This has reference to one advertisement for employment by Air India Engineering Services Limited for recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainee (Airport Maintenance Engineer ) wherein the eligibility criteria as set by the organization is as followsEligibility Criteria Candidate having B.E /B.Tech Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical /Electrical /Electronics /Telecommunications /Instrumentation /Electronics and Communication Engineering or its equivalent from Govt Recognized Institute /University and with a valid GATE score of 80% and higher .Now let me give some live example to show how a large section of candidate is being deprieved in spite of having higher qualification.Candidate A in spite of being M.E M.Tech M.S is not eligible for the post as he got admission for Post Graduation Study in a College Universities which do not have GATE Score as prerequisite for admission.Candidate B in spite of being M.E M.Tech is not eligible for the post as he got admission in Post Graduation with GATE Score which remains valid for 2-3 years and is now not valid.
