Beautiful collection! The owner Mohan uncle is extremely passionate about plants and gave us a wonderful walkthrough. And the best part is all the plants were kept in excellent condition. Prices are reasonable too. The place is slightly inside and hidden, but if you live in Mumbai and are looking for rare plants, its worth visiting

Would not recommend buying plants from Root Bridges.I ordered a rubber plant which arrived in a bad state to begin with. Considering the nursery is near my house, the chances of it being damaged because of the logistics is not likely. The website description is also misleading, they say they add perlite to their soil (an ingredient that nourishes the soil), but it actually is cheap small thermacol balls (harmful for both the planet and soil). The soil is also pure clay, which is not recommended for indoor plants.The service provided by them was also unsatisfactory, when I raised a complaint, they did not acknowledge or admit their mistake and told me the plant will be fine in a few weeks, which it did not. It slowly shed all leaves and gave up. Since I have 40+ plants, I am well aware of how to take care of a plant, so this couldnt have been a rookie mistake.Definitely not making any purchases from them again. Would not recommend.

Called in this morning . Arrived the same day from their online website as this nursery is very close to my place . Well packed plants . Not damaged ones healthy too . Loved ordering from them online27th July - these plants are doing very well two months down the line now. Except for the calathea, all others are very much alive and well😎

07/08/2021Visited Rootbridges, Chembur today and had a lovely experience. The owner was very kind and helpful and went out of his way to educate us on the different variety of plants on display. Good healthy plants potted with lots of love and care. Will surely recommend this nursery to my friends and other plant lovers. Also got a chance to see the good packaging for the online delivery orders being done. Sure going to do online plant orders now.

I had placed an order to deliver an orchid plant as a gift. It was disappointing that the plant was delivered with broken stalks ( the flowers were broken) due to improper packaging

Never been to the place, always ordered online through Amazon or their website. Im very happy with the plants Ive received every time. Healthy, packed thoughtfully and well and delivered on time. Almost all plants I bought in March-June are thriving with me now. Will definitely recommend this store.

Had ordered 4 plants on 8th June but I never received my order or a mail nor a call. After 3 weeks I called them for refund... nothing. And called again still...no action. And on 6th of July(almost a month) they asked me the same questions that they asked on two previous calls... Is this how they do business? I would have given no stars... Now they have started looting even in plants sector,have no shame... Dear plant lovers please be cautious.Writing a review really helped (you all should try). Im based in Bangalore, & out of an age old whim - I placed an order from this Mumbai based nursery right before the lockdown . Just like other online deliveries, I expected the plant to be in a haphazard condition when I received it - however to my surprise, it was packed really well. One box per plant - all the boxes were taped to each other giving it the look of one big box. Only one of the plants took quite a beating - it is quite fragile in all honesty. Regardless, Im happy with my purchase & look forward to buying from them in the future.

Sharing this review after a day of receiving OXALIS triangularis plant . The packaging was good . But the plant was almost UPROOTED from the soil n the leaves were down n in bad state. Had to immediately transfer it to a different pot. Dont know whether it will survive. There wasnt any barrier to keep the soil n stem of the plant in the state they packed. Otherwise would have received it in better state

I had gone To the Place and I had chosen a Healthy peperomia Plant.....I also took a ceramic pot from him itself...I told him only to repot it...And then he went inside and exchanged my plant with some cuttings of that plant and gave it to me.After a week the leaves started falling and one day it fell of the pot...and I just touched and the plant came out of the pot I hought it was my mistake but there were no roots at all on the plants main stem ... After some days all the leaves turned black and is dead...Down below are the pics of the plant at present ....And when he exchanged the plant I was not aware as he took it inside to his Gardener and Dod not allow us inside....And Request You all to Not buy plants from Here...Thank You

To be honest I very much liked their services. Its not an easy task especially to deliver plants with assurance. I ordered few plants and it came safe and on time. I request them to work little bit on packaging. For short distance its okay but for longer distances it does not keep up. Thanks to the team who are labouring day and night to keep our home green.

