The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at a Gorgeous building and a iconic address @ gateway of India.The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing and very hospitable. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I will highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtownI had a wonderful experience. Every staff member I encountered was very hospitable, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! They were extremely accommodating and allowed us smooth check in.I have stayed a dozen of hotels, this tops the list of best stays/experiences ever. Overall, I had a great experience celebrating my spouse`s birthday.

People right at the porch, front desk to IRD are all praise worthy. I checked in on a weekday and found less chaos around. Check in was super quick and my luggage reached my room in no time. I had booked myself for a sea view room and it looked over Gateway of India. The room was spacious and was so the balcony. It had all the amenities that you might need in your stay and whatever wasn’t kept in the room was available on request. They have started doing away with plastic water bottle and keep fresh water from their water plant in rooms in glass bottles. Forest essential products are used in the bathroom. A personal safety kit (gloves,mask,sanitizer) is kept on your table. Breakfast had decent options to choose from and IRD was almost on time (within 30-35mins) with food. Concierge was helpful in directing me during COVID of what could I do and could not. Taxis are a click away because of it’s location. Colaba causeway, marine drive are pretty close. Airport is 45-60 mins away depending on traffic. It was worth the money I paid.

Very good hotel and very good services. the food quality was very good. only Airtel connectivity was a issue.very comfortable, food is also delicious. very supportive staff. many shops inside the hotel itself for purchasing. best by gate way of India for morning walk. sea view from front side rooms. different resturents. overall quite place. very good speed of Wi-Fi to do your work fast. the mobile network was poor specially Airtel.

Although I had traveled since the onset of Pandemic, for work, across the globe, but definitely needed a proper vacation. Even on being fully vaccinated, there is a hesitancy to travel for leisure. So we decided, why not stay at this wonderful place and for me, live my childhood memories of roaming around that part of Bombay with my father in the early 90s. And right from the start, did not regret that choice! Right from the check-in, where Pallabi greeted us, to having being given a wonderful room and the wonderful staff at the hotel, where during our week-long stay, we were looked after extremely well. Which also made us extend our stay by a day more. Thank you for making it a wonderful week for us. Can recall a few names who played their part in making it so - Eve, Shraddha, Prashant, and all the staff at Shamiana, The reception, and everywhere else at the hotel. Have stayed at so many business and luxury properties, but the Taj experience will stay with us for a long time due to its courteous staff. Cant wait to be back, whenever that may be.

Amazing stay experience!!! Though I have had staying experience at multiple 5 star hotels in various countries, the stay here is absolutely scintillating and had been a great one cherished by my family as well. If you are in Mumbai and still wanting to get a stay experience, stay at this hotel once which will give you an amazing feeling which you can cherish for your lifetime. Its worth every penny you pay. Look for weekday offers as the weekends are really crowded and deals are pricey. You should opt for a breakfast inclusive package and experience the massive and lavish spread of breakfast menu which is never ending. The portions of the live from counter dishes are small enough, which is a brilliant idea, not to waste and taste more dishes. Staff are so kind and the service is excellent. Again, its a Tata promised service which can be blindly believed.

Absolutely stunning location and ambiance of the Taj tower. had a great time bonding with family. Had a much-needed break from routine. also, the kids welcomed the short break from covid lockdown. Our room had Gateway of India just across the balcony with a breathtaking view of the Arabian sea. Hotel employees are all following covid guidelines of distancing and hygiene. Breakfast was awesome with mix of Indian and continental food. special mention of Mr. Bhavin at Aquarius restaurant. Staff was very helpful while checking in. Checking out was smooth and hassle-free. Car was well looked after and had been sanitized also. All in all a great weekend at Taj. looking forward to coming back again and again.

Heritage hotel. Iconic views. Seedy, but interesting, neighbourhood.

Stay was good but felt more like a tourist place. Breakfast was not that great but more variety for Vegetarians. Well maintained and clean. Staff r extremely good and helpful.

Predictably courteous service and pandemic appropriate behaviour but the customers could follow social distancing better. The staff themselves were following all protocols and a thoughtful staff at reception even provided complimentary decor because we had a birthday in the family. Very happy with them as usual.

The view from the Superior Sea view room is awesome. The hospitality is great. However dont go for corner room as they are smaller than the rest of the rooms. Also, if you want a heritage feel, book Taj Mahal Palace instead of Taj Mahal Tower. There is a lot of difference in the interiors of both the hotels.

I always wanted to stay at this hotel. The hotel is an iconic and its a pleasure to stay here. Amazingly clean and very cooperative staff. The sanitization was well maintained with staffs wearing masks and gloves. Also the meals provided was good.

