and now hes on oxygen and on MHD and thats it that gonna be the patients life theyre nothing can be done, not even transplant so forget about it, bed ridden. and he walks away without even trying to find out what exactly the infection is, And my patients never had fibrosis but it was consolidation and it was never TB but another organism. It was really sad to see all if these doctors being so irresponsibleWe later took the patient to some other facility and by gods grace my patient received proper healthcare and was diagnosed exactly and was treated accordingly and finally he was able to breathe on his own and was good to go for transplant and live a way better life.I do not, at all blame the Doctors neither do I blame KEM for our bad experience because I know these government hospitals aint bad places its just that they are really really overwhelmed with everything, they are just flooded with ppl and they aint just capable for serving patients right.
