This place has facility to organize religious program. Has 2 to 3 small size hall and one very big pandal which can accomodate near to 1000 people very easily. It also has dharamshala behind with AC and Non AC rooms and rooms are also maintained nicely. People coming from out of Mumbai can stay here on daily basis and also have breakfast lunch and dinner in the canteen. Place is like with 2 to 3 km from Borivali railway station which is very well connected to Western railways.
Its a big Digambar Jain temple in National Park, Borivali east. Here Moolnayak is ChandraPrabhu bhagwan. The temple has teenmurti and all 24 tirthankars as well. It has a dharamshala and bhojanshala as well. It has a snan-ghar(bathroom) for gents to change into clothes for doing puja. Has enough space for parking. It has upasara and open space for pravachan as well.
The place was calm but little interior, good to spend around 2 hours.

One of the best Jain Temples in Mumbai. Adjacent to National Park.
Giving a peaceful feeling. Energetic. Natural beautiful.
A very beautiful place situated in the lush green environment of the ragiv gandhi national park. It has always been a good place to spend spiritual time.****the only problem is that if you come here, come in your private vehicle bug not taxi because if you dont come in private vehicle you cannot enter the national park to get to the temple. If you dont have any means you can come through different route but in that after a particular point it is a 500m walk to the temple through the slums. While going it is on your luck if you can find a vacant seat in the car of the national park or you have to take lift from other people.
Beautiful Jain temple situated within Borivali National park.
Very good and clam place, surrounded by greenery
Digamber Jain temple.Must visit, but tourist needs to take care maintain the holiness of the temple.

Very peacefulThirth Sthan
Its a good temple. There are three huge idols here. This place is accessible from Sanjay Gandhi National Park. When we went there was no one here, i guess it was not the opening timing. But still they allowed us to visit it. Its beautiful, peaceful, blissful, everything you would want after a hectic week to calm your mind with total greenery of the national park surrounding you. Its on the way to Kanheri caves so do visit it as it doesnt take much time. I would suggest everyone, whether Jain or no, to visit this temple for its architecture.
Great experience. Very polite people at reception and staff overall. Very peaceful and serene environment. Unbelievably spacious rooms at almost no cost. If you are Jain, this place must be visited and if you are looking for an option for very good stay, then this is a unique place in Mumbai. Only issue can be the approach roach to this place, which passes through slum area, but that too is not quite bad. Very good food too. Quite clean place.
Peaceful environment
Excellent is the word. Reach here at a time when you will expect less people and this is nirvana. A very calm place, you can meditate or just sit there, in solidarity. There are two ways to reach here, one is from the road adjacent to Magathane bus depot. And other one is through National park. Great visit.
It is Digamber Jain Temple. Very calm and quiet place to visit for darshan and prayers. Located in side of National Park.
The only big digamber jsin temple of mumbai after bhuledhwar temple in nombay town
Serene .spotted a Deer near templeIts rare sight to have such a serene place in midst of hustle and bustle of maximum city
Huge and beautiful temple.. Very serene.. approach road is not so good though.. Even when you reach by public conveyance, you might not get a ride back and might have to walk for some distance.
One of the most peaceful place in India
The best Jain Mandir
Peace & spiritual feeling ....so calm
Excellent digamber mandir. Excellent location. Must visit for all jains facility of food & rooms available.
It is also known as Podanpur. Three very highted idols of Bhaghawan Aadhinath, muni Bharat and muni Bahubali are very nicely carved. Approach Road by car is through Sanjay Gandhi National park and attracts tickets for going to mandeerji. A very big Dharmshala and delicious food at very reasonable cost is available. Facilities can be upgraded as going ahead with time.
This so called ancient religious place is actually encroachment on previous forest land in the name of religious place.Day by day the construction is expanding and commercial activities increasing . Creating disturbance for animals in reserve forest.
The best place to visit for Digambar Jain
Mesmerizing
Very big Digambar Jain mandir inside National Park. Though its at the edge of the border of National Park adjoining Tata power area. Its peaceful inside. Having all the idols of Tirthankars. Worth a visit. Its supposedly very old.
One of the oldest and important Jain Pilgrim situated in the center of the city away from hustles... Based inside National park. You will love the silence and religious atmosphere
Natural beautiful place in the national park of Borivali border, Teen Murthy of Bhagwan Bharat,Bhagwan Bhaubali, Bhagwan Adinath with 24 Tirthankaras.
Strictly for Jain community. Good for budgeted overnight stay.Has restriction on free movement as rules of national park come into affect. Rooms need some uplifment
Nice peaceful place to visit though the entery I used thorough Tata Power is little difficult as I have to stop the car almost a km away and walk through narrow lanes ... I think there is better roads through national park but if you are visiting the temple at 6 pm this is the only road left I thinkTemple is must visit place ... There are 3 standing statues in an open area ... Very peaceful ... There are lot of trees all around the temple
Beautiful place. It is located within National park area. So if you happen to visit National Park, Borivali you must visit this Jain temple.

Placed in lush green sanjay gandhi national park... Good to spend time peacefully and do your aradhana
Religious place for jain
Good parking space but forest deptt charges Rs 400/- for entrance fee as the temple is inside forest.
It is a good place. How ever i am an atheist so the place was bad. Although i admire the architecture. I do not like the kind of money being wasted there.literally it is waste. No need for temples. That will solve castism. If you are religious you may find the place ok.
The area of this temple is very largeThe best way to get to it is park your vehicle outside the slum and walk through it till the end where youll find this beautiful temple.I also stayed in their dharamshala for 2 days, rooms are really nice and spacious moreover very affordable.
Its awsome tample. Main idol is Shri adinath TIthankar, Bharat swami and bahubali swami. If you want to stya here you can feel like blessing. it is located in Sanjay Gandhi National Park. And early morning you can see deer near temple
Very peaceful and religous place
Very peaceful. Not accessible with car. Try to reach before sunset as the gates are closed for the national park. Theres another entry but you have to walk for a while to get there(near TATA Power)
Its Best Place To visit.A Divine Place. It is very silent place to meditate. It is also an tourist attractions and I to loved this place.

Nice temple, good ambience. Loved the serenity of the place in the back drop of National Park. Also dont miss the meals at the temple, will make you healthy.
Best place for digambar jains in Mumbai
When one gets in there at the temple, it becomes hard to believe that such a serene and divine place exits within the city...!

Impossible to imagine such a beautiful and holy place in the midst of Mumbai.. you will forget you are in Mumbai city once 5 km inside.
Good place for Jains
It’s a serein Jain spiritual temple in the Sanjay Gandhi national park 🏞 little far from entry one should have a vehicle to reach this place or by walk will take mini 20min.
Very narrow road to reach place .but the atmosphere around the Mandir is very good !!
Great Jain worship place within SGNP. It has rooms for pilgrims to stay with basic facilities.Statue of Lord Adinath, , Lord Bharat and Lord Bahubali surrounded by 24 tirthtankaras.
Its very far from Mumbai (around 2hr)Dharm shala here is decent enough with rooms of 500 700 and 1000 rupees respectively