Never been inside. Have always seen the huge Taj Mahal Tower from the outside. It looks posh and elegant. The architecture is amazing. The domes at the top look totally royal. The inside must be equally amazing looking at the building from outside I surely can say that. Lets see when I get a chance to go in.

It is hard to understate how amazing a hotel this is. The service, attention to detail, and history are unmatched. The intersection of new and old is organic. It is a raft of calm in a sea of chaos.

Yesterday night we group of six (3 guys and 3 girls) went to Taj around 3am and requested them to allow us to use restroom as there were no public convenience open around. The guard went inside to ask and he came up with answer - Only girls will be allowed to use. We were even ready to use restaurant services so that we can pay but they denied. Are they serious? Is this the hospitality they provide to us? I am totally annoyed by their behavior. Its so inhuman.

It was great experience staying in Mumbais iconic and heritage 5 star hotel. All staff members are polite and helpful. The room was specious, neat, clean and with all necessary amenities. The room had city view as well as partial sea view which was good. The buffet lunch in Crystal restaurant was good particularly starters, however veg main course was disappointing. Also dinner in Masala Kraft was a complete disappointment. The choice of items was very limited and food was not tasty. Breakfast spread was very good and tasty. Overall a good experience.

Out of the world experience. The stay was just phenomenal and the food was worth every penny. We dined at Shamiana and Masala Kraft and both stood out and the experience was better than what I thought or ever imagined. Got a successful stick at the bucket list 🙂.

So this was my first visit to Taj Mahal Palace and the experience was just wonderful.Got a free upgrade from them being my birthday.Rooms are spacious and has a amazing view to Gate way of India.Even the breakfast spread was delicious!!!A must place to visit once in a lifetime.

Great hospitality with good, clean rooms. Due to lockdown only one restaurant operating and no access to swimming pool and gym. We had a sea view Deluxe room on 15th floor so the view of the sea was Great. Morning walk on the opp. road among the pigeons was great.Food was good, however did not match the 5 star standards.

It was a very good experience in this pandemic situation. Proper protocols were maintained. Room was very neat and clean duly sterilized. Even breakfast was arranged in two places to avoid rush and maintain social distancing. It was a great experience. Safe place to stay, cooperative staff.

Location is good. But thats almost everything thats good. A 12 K room not having A bath tub is not appreciated at all. Waiting of 30-40 Minutes for breakfast at A Five Star Hotel (their Restaurant Shamiyana ) is unheard of. Left me really disappointed overall.

The food was amazing, the view of the sea is awesome, the hotel was busy even during weekdays.. Emphasis was on wearing mask and they provided with safety kits which had mask and gloves. The staff attended us pretty well

The new customer is informed about the entire hotel By delivering your literature to the room, you are informed about the comforts of the room in the language you want. There is an arrangement .. All the arrangements for living, sitting and eating are amazing ...!Definitely visit Taj Hotel at least once ...!

Taj mahal tower is the same hotel which is connect with taj mahal palace. Many people think its diffrent than palace. Palace wing has been connected internally with tower wing. And and these two has it own charm.Any one staying in taj tower or palace can explore other side also.There are more than 7 restaurants in tajAnd major restaurant are in tower wing and its ground floor there are only 2 restaurant in palace Wing. I would suggest go for tower rather than palace due to the great view.

It was really thoughtful of them to leave a coloring book with crayons on the first day in our room.They also surprised her with a waffle on the fist breakfast day.and second day with a teddy shaped dosa and teddy shaped pancake.They truly pampered us.This is our second time here but it just gets better.No complaints whatsoever.Everyone should experience this at least once.Our staycation at The Taj Mahal tower has spoiled us for stay at any other hotel.

This is an only one time experience place. Didnt feel like I was staying in Taj, was just like some other ordinary hotel. Cleanliness & hygiene were 10/10Very good staff 8/10Good clean rooms 10/10Ambience 8/10Whatever you do this guys are gonna make you wait. They just took 2 hrs for our Check-In like no value for time. This is a place where you get charged Rs. 450 for like 20-30pcs of ice-cubes. 🤣🤣 You can get a big slab of ice from which you & your friends can do ice bucket challenge.Any who, do visit once.

By the legacy i thought this might be a great stay but instead the service which we got was pathetic.it maybe because there was rush in the hotel due to weekend.But Im never going taj again thats for sure. the rooms alloted were having bed whose spring used to pinch so we changed our room and they gave us more smaller room which was not a service which i expected. It was overall a good experience. We were in the sea view room and the view was really great. You can see the sun rise from the room. The location of the hotel is the best part about it. The room was clean but not up to the standard. There was a waiting for morning breakfast. Breafast is good. They dont serve fresh juices but instead they have juice bottels of Raw and similar brands.
