Dr sakhrani is gem of a person. He is very supportive and gives full attention to details for my childs health. The best part is he himself will answer all call no matter what time he is called. Visited the clinic to check cold and fever of my 8months old daughter as our regular paediatrician was out of town. We had to wait 1 hour for our turn to come. Doctor was checking one patient for more than half an hr and rest of the time was on phone. Finally after an hr we were inside the examination room. He asked us to lay the baby on the bed and started examining her. After 2mins of examination, he asked us whether the baby has head control and whether she is able to sit without support. He told that she must be able to sit as she was 8months old. On knowing that she cant sit without support, he asked us to get several tests done as he was unsure about her muscles being strong enough. He also panicked us saying that you will have to do physiotherapy for her to make the muscles strong. He told us the tests would be done at his clinic. In the last 5secs he wrote medicine for cold and fever. How could the doctor arrive on such a conclusion when he saw the baby for the first time ever? Our regular paediatrician confirmed that the baby is absolutely fine and no tests need to be done.

Plus considering the fact that she had a runny nose and fever and that she was just awake from sleep, how can we expect doing such stunts from a 8month old? No offence but even an adult won’t do that when sick and immediately out of sleep. You should have asked what she does instead of asking what she doesn’t. For your information, she rolls over and moves forward really quick and during tummy time, she lifts and holds her head up.And yes, she doesn’t sit without support but is there any hard and fast rule that the baby must be able to sit at 8months? Our paediatrician showed us a WHO chart which mentions a range in which the developmental milestones may be achieved.We had visited your clinic only to get medicine on cold and fever. It feels like we have bought unnecessary tension.Thanks to our paediatrician to have sorted out our queries.

Dr. Sakhrani is a great and an extremely efficient paediatrician and Ive been visiting him since my child was a month old! He is very understanding and listens to my concerns and my child is very comfortable with him. His clinical diagnosis are accurate and no misguidance of any nature. One best thing that he stands out from other paediatricians is that he being a senior doctor, hes always available on call 24/7 which I being a mom of a 5 year old is a huge support system for me.