Root bridges becomes one of my favourite online plant shop, Ive ordered via Amazon cause there I found them so thought to give it a try and without many negative reviews I bought two calatheas and three philodendrons, to my surprise theyve packaged so well that inspite of 5 days transit theyre absolutely fine and in good health, not even a single yellow leaf have found. Their pots may be normal nursery pots and they do not have any luxurious packaging which might cause the high price, their plants are off great quality. Cheaper than many online plant shops and trusted fully.

Brought airplants and recieved 3 very healthy plants. Would certainly recommend Root Bridges for online purchases over other sellers.

I was wanting to visit the Root Bridges Nursery from a long time! Finally, I managed to do so this morning!I was very excited and apprehensive!One has to find ones way through. It is not easy. But with google maps, was manageable!The place itself isn’t too large as nurseries go by, but enough to create a very welcoming and serene ambience.There were mainly indoor plants with a wide choice. The staff is especially courteous and showed me around with a lot of patience. There were the Calatheas, Caladiums, Hoyas, Palms, Cactus n Succulents et all! All fresh and healthy plants. Bought to my hearts content! Threw in an Air plant too as an afterthought! Yes! I made a BIG haul!They also have a choice of pots-plastic, metal and ceramic.Some pot stands thrown in for good measure!There is also a variety of potting soil, plant fertilisers, fungicides- all organic.A One-Stop Shop for all your plant needs!Service with a Smile!A Must visit!You will come out with a Smile!

We ordered 5 plants. 2 was damaged during transit. But customer care response was great and I got 2 damaged plants replaced. Will definitely recommend the website to my friends. Make sure you price the plants economically. Like oxalis triangularis. We have been eyeing on the plant for quite a few days. But the pricing of the plant has been increased almost by 100 re . Earlier it was 350 now we are seeing the process as 430 re. So we are pausing our purchase for quite a few days.

Healthy plants. Good variety of plants. All kind of plants available indoor, outdoor, ornamental, succulents, flowering plants. Price are little high compared to other nurseries.

Extremely dissatisfied with their online delivery service. Out of the 4 plants ordered, 3 arrived in very poor and damaged state. The opening cactus (a very hardy plant) was soft and rotting at the base! All this despite choosing Fedex, a quick and reliable courier service. As a buyer its of no use to me if the plants sent reach me in a dismal condition - whether it was owing to transit delay or otherwise. The packaging was not good at all, and the soil had spilled out of the pots.

We have been planting air purifies and exotic plants since last 3 years. We have tried plants from different nurseries from Mumbai as well as Pune.After few months, we learnt that plants that we got from Root Bridges are way healthier and happier than other plants that we got from other nurseries. Infact they have propogated so well that we are now short of planting space. I have ordered ZZ Plant, Scheffleraa nd Ficus Microcarpa. Due to pandemic, order was received after 18 days.I was surprised, ZZ Plant and Schefflera was in good condition even after 18 days. I ordered two plants from rootbridge...one was ok but zebrina was in very bad condition....i tried calling the rootbridge contact number but no response,i mailed them,i whatsapp them but recieved no response.After ordering i called rootbridge and the person on call was so positive regarding my doubt of geeting good plant or not...but now when i neeed replacement no one from rootbridge is responding.very bad experience.

Order no 8839.Unhealthy and dirty wilted plants delivered . Atleast leaves should be cleaned to let them breathe.The scotch tape covered all the airvents in the boxes.Do not keep wet newspaper over the soil. It encourage s fungal growth.Poorexperience guys.

Worst experience with rootbridges, I ordered one of the root bridge plant through flip kart, i have got plants from so many vendors this is the worst service. They don’t even know how to pack plant, plant was little tall so they have folded steam which is broken and sent it in small box. Guys never buy plants from root bridges, you have better websites who know how to send plants. I have also attached pic please see.

Roots Bridges is a fabulous nursery in Chembur. It has a huge variety of plants from succulents to flowering varieties and others. You also get a huge choice of planters.I am a plant amateur and I got a lot of help from the team in selecting th right plants for my home. I did. Ot realise but I ended up spending 2 + hours there. Needless to say I came home with a carload of new plants apart from the old ones that they serviced for me.I would recommend Root Bridges to anyone planning to grow their collecttion of plants at home.

