Its a nice hotel. Big rooms. This days its on rehabilitation. They are doing some works inside. First days didnt like it too much becouse of their services. But. Now they are trying to improve.

Absolutely outstanding hotel perfectly located. Helpful, friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. Also an excellent breakfast buffet. We will definitely come back with friends and I would highly recommend this hotel. The Rooms was very good with comfortable furniture and the bed was comfortable too. We would definitely stay here again.

There was a complimentary room upgradation and welcome drink in my booking. (As we were vaccinated). But the hotel didnt accepted, they mentioned it was only for international passengers. (which was no where mentioned when we did the bookings). Hotel was ok and decent. but basic things were provided after telling them them twice or thrice. ( like toiletries and kettle which were not there in the rooms). We took a package with breakfast ( but they only had omlet bread in breakfast and nothing else) My request is during the time of lockdown when we struggle so much in hotel selection..

The location was really good. The service and staff was absolutely amazing. Had a great time there. Would recommend to visit it once.

Rude assistant manager. Told us to vacate the room as he wanted to give the room to a high profile customer. Made us stay in a room where the air conditioner wasnt working for two weeks and later after he moved the so call high profile customer the air conditioner started to work.

Colaba Place and location is nice but gulf hotel there is lot of average work management, no response from staff etc.

Nice and cheap hotel for residing at Mumbai particularly in Colaba.

I had a booked superior room considering it will be maintained nicely.. however to my surprise it wasnt... There were cockroaches in bathroom.. not at all happy with the service as well... The reception guy gave us the reason that since hotel was just opened after lockdown you may expect couple of roaches... Highly disappointed with the service. It was a complete waste of money not recommended at all

The reason why I have rated this hotel a single star is just coz the entrance only of the hotel looked fancy but the interiors of the rooms where so bad. Firstly the hotel has posted pictures of the rooms that dont even exist in their hotel. They attract people to their hotel by showing us different kind of rooms instead of what they actually give you. When we were checking in the reception was lost and made us wait for a long time to check if we had done a booking or no. Since we were waiting we told the receptionist to show us a room so that we knew what type of room they were giving us but me and my fiance were shocked to see that the rooms were really shabby, the paint on the walls were chipping off and the bathroom looks like a slum toilet. When we brought it to their notice that the rooms on booking.com and the rooms they showed us were completely different. They then told us to wait for the owner who was really arrogant with us. When we started talking to him about the rooms he didnt want to accept the fact that the rooms were really bad. And the hotel dont allow unmarried couples even though we told him we were court married he still didnt allow us to stay and told us to read the policy which actually doesnt mention anything about married or unmarried couples. So if anyone is planning on staying in this hotel you really got to think about it cause youll be dealing with arrogant owners and bad maintained rooms. Thank you.

So i stayed at this hotel for almost 1 week by the end of this December 2020.First incident : The so called Assistant Manager i didnt remember his name , have lost our 3 peoples AADHAR CARD which we gave him for check in purpose. Until next day he didnt gave us back , looking into it we went to ask him and boom we found out that he lost our 3 cards. later after fights, havocs, trauma we went through 7 hours the Manager gave us promise to give our original documents within an hour. later when we got our documents back we saw that its the one which they claimed to be lost. just with new bindings with lamination how can they think will fool us. the same ink, the same cutting, the same en mark which we had in our documents were clearly visible.Second incident : The manager *javed alam* doesnt know how to treat people well . when there are women staying at the room you dont have the rights for coming and asking questions at late night. ( it was Christmas night).Third Incident: we almost changed rooms everyday as AC is a big problematic in many rooms, we even saw 3 to 4 guest leaving the hotel just after check in due to this issue.Fourthly and lastly, NEVER PLAY WITH GUEST DOCUMENTS IN FUTURE AND MAKE SURE YOU TREAT EACH AND EVERY INDIVIDUAL WITH DUE RESPECT THATS WHAT IS BEING TEACHES AT THE MANAGEMENT WHICH YOU ARE INTO ( LOOK INTO THE MEANING OF HOSPITALITY ONCE AGAIN)..THANK YOU !

The hotel is located very close to Gateway of India and Taj, the rooms were nicely maintained, Jabir the Front office manager was very helpful and courteous. Recommended to all travelers planning to stay at South Mumbai.

Stayed here from 30th November - 2nd December. Terrible place to stay. The hotel shouldnt be provided with even a single star. The Room wasnt clean, bedsheets werent clean, cupboards werent clean, TV wasnt working. Walls and roofs had paint chipping off. Complementary breakfast of this 3 Star hotel was a glass of Tea and Vada pav.

