Cinema 🎥 hall & smart fitness center in Matunga,Manmala tank road.

You can watch movie here at cheaper price but the seats are very old and some of them are Broken. Cinema hall is huge and sofa seats are also available here. I had a very bad experience here because some weird smell was coming from inside the seats or from the carpet on the ground. I watched Namaste England here and decided not to visit here again. If anyone have any question Abt this theatre they and freely comment on my review..

Single screen theatre. Visiting it regularly only for one prime reason, cheaply priced tickets. A morning show ticket can be bought between Rs.80-150 while a late night show ticket doesnt go beyond Rs.180 in its price. There is ample parking available for both two & three wheelers. The washrooms(male & female) are in the basement. The small cafeteria is right at the entrance to the main theatre hall. You can buy basic refreshments like water, juice, popcorns, sandwich & samosa. The quality of seats is degraded and few are broken & few have problems with reclining. The audience is insensitive to others and it is a common scene here to see people talk on their phones loudly while the film is on. The theatre is particular in its timings and there is practically no delay in starting the movie from its listed time. One has to reach there in advance so as not to miss the movie.

Decent single screen movie theatre, it isnt as great as a big multiplex, but it isnt bad either that u will have a bad experience. Somewhat decent.

This is a nice and clean movie theatre, though their coffee is really exorbitantly expensive and not really good.Decent staff, good movie experience. Staff was really helpful and courteous with helping my elderly parents to find the seat or visit the washroom and bring them back to the seat during the intervals. This was a great gesture, an act of real kindness.Thank you.

This place is fully accessible for disabled and senior citizens beautiful garden outside and inside washroom facilities available for disabled and senior citizens. Very affordable prices and great availability of services online and affordable prices good quality coffee and drinks available huge sitting space and transportation easily available. Good quality seat.

Absolutely awesome place to watch any particular movie with family and friends. The cinema experience is good. The canteen and convenience is marvelous. Even the prices for the experience is pretty good and handy. I would recommend it all the friends and families. Its so near to the Railway station.

Visited renovated Star City after almost a gap of 5 years....Renovation is recently completed and has definitely given a face lift to old Bijli cinema hall!!The seats are nice n clean and the refreshments are equal to what one gets in any cinema hall. It is a single screen. Sound is Dolby and is bearable. Neat n clean ambience and hope they retain it for some more time to come!

Good for residents nearby. sound is good. only need to clean up seat covers on a daily basis. or change to some different material as sometimes water drained in it through someones hair or sweat stinks a bit

Worst place I ever visited in my life so congested place

Work is still happening. So dont go for morning shows. They will make you wait outside in rain/ sun. Other than that, its a pretty good theatre. Screen was good, sound was apt and seats were comfortable. Once its completely renovated, it will be a great theatre.

It good to watch 3D movies there but the staffs like chair and wash room and all not good .

Visited the theater after the renovation. The new sound system is superb while the screen is also big & clean (the old screen was not that well maintained). Even the interior & seats are good. Overall a great new experience.

Seats, Picture Quality, Staff everything is amazing. Best thing if food is available in cheaper rates plus the quality is also good. Huge parking space is available for 2 wheeler as well as 4 wheeler vehicles. 3D picture quality is moderate. But overall experience is very good.

Good place which got renovated and now its more better than before, its nearby to the station, approximately a 5-10 mins walk. It has one screen, the rates are also cheap and they take efforts to maintain the hygiene, the screen also wont disappoint, so its an overall a good experience in all perspectives.

Renovation has been done recently .I personally like this theatre because they good seats , sound quality is also good . You can get parking here . I have watched at least 10 movies in this theatre ,l dont have any problem with staff & environment of theatre.

I have been going to this theater since I was a kid. It was the closest theater in the area. I have seen one of the best movies here when I was a kid. This theater has lot of memories. It had a down fall half decade ago due to quality of service. But, it is recovering fast. The last movie which I watched here was amazing. Cause of good quality sound systems and projection.

