The Hingla Devi is the goddess of the Koli community; the temple is situated in Versova Koliwada and it lies in the spine of the Koliwada. The goddess is always dressed in traditional koli attire and its always peaceful in the temple. The temple is surrounded by many shops for garlands, flowers to offer.Hingla Devi is also a link that connects India & Pakistan as one of her temple is also situated there where shes referred as nani & here in the Koliwada people refer to her as aai meaning mother. There are various songs dedicated to her and people believe she protects the Koliwada and indeed she does.The temple is well maintained and kept.

The Higla devi temple is an important temple in Versova village.The temple premises, though small, are well maintained and the residents of Versova hold the goddess in high esteem and have a lot of faith.There is a yearly festival, called gondhal, sometime around July this year, which is extremely crowded and to be attended.
