She was called for after surgery check up and had to wait for 2 hours inspite of having an appointment just because here they mix up general check up patients and surgery patients. I was their with my mother their on 24th Feb 2021 you can check your camera inside from afternoon 12.00 on onwards till 1.20am. I dont know the name but on the eye checking section when you enter straight last 2 cabins were waiting section chairs are align check your CCTV also I left with my mother without treatment after paying your charges pathetic staff treating people as they are traveling in local train. Also your right side section lady who seats besides lady who does your billing she was very rude as she doesnt care what people going through also she was breaking all que of waiting and taking her own people ahead so pathetic

My personal experience was with Dr. Kulin Kothari and Dr. Saumil Kothari and they are the leaders in this field.I have always been wary of doing LASIK and after 30+ years of wearing glasses i decided to get LASIK done at age 40 after finally being convinced by Dr. Kulin Kothari around the safety and efficacy of the procedure. For some context i live in Austin, Texas USA and had been researching different LASIK centers in Austin TX and Chicago IL and based on the 3-4 centers i visited in the US, the equipment at Bombay Eye Institute was more advanced and they had the latest version of the equipment than the centers in the United States. Finally it was the comfort and confidence i got from the consultation with Dr. Kulin Kothari and Dr. Saumil Kothari that i decided to go ahead and get my eyes treated at their facilities in Mumbai, India.My surgery was performed by Dr. Saumil Kothari and it went as smooth and successful as possible and i walked out 30 mins later with near 20-20 vision after 30+ years of wearing glasses. The post operative consultation and the annual consultations have been excellent and everyone i have interacted with at the facility knows what they are doing and has provided excellent service. The place has high tech equipments and the doctors are pretty helpful however the process from checking in to checkout take looooong time... Actual testing took around 45 minutes however the wait for both days was 3 hours that is because the process is not streamlined..Suggest you visit this place if you have 2 to 4 hours to spare

Worst place in terms of handling patients. They dont value customers time at all. Was not properly guided as to what the exact evaluation will be about and it resulted in just a few measurements rather than the actual evaluation. They were not even ready to share the prescription unless , I told them several times. Disappointed how they want to waste the customer’s time and money.

Doctor Soumil Khotari is the best eye doctor ever!! I got my LASIK done with him and it was the best experience. He did the whole treatment so smoothly and efficiently within a few minutes. I will highly recommend him to anyone who requires eye treatment done.

Dr Kulin Kothari is probably the worst doctor I have come across in my life. I went to him to get a check up done on a stye operation done by Dr Akash at Bombay Eye Institute. I was still feeling uncomfortable in my eye after a month of the operation and felt like 1 stye was left in when I had 2 to 3 of them in my upper eyelid of my left eye. When I entered the room to meet Dr. Kulin Kothati, he checked my eye for 2 seconds and genuinely started shouting and being defensive because he knew I had come to complain about the surgery. I am obviously anxious as a patient and crying in front of him because my eye irritation is causing issues in my life, he further just kept defending instead of offering me a tissue or even helping me calm down. I left from knowing that he had 42 years of experience and understanding that he will not treat me because he believes there is no further check up required and my concern was foolish. If these are the kind of doctors that are treating people, I can ensure you that the business of healthcare will just remain a business whether people are properly treated or not is not a concern especially for this doctor. I will definitely request you to get another doctor for yourself because if you go back with concerns you will be told that your anxious and your feelings are baseless. I feel like the doctors long years of experience may have come in the way of his bed side manner with his patients. Extremely disappointed on this and I hope nobody has to face what I had to today.

One of the worst staff I’ve ever experienced careless doesn’t give a damn receptionist is very arrogant I’ve been waiting in the clinic for 2 hours and no assistance is provided . I regret doing my previous check ups here. I would not recommend anyone here beware. I was in the hospital just to collect a piece of paper and that also they couldn’t find . This shows the management of the hospital. This eye institute is running on some huge names that’s it . Go this institute only if you want to ruin you day !

I had done LASIK eye surgery here an year ago. Doctors and other staff is Very skilled and helpful. I found hospital very organised and well maintained.

I visiting hospital since 2016. And feel as home not a clinic. The behavior of staff i.e. bottom to top is not like a stranger but we feel as a guest and superior hospitality which not seen any where so far. Charges of hospital & cost of treatment is very appropriate, reasionable & genuine with extrem transperrancy. Thanks to founder shri kulinbhai kothari and their far and high vision for common people.

Its a very small clinic and it is really badly maintained. The non doctor staff is seriously pathetic, they will give you an appointment for the doctor which you want but you will never meet that doctor and they will tell you to meet some other doctor you didnt take appointment for. Seriously pathetic. Some doctors as well are seriously incompetent that they would refer someother doctor, cuz they are not experienced. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE.
