I was told consultation fee is 1000. The doctor did a normal check up n told he has to check something put some drops n checked. They billed me for 4200. Be careful. They dont inform you about the charge before doing any extra tests

In the year 2013 My twin daughters eyes were infected with severe viral conjunctivitis that time they were only 7 months old and were totally unable to open their eyes with lot of pain. At first I had been to Dr. Prem Aggarwal at Aggarwal Eye Hospital Andheri East who did mistreat my child with various steriodal eye drops and eye lash surgery which made a white cloud form on one of my daughters right eye cornea. Me and family were in total shock knowing that my child shall loose vision completely if said situation did not heal.Not loosing hope through some known sources I got to see Dr. Agarwal at Clear Vision Eye Centre. I still remember that day when he just checked my daughter without even touching her and prescribed only one drop to be instilled thrice a day. To our surprise! I’ve been seeing Dr. Vinay Agarwal for close to 10 years. Most of my problems stem from long tern contact lens use. I have always been prone to sties and bumps on the eye lids, redness and dryness. In the past 2 years the glands in my eye lids have been clogged, resulting in one eye looking significantly smaller than the other. It started last December (2017) on the right eye. Dr Agarwal fixed that with drops and hot water fermentation… and a temporary ban on the contact lens. Then this November (2018) it was the left eye and was giving me trouble. There was swelling on the eye lid and the muscle just couldn’t take the weight. This time neither the drops, the hot fermentation or embargo on the contact lens helped.So Dr. Agarwal ran a few tests with his fancy diagnostic machine which concluded that the glands in all 4 eye lids we clogged severely. He had to get in there and clean them out. I was a little apprehensive but sick of my glasses and was ready to work towards having my life back sans the glasses.We did the procedure last December (2018) and I was a little uncomfortable because of the anesthetic but I removed the eye patch 4 hours later and was good to go the same day. The left eye lid felt so much lighter and my right lid seemed so much heavier. I went in to see the good doctor the next day… so I could schedule the procedure for the right eye.I know we get nervous when it comes to our eyes but this is a procedure I do not regret. Moving forward I would opted for Lasik surgery and I am finally done with this saga. I can see beautifully and I’m very happy with the care at Clear Vision.Dr Agrawal is abreast with all the latest studies in eye care and I now bring my son to him in hope that he will be able to control the rapid increase in his cylindrical number.