Great improvement after renovation. Comfortable recliners. Easily one of the best cinemas around for a 200 bucks ticket.One star less for hell expensive food.

This movie theater is really good at its price of the tickets. the only thing is it is totally renovated from outside but from outside it is same as it was before. One thing I liked that they have some cushions for kids so the kids with less height can enjoy movie very comfortably.

Firstly, there is parking for cars and 2 wheelers available. They dont take any refundable deposit for 3D glasses. One screen and its renovated really well. I wish someone does that to Regal and Eros. The experience was really pleasant. Good sound system.

Watched Tanhaji and orient Express here. Best for 3d . Reasonable ticket rate. But dont go for the refreshments. They charge exorbitantly . 80 for 2 samosas

Great place to watch movies in dadar with renovation the theatre has become more modern single screen theatre the seats are comfortable tickets prices are increased but not such to great extent Dolby sound its excellent its worth every penny for those people who dont want to spend huge money on tickets seats are also excellent

They’ve renovated the movie theatre.Seems to look good, haven’t watched any movie there recently though.

The best thing good about the place is price. Dont expect much. They have two sitting, sofa and regular, the only difference being sofa seats are bigger. Foods, cold drinks and ice cream are pocket friendly. Screen and music systems are very good. 3d experience was great.

Not well maintained. Screen quality is just OK. Food options are also less. Samosa is good. Tickets are reasonably priced. Generally plays latest good movies.

Ive been visiting this theatre for many years, one of the best in Dadar-Matunga area, however in the past 3-4 years the theatre was in very poor condition and the footfall also reduced due to that. But, its all in the past now and the theatre has been completely renovated from top to bottom. Plus the tickets rates have been kept the same and they dont put a hole in your pocket. Do visit soon!

Recently renovated theate good option at Matunga Citilight used to be earlier three theatres called Badal Bijlee and Barkha about 25 years ago.Clean and well maintained. Good snack options

Its a single screen movie theater.There is a snack counter with reasonable price. The place is clean and comfortable seats helps to enjoy the movie.Sound system quality is average.

Its near by shivaji park. You can enjoy movie here with your friends and family. Snacks such as samosas, sandwiches and cold drinks are available on the counter. There is bike parking available inside the theatre with 10 rs per bike. The atmosphere and crowd was good.

Great location. Good amenities but seems like blockbusters come bit later here, like second week.

Comfortable seats good sound effects but food rates are high

Although the theatre is a decent place to go with family and not too shady the interior need a lot of maintenance. Its far below average. Seats are uncomfortable and its not too clean around. Although tickets are really cheap but I guess a lil higher price for good services will be appreciated and accepted.

We went for the morning show and there was no staff at the ticket counter till 9.55am for a 10am show.only after we repeatedly asked the security did someone comes to issue the tickets.old sandwiches, nachos and popcorn was in the snacks area. The coffee was undrinkable. Moreover the movie stopped abruptly, no announcement of interval and lights were not switched on. only after we went out and informed the staff did they say its an interval and switch on the lights. Very bad experience,would not recommend this theatre to anyone

Done renewal recently jan 2020.Seats are more comfortable.Little hike in pricing of tickets.But totally worth experience.

My visit was during the time of renovation. I beleive that will change the cinema into a new experience. That will certainly turn out to be a good movie going experience.

Screening and sound graphics was decent.No value for money at all for food .They were just looting us to give a small amount of snacks

Worst experience... Dirty, leaked washrooms... expensive tickets and food compared to quality... Two extremely small size Samosas for ₹80 & small quantity Popcorn for ₹300 etc... Selling bottled water and cold drinks much above the MRP price listed on it... Not sure if it is legal... better to avoid it...

There has been a complete makeover of this Place. Its a whole new Experience. So if you had been going to Starcity earlier and have not visited after the makeover please go asap to have the feel good factor!!