I have visited a few nurseries across Mumbai, but none of them are any closer to Root Bridges in terms of variety and customer service. They have an extensive range of Succulents, Air plants, Exotic plants in addition to Flowering and shade loving plants.They also guide regarding right potting mixes, light and watering requirements.Mr Khanna is an amateur horticulturist and has a vast experience. If you tell him the planting conditions at home, he will guide you accordingly for choosing the plants and plant care. His son Udit is also a enthusiastic and very well qualified young man shouldering responsibilities with his father. Had a great experience at Root Bridges. I strongly recommend to visit this place in case you are looking for a good variety.

I had placed a prepaid order almost 3 weeks back for a fittonia plant. However I havent received any updates about my order yet. Neither does anyone pick up the phone informing any reason for its delay. No one even responds to the mails that are sent! Please be careful when you make such purchases. The reason I ordered was because of the good reviews. But I guess I cannot say the same! I do hope that root bridges will revert back to me at least after the review!!Thank you for your response. I spent a couple of hours on a Sunday with Mr. Mohan Khanna at Root Bridges and I fell in love with plants and succulents again. It was the third nursery visit of my day and I hadnt picked up a single plant at the other two nurseries because most of the plants were ill kept and secondly no one knowledgeable was around to explain the details around the plants.At Root Bridges, I felt at home. Mr. Khanna was kind and his attention to detail is phenomenal. His in-depth knowledge and willingness to share made me spend more than a couple of hours at his workshop and I took back quite a few plants. There is no question that if you truly want to talk to someone who cares and knows his stuff, you have to visit the place.His encyclopaedic knowledge of succulents makes me feel that I was in safe hands and I also know that anything I buy from there, will be looked after and supported.

My personal experience with root bridges is very nice. They have Amazing collection of plants. The owner of the root bridges is very communicative. The service is very good.

I visited them yesterday and was really happy. The nursery is small but in a magical sort of way.. Its in and around a small bungalow basically, but despite its size is well curated with quality plants. The man we interacted with, Mr Mohan was a real delight to speak with. He is very passionate about what he does and painstakingly took us through the various plants he had. It was like having a chat with my grandfather. Would definitely go back. My only suggestion would be to make a bigger sign or direction board. We missed the road twice and couldnt find the nursery until we did.

Very careless about the packing due to which max plant died on arrival or just in few days.We ordered 6 plant from them, out of 6 one is succulent and they wrap that succulent with wet newspaper due to which it fully soggy and died on arrival. Other plants condition is also not so good like calathea rosey plant also died on second day of arrival and other are also struggling.They are very careless and even not responding on mail, whatapp or on call.I will never personally recommend them due to their careless nature about the plants.

One of the finest in terms of plant quality, its health, honest guidance as also delivery service, in Mumbai. I was indeed very impressed with internet site - structure, info, detailing. Now I do not have stop extra hours at Pune, I hope.

Both Mohanji and Udit have a lovely plant collection which they themselves love and share with others. Their service is very informative and was nice during lockdown. I am a new plant collector and after doing research on all online plant nurseries and burning my fingers, I have come to the conclusion that Root Bridges is the best and most accessible. Their plants are all healthy, best size, best priced, and with no pests (spider mites, mealy bugs etc). Their fertilizers, perlite, planters, vermicompost, etc are all of very good quality and price. Last 4 months of lockdown I have been truly enjoying plants from Root bridges. All my plants are doing well indoors.

Unfortunately my experience with the online purchase was dissappointing.# Peace lily and tillandsia.Peace lily arrived with wilt, folded leaves in a congested pack.# tillandsia leaves fallen the day I received.# have mailed them and waiting for the response.This is my first experience with them( had a great experience with ugaoo and nursery live) and I am aware of this site being highly rated......just hope that it should not be the last one...Packing and quality of plant sent definitely not great as compared to other online sites.Customer support...may be its too early for me to comment and would like to wait before I conclude.....but have sent them couple of mails with little tardy response and no response on the phone.4/7/2020: received the plants on 1/7/2020....mailed next day about plant condition, asked to wait for 1-2days....plants condition worsens...mailed them with images.... no response on the mail and the phone ....I can now conclude that the customer support is horrible.....and this would be may last experience ......cheers to the lucky ones....

Purchased plants on their website, they were packed one into the other, almost all of them damaged, leaves broken. Sent an email with pictures to them, they dont bother to respond. Complete waste of money.
