Yesterday, l have purchased 8 packets of talod handwa. By checking one packet price and expiry date (11/12/2020), l told him to give 8 fresh packets.But, taking advantage of rush hour in shop, the shopkeeper gave 4 fresh packet and other 4packets with holes in it (damaged condition) and having expiry date of 14/09/2020. It means all 4packets need to be use within one week from today.This is a classic example how Kirana stores like Janta stores dupe and cheat their customer and clear their stock which are not sold during lockdown.Be aware ..Be Careful !!

Absolutely worst... Please do not buy from this store. We had bought wheat and chana daal in may 21 from which were getting a bad smell and we asked to change it. And they deny it stating it is our fault and we will not replace it. And they say keep this bad quality with your self and do whatever you want to do but we will not give new daal. This happend for wheat as well. It was a very bad experience. Will never buy from this store henceforth and not recommend anyone.

Jantas staff is very rude.. They have attitude like a upper hand on us. Recently when I purchased pulses and when soaked them in water I saw black dots which on opening them I saw worms..They need to enhance their quality and improve their staff and teach them to be patient. They are not donating us, they should keep this in their mind.

Very popular grocery store in Borivali. Very systematic and organized staff equipped with tablets for order collection and billing.However they dont encourage digital payments. Usually people end up paying cash for which one may have to spend some time in queues as there is just one payment counter.

Janta store borivali. Gave order 7 days back and sent payment confirmation message immediately. Ddaily following some girl talks and every time promoisses next day delivery but does not come. Spoken to Amir today and also spoken to Nishant. Hiren the owner does not come on line not does any one give his number. If u are not able to deliver why not refund back the amount rather than fooling people. Also earlier big order replacement what was promised more than 2 weeks of salso pending. U have lost the quality service. Stop harressing and wrong commitments. Were promoters are not available to talk means cheater attitude... Amir can post sorry message and fool on social media.. Ur products are poor qlty and old stock and sorry to say u have lost old charm..

Janata stores is very old.. but i find them bit rude in their words not cooperating as they were before... humble request to janta store to co operate and be genuine with the words... and learn to trust the old customers pls its a humble request... otherwise everything is good because of mistrust on customer we are not happy nd comfortable coming or giving order also. Previous time also this delivery boy harassed us..every time bad delivery..sad too see such behavior from your home delivery boy... Extremely bad experience. The quality of wheat which they supplied was significantly poor. As an addendum, they added unnecessarily high amount of oil in that wheat which completely spoiled the grains and I had to throw all the grains which is eventually a loss of money, time and energy. I request customers who are reading this to please not buy any kind of goods from that shop because my experience has always been worse.

One noticeable thing is their response time has improved.But all the Good reviews and Star ratings have made them.lose customer focus. While ordering 30kgs Rice, a simple request of applying Boric Powder was turned down stating that they will apply only to 25Kgs as that is one Jute Bag full. For the balance 5Kgs they denied and disconnected the phone. This too to a regular customer who has given them good review in the past.

This shop is doing business since long , at least since 35-40 yrs. Its a traditional kirana shop which offers grains, oils, all kinds of groceries. The grains are of good quality and clean. Since the shop is very close to the station and is on the busiest road one can not even think of parking the car to load your purchases.During Diwali they have maddening rush. The staff is Gujrati and some of them dont understand even Hindi. Yes sometimes they do behave rude. In the afternoon they are closed for lunch. So call before going.They do accept major credit cards.