One Day I went to a place which I quite didnt like at first because there were so many bugs and all, But then after spending some time I realized how beautiful the place was.. It was a garden (you can name it) Filled with flowers, trees, birds, lakes, stones and nature there was no dirtiness which was the best part. Birds were chirping so loud that I could hear them from a long distance. I even saw some frogs. I got scared at first but then realized they were my friends. Just as I was making a necklace out of the flowers for my mom I saw a deer I was fascinated I had never seen one before. But before I could click a picture it ran off. The water was clean and really cold I could feel the cold temperature when my legs went inside the water. There were many fishes. The butterflies were roaming around. Some birds were coming and picking up the fishes, going back to their nests and giving them to their children or eating the fishes themselves. It rained a little bit but then it was all fine. The weather got more pleasant, seeing the flowers in the wind was peaceful. I just slept on the green grass which was a little wet and rested until the birds woke me, must be their evening chirping-session. All was the same, flowers, trees, insects, frogs and the breeze. I can just say it was a remarkable place.

Tbh .. they are really upgraded well .. ofcourse not the best but its definitely better than average and pricing is great

Cheap location very very old broken Cinema no proper arrangements for washrooms but its very cheap place.

After the renovation I heard that they improvised the seats and they actually did. Their sound system too is great. 👍🏻

I went to see Captain Marvel and my whole experience was ruined by constantly coming and going through the door which affects the brightness on the screen and also the screen Brightness was low so in dark or low light scenes i had to remove my 3D Glasses to see whats going on.And by the way if you are going to see any 3D Movie at Starcity you need pay a ₹50 REFUNDABLE amount for glasses.

Ambience of the theater is good, but prices for snacks and beverages are too high picture quality and seats are neat, 3d glasses are worst

Renovated theatre brings back memories of good old beauty - but its fit for the purpose type. If they maintain it well, the theatre will survive as single screen theatre.

Had great movie experience...the seating is very comfortable and picture and sound quality is also good...so its nice to have such affordable cinema in matunga....

Overall its ok...but I felt chicken sandwich was stale... hope they take care of food stuff which should be fresh...also feel cheated for the snacks I bought...over charged....n did not get bill.👎😠

Very well managed theater - Mostly works at full capacity, economical and good sound quality.

They charged same price for all the seats.But there should be proper washroom facilities and places to eat otherwise it is a nice theater

After renovation the movie hall has become quite good.. Comfortable seats with decent leg room..

This was my first instance at this theatre and I was pleasantly surprised with the renovation. It would be great to see some convenient space for patrons reaching early or at least allow to be seated on their seats

Very rude lady guard.She say you can enter the cinema just 15 mins bfr movie time. We had to wait for entire 30mins as we showed up early.

A go to place when I want to a watch a movie at a moments notice. Single screen theatre, one of the few ones left. Surrounding are decent. Interiors are okay. They have evolved from what try used to be a decade ago. Tickets are priced reasonably, one star for that ;)

Was a decade ago one of the best theatres around and one could even catch a celebrity. But now it looks as if its still trapped in the ages. Needs renovation, better seats and better screen with audio.

Ive been here ever since my childhood. But to be very honest, over the time, the crowd here sometimes isnt too good. But the rates of tickets are cheap and you would enjoy. Just that if its a comedy movie or a Blockbuster... Dont expect the crowd would be calm. I mean, youre in luck in that case. 😂✌️

Nicely renovated, better seats(straight seats,not reclining) & carpets been changed.It was a disappoinment to see no change in its screen size & low brightness. Parking charges have been increased & popcorns made expensive.

Good for a cheap movie. The snacks are much more economical, and its quite worth the money. The seats are not as comfortable as but its good in its own way

Nice theater.

Not that good. Its door entrance is right in front of the screen, so initial few minutes of the movie youre gonna see shadows of incoming people on it. And if youre gonna watch 3d movie here, you better have some extra cash for the deposit on 3d glasses.

The theatre is very old and needs to be renovated. Most of the chairs doesnt slide properly. But the ticket price is very reasonable.