Location was fine. But everything else was complete disappointment. The room i stayed in had dust in every possible corner. Toilets were dirty and not even flushed. The room smelled of very strong ittar (perfume) which made it unbearable to stay and gave us headaches. We requested for a room change and the second room had no wifi or mobile coverage. We were so tired to even get another room. After much insisting wifi was enabled. Even the breakfasf option that we took had only 3 range of sandwichws and served in the room. Over all completely dissapointed.

Not worth of living in Colaba!Gulf hotel Colaba didnt make it to my expectations because of various reasons. The hotel staff was in a way behaving very weirdly which made me feel sick for some time. The rooms here are located so deep inside that no sunlight and air ventilation is available. Rooms were quite small and YES, poor cleanliness and the stinking room are there. When I checked into my room, like everyone else, I was expecting a clean bathroom but it went the opposite way. As per the price, the hotel needs to accommodate more to their customers and they are overcharging the same. Overall, it was a decent place to stay. But before booking this, make sure to check out other alternatives available.

Later you have to buy water. Whereas go ibbio says everyday they will be water bottles in the room.There are these arabic shops right at the entrance of the hotel, and we being a young married couple, i could feel the stares and the looks ..which i and my wife were not comfortable with. The security guard was also annoying.But once to you enter the hotel, inside its nice.Let me right here what i didnt like as a couple.We are being married for 2yrs , but my wife has not changed any doumentation address like on her adhar card , voting card etcThere are various oder reasons for the same. So the reception had a problem thinking we are not married, i understand their point of view. This made me feel bad.As i told him i can show you our marriage certifictae. Dont ask the reasons we have not changed the address n al on adhar card.But than he was ok, and alloted us a room.

Hotel was good especially the location plus reception staff were extremely cooperative .all shopping and restaurants nearby . we were upgraded and check in was fast ..we extended our stay ...overall its a comfortable hotel and I recommend the same to all .....

We went for a dinner at Koyla, right above the gulf hotel. The place looked decent but the food could have been better. I guess the place would have looked nicer if it wasnt for the rains due to which they had to cover all seating places with transparent plastics. Service is also not up to the mark.

Cheap stay in colaba very near to Taj hotel. U can see the sea from the hotel rooms facing west. People from the Middle East especially Muslims stay here. Hotel owners not partisan to any religion. I have stayed there number of times. Foods u get cheap near by

Worst experience till now,dustbin wasnt kept in the room,there were insects roaming around side-table. quilt was smelling bad. Also bathroom was not maintained properly. We have added breakfast in our room tariff, and while check in we were told by manager that breakfast will include sandwiches and tea/coffee. But there were only cheese in the bread. Ac was not proper.

Wifi wont work..no tv connection. dont expect A/C in room its just cooler.reception staff was very helpful and friendly.

Pathetic hotel. I visited in Ramadan and the entire staff suddenly realized during this auspicious month that they need to pray till 9.30pm. No service boy was available just guests and they claim it as a Muslim run business. Even in Gulf u dont find such tragic instances where namaz is used as an excuse to escape service. Even if the hotel is on fire theyll ask to not other them as they are in Namaaz! Never stay!!

There is no sign board at the ground level entrance.The receptionist will not guide you. There is only ¹ lift which can accommodate jus 4 person including operator. So he will only ladies in the lift.They will steal things if you are not careful.Room is occupied completely by TV, fridge and bed. So no place to stand. Bathroom is clean, not HiFi. No WiFi and Sim network coverage inside the room. Also they wont provide you WiFi password.Staffs will command you. They will tell that you have to provide them tips. Jus 50 MTS from Taj and Gateway Of India. Please dont opt for this hotel.

Stayed here November 2011. Pictures of the room we initially booked were of a different hotel. When asked for an extra mattress, it had bird droppings on it. Room attendants solution was to turn it over, as they didnt have any more. Nice. After we left we were forced to pay extra, even though we paid in full on Makemytrip. When questioning the extra charge, the cleaning staff said we better pay, as their bosses were in the mafia. There are better places around.

Hi, guys be aware this is most pathetic hotel you will ever stay across the world. Be cautious if you are gonna check-in with your wife. They ask about marriage certification. You will never find anything good about this hotel except the location but interior of hotel is quite worst and you will feel suffocated. You can indeed feel like you are in a gulf country with cheap service staff. Go for any other hotel but not this one. Most of the person who stays in this hotel belong to gulf so you can consider the environment inside the hotel. Staff can not talk even in Hindi leave the english apart.
