I completed the jolly phonics teachers’ training program with Phonickids. It was quite informative. The teacher has a vast knowledge of the subject. The program is quite comprehensive.The downside for me was that it was too packed together with less practicum and more teacher talking and giving info about xyz. I’d like for it to be a bit more spread out and allowing for a more hands on approach.This was more like a refresher course for someone who has already done it.I will recommend it to those doing it for the second or the third time.The four stars is for the lack of hands-on learning or it would certainly be a 5 star.The teacher is amazing and full of energy and knowledge.

I was introduced to the chapter of Phonics for the very first time by Miss Shainaz. As a beginner, I was bubbling with a million questions, but as our sessions went by I become more certain and clear about what we were going through. It is a long way to go and practice but I am very glad from where I started. Miss Shainaz has been practicing since 20 years and there wouldnt have been a more knowledgeable teacher than her.

I was keen to do a Phonics course purely to help my daughter read. She has been taught reading using alphabet sounds which wasn’t the way I was taught. I have never been to the institute in Mumbai but we had Ms. Jussa over to our school for a workshop with the teachers.It was an incredible experience the teachers had learning the Jolly Phonics method and strategy to make learning easier and fun.The various sounds of the letters coupled with songs and actions, with the flashcards and books turned out to be a breakthrough in pre- primary education.

Until I met Shainaz jussa, our eminent trainer at the jolly phonics workshop, i hadnt known about it all. I had been struggling to teach my 6 year old son, to read English.. he was able to read and write only a few 2-letter and 3- letter words...although I am teaching English at school to 3rd graders and 5th graders, I never knew that the complexities in reading could be dealt with at this ease.. I was very much excited to see my son reading snap and spin at the end of group 1 activities this very day...I have decided to take this program to the core of my teaching English reading and am going to recommend it to all my friends and co-staff... thanks to jolly phonics..

It was the best decision I made to attend jolly phonics workshop.I came to know that parents mostly prefer jolly phonics when they used to ask me that do u teach jolly phonics method.Its been 5 years but still if I have some doubts, then shehnaaz maam clears my doubts.She is the most soft spoken n kind hearted teacher I have ever met.

Phonic kids...the place i loved the most in my early days on this planet. It was a place, full of fun activities a completely which camouflaged that we were learning some important phonics lessons. Shainaz mam-my first teacher who made phonics damn easy with her innovative methods. She has the skill to groom the young buds and convert them into beautiful flowers. From reading nothing till 8th grade to reading almost every material on science technology and world politics and then getting spectacles for straining my eyes..i feel i could develop the reading habbit only due to phonic kids about 10years after the course. Reading habbit was developed in me long back but then i wasnt finding any topics to my interest. I would recommend to everyone who is new to this planet. Cheers!
