I was hired for a very different role in the team as an consultant, but due to work pressure and targets my role rapidly changed. Although the things were very new to me I did it with full dedication. From helping x person to z person in the team, I arrived office before hours and left post working hours, worked on Saturdays and a few Sundays as well, but never did I ask for any compoff. After two months my manager finally planned to proper role for me and I happily accepted. On March 15th when my contract finally got over, I asked my manager what next? To my shock she thought my contract was for 6months. The very next day work from home had started, due to which my work reduced but I was always ready for any upcoming work. My renewed contract was discussed with HR head and after few days I got a call from my manager saying your contract is been extended for 6 more months and she explained why to trust her for that. I disagreed and asked to keep it for 3 months, and finally agreed for that verbally. Days passed but I did not receive my renewed contract, on 31st March I got laid off from the company. Reason beingA) I did not have much work.B) My consultant period was extended verbally.As the days weeks and months have passed my aggression towards the company is been rising. Still cant figure when and where was i wrong? It might have been a very easy decision for you to make but it is indeed a big trauma for me. After all this they still did not have any sympathy and continuously asked me to submit my assets a colleague who stayed 2km away. In such a pandemic situation wherein you show up so many posts of caring your employees, why wasnt I counted? Why was I only in the picture when work pressure was there? Why was I counted as an intern when I was a consultant? Why havent I yet received my reliving letter?To sum up this I was working in HR team.

I am the trainee from upgrade pgpli program. It is one of the best online program to learn the course easily. Firstly I was so scared because of online classes means didnt clarify any doubts which we are facing but each module and each session is designed very clearly . In the middle of the module they are asking questions is better to revise that is it understanding or not . If any doubts our mentors has clearly clarifying our doubts for this program. Finally this program is very helpful to us to grow our life.

Took up a course which they offered in conjunction with MICA and it exceeded my expectations.What worked: The platform (extremely user friendly), the course structure (linear and systematic progression), the content and the support staff. While they have set deadlines for each module within course, there is enough time given for students to pace their studies. Some of the professors have been really good and the course material quite insightful.What needs work: Some of the technical content could have done with more elaboration (they did give additional reading material though). The IOS app needs to work.

I must say, their program is quite comprehensive in terms of offering a quality content thats laid out very well in a modular format. Their student support is awesome with almost a 24* 7 availability. If your objective is to get a hold on the core concepts of digital marketing and be equipped with knowing the various tools, platforms etc., then UpGrad does a great job of introducing a number of alternatives during the course and giving hands-on experience of running Facebook and Google search & display campaigns.

I am not very much happy with Upgrads process in terms of course fees EMI options given to learners/students. I had enrolled myself for PG certificate program in Digital Marketing and Communication.I had been struggling to get my loan application approved from UpGrads finance partner ZestMoney & Propell for almost 2 months (Since March 2020).First the application gets approved, then for a minor date change request in the EMI, my application gets revoked and i am asked to re-apply for the Loan. The 2nd time my application gets rejected by the same vendor (ZestMoney) who has approved in the 1st place (Reason being salary expense improper). I am asked to Re-Apply with another vendor with all necessary documents again, this application also got rejected with no proper reason being communicated. I am asked to Re-apply with next immediate kin from my family to check for approval, this application also gets rejected because of an existing education loan that my twin brother is paying. I had almost lost my patience, hope and trust with UpGrad and their team. For 1 lac rupees of student loan i had to face so many rejections, re-applying again and again.Ultimately i was given an option where the interest rate was shown 14% p.a.from 11%. This is sheer unethical practice from ZestMoney. The finance team of UpGrad and ZestMoney was least helpful, uneducated, uninformed about their work and how to get things done. Also, my case was taken in a very negligent manner by the student counselor (Mr Siddhant from Upgrad)My calls werent answered, nor my message were responded by the student counselor (Siddhant). Even after discussing the entire scenario with the counselor (after sharing call records, chats screenshots) nothing helped in making things better. The finance team just made me re-do things every now and then, but not once i was given a positive feedback.I had almost lost all hope whether i might loose my application and all the progress i had achieved till date with my curriculum will go waste. After to much of begging and requesting my situation to my near family member, I had to borrow the sum of 1,04,945/- to pay my program study fees at once.(Guess this is what i feel they wanted me to pay the entire amount due to the COVID situation, as their is a economical breakdown faced by the nation, which they have succeed in the end).Today exactly after 2 months i could finally complete my pending student application by paying the fees upfront.Even after such an amazing curriculum, teaching staff, Student mentors i am not at all happy because of UpGrads operations team (Finance, Student loan partners, Counselors).I would highly recommend and warn anybody who will be choosing any program with UpGrad, to be very careful and vigilant about their process in helping you with your admission.

I enrolled for the digital marketing course in June 2017, and it was a huge disappointment! They are promoting the course through their collaboration with MICA, but the truth is that a MICA professor only introduces a module/session. They do not teach as such. The MICA brand is just there to attract students to enroll for the course.Also, they said they’ll provide placement services, but only 2 or 3 job postings were posted, and that to of executive roles.You’ll get better material for free online, like in Neil Patel’s blog, etc.Please don’t waste your money on this course.

Every aspect of this course is better than expected. What could be better? Well the same course could be stretched to 12 months instead of 11. Sometimes, content is too much to grasp within a week, however thats a subjective suggestion.

I would give them zero stars if that was possible...my interview was scheduled at 10. I reached the venue at 9:30 and my actual interview started at 10:30... coming with an experienced background they wanted me to join at an entry level job (Thus I understood after my 1st round of interview which made me understand clearly what exactly the role was) However something else was communicated over the call. The HR and interview panelists are really unprofessional and do not even value others time. I got such wrong vibes after certain point of time...Coming with certain level of corporate experience I was told that I would be handling something very basic which a fresh graduate would also do...which was a bit of shock.... secondly my first round was finished at around 11:30 and I waited for the second round with Srijit Sircar till 2 pm.( I felt like walking away after a certain point of time as I felt really exhausted) . Finally gave the interview but he told me that my current responsibilities did not match with what they were offering. At this time I had lost my cool just wanted to bash them for wasting my time and felt like telling them if it wasnt clear to them in the first place? Plus this srijit dude arrived at the office at around 12. The HR (Vinay Mane) told him to conduct other Peoples interview first while I kept waiting .... whereas my turn should have come first and this too I had to remind him. God knows how these bunch of unprofessionals are running a company which could have been a success keeping in mind future trends in learning space.

I went for interview at worli office. HR Vijay Mane called me at 9.30 am and took 2 mins interview, later asked me to wait for another round. Gave me an assignment to solve. The HR didnt gave proper information about the Profile in 1st round. I was waiting for second round till 1 pm, I asked HR (Mr. Mane) how much time it would take and he replied 10 min more. I was still waiting till 2pm and then he asked me to leave , said that he will call me in next week. Didnt even take the second round nor gave any feedback. Disgusting HR , no proper communication and no respect for employee as well as time.

My interview actually started at 1pm while I had informed Ms Ruchi Thakur I had another interview to attend at 1:30 , instead my interview gets done at 1:30. And thats not it, in the end I was told I am selected for the customer service role, Ms Sonia told me she would discuss on the CTC with me once I give a go ahead. Today I received a call from Sim enterprises saying that I was not considered for either the sales role which I applied for nor the customer service role. Amazing organisation.
