Lokmanya library also know as .....adarah library Ashok Nagar Kandivali East..... this place currently a Vaccination center

Pretty decent library but non-AC. Solves the purpose since its close to my place and during this time in winter, you really dont need AC. Plus the charges are comparatively cheap

I am CA final Student and since this Library is in my vicinity I had joined it to study peacefully.The Infrastructure is decent i.e proper tables and chairs,lights and wifi and also charges are pretty reasonable.Taking into account these features I had joined this library 2 months back.Initial days things were fine but in not less than a week did I realise that this library is not different from a corporate..Reasons given hereunder-1.The management will like you if you belong to their caste and speak their language.2.The management will like you if you know how to sweet talk and shower praises on them.3.The management will like you if spend more time passing time with them than actual studying and yes ofcourse share your dabba with them...like literally!The problem is you dont want the management to like you but if you belong to the unlikeable category then all the rules of library(even the ones not in the rule book) will be applicable to you.Out of the 100 students here around 60 genuinely want to study but the real problem is the 40 students(and the management which always supports them since they belong to the likeable catergory) who wont study and wont let you study.Me and another friend of mine had raised a complaint against a man student who was giving us inapt glances and eve teasing us.We had a complaint in written with a signature of around 25 students(including both boys and girls) who had some or the other issues against that same studentThe secretary of library personally handled the matter but instead of suspending that student,he tried to settle the matter by asking me and friend to compromise and by he himself saying these things are normal and asked the guy to apologise.Morever,the supporters of that student and the librarian starting putting allegations on us that it was our fault since we wore inappropriate clothes and were friends with boys in library.Since we were not ready to compromise we were insulted and rudely asked to leave the library if we had problem.Me and another 4 people left the library but the alleged student is still permitted in library..!!!In this library the jungle rule of Might is Right applies and you are mighty if you belong to the likeable category.Why you should join this library?1.If you can fulfill all the conditions to make a place for yourself in likeable category2.If you want to experience real life politics in miniature3.If you dont want to studyWhy you shouldnt?Just one reason.Because you want to study in a peaceful and safe environment with decent people!

Worst library management... Creepy people are here who stare, harass and misbehaves with girls... Not good library if you are from descent homes... After complaining trustee they removed students who were right.. saying that if any student has issues they must leave...

This is best Libraly in Mumbai. Its always care of students needs. I am enjoying there facilities well. Thank you Sweta & shubhangi Mam

This is public library open to all students for self study.Library is open from 7am to 10pm on all the days.There is facility of fans and lighting which is adequate .The building is two storeyed with sitting arrangements on ground floor and first floor .Washroom facility and filter for drinking water is provided.Library is approximately 10 minutes walking distance from east side of kandivli station.Students from schools and colleges from near and far area come here on their own to do self study.This is a very good facility provided to students by municipal corporation of greater Mumbai as its social obligation .This facility is free for childrens of municipal employees others have to pay a fee of Rs250/- per month for foll day use.
