Recently revisited this eatery for a takeaway, the luxury of dine in experiences being lost to COVID.Everything they make is done fabulously well. The garlic cheese croissant is very soft and has filling upto the last bite. One can really taste the garlic so it isnt just an overdose of cheese. This is how a garlic cheese croissant ought to be made. The chicken mayo sandwich is delicious. It is the old school/classic version without any novel twist ruining it. Just soft white bread (without sides) with a very subtly flavoured chicken filling drenched in mayonnaise. The chicken patties, which seem more like puff pastry, are fantastic. Creamy chicken stuffing encased within layers of flaky pastry firm enough not to start disintegrating or falling apart at each bite. The mutton cutlets are crisp on the outside and firm on the inside. The fries that are served along with the cutlets are absolutely fresh and have a crunch. The choco lava cake has a delicious crust and a soft, gooey centre. Just how it should be.All the fare we ordered were fairly regularly available items, nothing really fancy. This eatery does them so well that a lot of other eateries serving similar items could use these as a template and learn from them

Sali per edu - it is fried potato (not fried rice) with egg, which is out of my expectation. It is better than it looks. I dont understand why ppl are giving such a great review.Been here after reading others reviews and being among top 10 parsi food place. The ambience is very simple and small in area.Always open for flies and mosquitoes to visit inside.Had their to be famous sodas... Which were horrible... Its like having diluted Local Candy flavored drinks.Their fish were too bland.Fish fried balls was decent but small and less in quantity.Rice was decent.Muffin is simple. Most important - overly priced.Would advise to only visit once as it tops the chart.

The best place I have visited yet where one can get fresh authentic Parsi food. The place is at a walkable distance from asiatic library and the staff here are kind, the restaurant is a quiet place with less to negligible amounts of commotion, I was fortunate enough to meet on of the owners family member at the resto and he was super kind too, he explained the restaurant is called Jimmy boy because when the founder Mr. Jamshedji went to Australia, they couldnt pronounce his name, hence they used to call him Jimmy boy 😂the food here can be from medium to semi expensive here, but its worth. I had Paatra ni Machhi and Mutton Dhansak with roti and a bottle of pallonjis raspberry soda.😅 the food was awesome. This place is worth a visit ✌✌

I managed to get to Jimmy Boy after a long wait of two years. When you wait for so long, you are usually disappointed, but Jimmy Boy lived up to the expectations. With a typical Mumbai cafe like feel, this place serves fantastic Parsi food. The Chicken Gravy Cutlet was a love affair with minced meet. Patrani Macchi though a little costly is worth every single penny especially as they do great justice to some fresh Pomphret. Raspberry soda is a wonderful beverage to wash your food down with. Oh! so much I loving having food outside on a sunday afternoon after the rehearsal at NCPA. This time we were looking for places to have parsi food. and the search begins and ends at Jimmy Boy, we were could indulge on parsi food in the comfort of conditioned air in this May summer. Nevertheless, we ordered two portions of Mutton Dhansak, one Kheema Pav and a plate of classic Chicken Farcha.I could easily say one the best places in Bombay for comfort food. Really loved the taste of the Dhansak accompanying with the tender meat and I was floored by it. Also, commendable Chicken Farcha one of the best hands down from what I have tasted. Even the kheema was running close to what I tasted in Picaddily, quite good! I ended up ordering unlike my friends was anytime Palonjis Rassperry Soda.I definetely enjoyed my meal and really liked the experience ignoring the fact its quite higher on the price side. Would like to bounce again one more time but, I would have to plan for it.Do attend, if craving for some really nice comfort food.
