Placed the order at the peak of Covid in US and India, on Nov 28, 2020. Inspite of all the difficulties across the globe, the team took at most sincerity to process my order and I received the product on Dec 12, 2020. Boy, am I impressed by the quality of the product? We just received today our beautiful mantap. What struck me apart from the well crafted piece, was the meticulous packaging which shows their professionalism. I would like to share the courteousness and helpfulness of Ms Shraddha (hope i got the spelling correct!) during the entire process, including being very customer friendly to set right any minor issue etc. The website was pretty good and what you see is what you get. When you set up a mandir for home, you are almost making a lifetime commitment, so it is very important to be happy with what you buy, and I am delighted with the purchase. Samkit is an absolute gem of a guy. He is honest and extremely professional with his dealings. Rarely you would find someone giving you suggestions that would be in your best interest as opposed to their vested interests. I was inclined on the 36inch temple however Samkit instead suggested to go for 24inches looking at our needs and the number of idols we had. He instills confidence in the way he deals which is super important when you order something online internationally (australia). The products are of superb quality and the packaging is done to ensure that it would even pass the military drop test too :-). Shipment was through FedEx and was super smooth. Its a fresh breeze to find an Indian reseller who is fair in his dealing and selling quality products online. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend aakaar and its products to anyone. Temple looks good and have good packing. But temple is wooden with wax polish. Tray was burned with aarti thali even though the diya was inside small bowl. Dark patches comes. Feeling unhappy and not getting good quality and proper response.

I would like to share my personal experience with Aakaar.1. I booked their product online via Amazon. I got a follow up call next day from Aakaar confirming the product dimensions and address for the delivery.2. The product was delivered on time as promised. The packing was really top notch. They even left the indications on the package (top-side, bottom-side etc) that helps you during unpacking.3. Upon unpacking I found out that everything-from the bulb fixture to the temple fixtures were packaged as advertised. The quality of the temple was top class. The color and the finishing were totally impressive.4. I observed that there was a slight crack on the top right portion of the temple. I was a little disappointed. I clicked a few pictures of the wooden crack on the temple and dropped an email to Aakaar. What followed this was really heartening. Aakaar was very courteous in their response to the email and politely assured that immediate action will be taken. They explained how their quality process wouldnt deliver a defective piece to their customers and how they were totally conscious about their brand name. Standing on their words, they immediately followed up with Amazon delivery services and found out that the damage was due to the way the package was handled inappropriately during the delivery. For the mishap that happened during the delivery, Aakaar was extremely apologetic and called out if there was anything they can do to make up for my disappointment - in addition to providing right guidance to fix the damaged portion, they went to the extent of offering a modest benefaction to cheer me up. This is called EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!In spite of a small delivery mishap and a crack thru the wood (that i eventually got fixed by a local carpenter and it looks alright now), I still give a 5 star rating to Aakaar for their quality product, quality packing and outstanding customer service. These guys are polite and really appreciate the sentiments of their customers. They value their brand and handle their customers wisely.

We ordered the 30 inch mandir. We got in touch with Samkit and he recommended we order the extra 2 inch step for photos. He was very helpful in explaining that we should get the legs to put the mandir on a platform or on the floor since US buyers typically don’t wall mount because of drywalls. We got the mandir sooner than anticipated.When the mandir was delivered, we got instructions on how to unwrap it step by step taking video/photo as evidence in case it comes out damaged.Unwrapping and screwing in the various parts was very easy. The mandir included India-to-US converter for the in built LED bulbs.The entire process was very straightforward and smooth. Would recommend to others and would do business again if I get the chance.

I purchased a mandir from Aakar during my recent trip to India in Jan 2018. Mr Samkit gave me good input via phone regarding shipping, size of mandirs and contact info for Aakar in India. My purchase in India at their store went smoothly and they even packed the Mandir very well for shipment to US at some extra charge. Overall a great experience and Thank you!!

I wanted to buy a wooden temple for my house today and as it was my New Years I had a Puja . I selected a rather nicewooden temple( excellent quality) and though I found the price quite steep ( 75k) I decided to go ahead and buy it . I called the shop and asked them if I could make a demand draft of the amount as I had misplaced all my cards the day before, and send it across and requested them a same day delivery which they agreed . When I called back to tell them that I should be there in a couple of hours a lady came on line and said they dont accept demand draft and so they will wait until it cleared to deliver my product . That didnt work with my puja plans for the evening and upon asking what was the reason for not accepting a demand draft they said that mode of payment is too outdated in mumbai and they would prefer a bank transfer instead .I spent half my morning getting a demand draft made after having clarified with them and them sending me the correct name in which the dd has to be made and now I was left with a dd which I had to cancel which is a pain . So basically spend most part of sat cancelling dd and organising a bank transfer which finally did happen buttheir banks supposedly closed for them to check if the funds arrived so no delivery for my puja .Pls educate your stuff because unless I have been living under a rock a demand draft is a very acceptable form of payment. I like any normal person dont want to waste copious amount of time to buy something just because your staff decide to be difficult, or not well informed although I fail to see the reason why they should to a paying customer.Although not getting the temple on time In spite of my best effort was not a life altering incident it definitely left a very very bad taste in my mouth .I hope everything goes smoothly when the shop opens on Monday and I get my delivery so that I never have to come back to your shop again .
