Amazing guest house, conviniently located in IIT Bombay. Very close to academic area and lecture halls. The room is great, breakfast even more amazing. The staff is polite and well-mannered. They give one water bottle per day thats the only thing I think should be improved.

My room on the 11th floor had breathtaking views, like I suppose, every other room does 😊. The room was very well appointed with central ac, study space, kettle, wardrobe with electronic safe, comfy beds, attached toilet etc. The dining room on ground floor is huge and very well laid out for great conversations. The food is good, whichever meal you are having. Overall, my stay was very pleasant and I hope to be back soon.

We have been staying in the Padma Vihar Guesthouse for two months now, and going back home in a few days. It is managed hotel-like by a very professional and competent team. The food is very tasty with meal planning taking into account foreign guests like us who might not be so used to spicy Indian food, thus offering continental dishes as options. The guesthouse is clean, and from what I see management puts emphasis on hygienic standards in all areas. Given the opportunity to go back to IIT-Bombay, we would love to stay in the Padma Vihar Guesthouse again. And by the way, the reception, dining, housekeeping staff are quite efficient and professional. Kudos to management and the staff.

The stay of 12 days here was fantabulous! The property is well maintained, clean and coupled with the excellent service and staff the guest house cab give hotel chains a run for their money!Rooms have central air conditioning , a big screen TV, study table , table lamp, reading lights, electric kettle, a spacious wardrobe with a digital safe, even a small refrigerator is tucked in the room. Breakfast , coffee and tea sachets, 500ml of water and newspaper comes complimentary while you can get excellent buffet lunch and dinner on payment basis, which againain is bang for buck.Pro tip: you can fill your water jug at the dining hall for free rather than buying extra water from room service

Padma vihar guest house is newly built guest house in IIT Powai. Its architecture and design are built like good hotels. It is also very well maintained like good hotels. Situated in beautiful landscape of IIT gives very good view of lake and city.

It could have been just like any other guest house -- I was to revise that opinion once I checked in.The rooms were nice and well-provided, as if it were a star hotel. The view was splendid, the housekeeping answered the calls promptly and internet was a bonus (mind you, this is a guest house!).The food in the dining hall was good and the service could match any good hotel.

I got a lake viewing apartment....every morning the view is so refreshing...rooms are spacious...the view of lake in the morning and the lighted Mumbai in night is bonus

This is the new guest house of IIT Bombay. A pretty great addition to the current 2 namely van vihar and jal vihar. This is run privately and so the service is pretty great when compared to the others. The rooms are a tad bit smaller than its counterparts but this has a 1BHK studio as well but only reserved for visiting faculties. Do select higher floor for a better view. You get a pretty good view of Powai lake and the surrounding Hiranandani locality.
