A Nice Place With Simple and Sober Sitting arrangement which makes guests feel comfortable. Staff is very good and cooperative. I tried the red pasta - it was delicious and welcome drinks were superb. One should visit during his trip to Mumbai. My Friend from Mexico tried non vegan food and he really enjoyed it. PS : I am 100% Vegan :D

The place hasnt changed in 20 odd years. Sometimes such a concept brings in old world charm but dirty exteriors, very dirty glass roof over the pond with rose petals is what it has to offer. Do not mistake this to be fine dinning as they dont know how to present food. The lamb was good but the crispy fish was abysmal. A bottle of still water was the one they picked up at the store next door at Rs. 30 and charged it at Rs. 160. Sadly I cannot give zero stars but the pictures should help you build a picture of the place. Oh yes and be careful you might end up getting a chair with a distressed seat.

Nice quiet restaurant located behind the Taj Hotel. A mix of Asian and European cuisine...Great food, great service. Though the interiors didnt give an upmarket feel, the prices did. 😁 But considering the location its justified.Good to try at least once.... I liked it...

Was looking for a nice quiet place to hang out with a friend and Indigo was simply perfect. From the ambience to the food, the personalised menu, to the amazing attitude of the staff and their impeccable service. If youre looking for a classy and warm experience, look no further.Raj was great with his attitude and service as was Colin.I had accidentally dropped my fork and was waiting for Raj to request him for another one when their Colin appeared out of nowhere and replaced my fork unwarranted. Amazing!! Such is their attention to detail and to ensure all their guests are well taken care of.Thank you all for a great time yesterday! Will be back soon!

Still a nice place which maintains its standards unlike a lot of restaurants in Mumbai. The brunch pricing has remained the same and the spread decent. Do wish the live bands volume could be lowered because it drowns conversation.

Indigo’s ambience always invites you in with its old Bombay charm. Its friendly but slightly distracted and amateurish staff leave you feeling disappointed because you expect more from a ~20-year-old establishment offering its customers a fine dining experience. Our pan seared potato gnocchi and lobster risotto could definitely have been more flavourful too. This is in stark contrast to my many visits to Indigo Deli in Andheri West in particular and the others in the city, where the staff is attentive and we’ll-informed and your meal never disappoints you.

Located just off the bustling Colaba Causeway road, Indigo has a menu that changes virtually everyday, and is focussed on fresh food. While you will pay a significant premium for dining here, their choice of wine is unmatched and the food is matched by very few places across the city.Indigo also does let itself out for private parties, especially during the winter months when the weather is exceptional.

I was impressed by their attention to detail. First of all they received us with a personalized menu with our name at the top. We had the roasted apple and parsnip soup with cornbread croutons and nuts and second we had the Three mushroom, arugula and mascarpone a barley resotto which was excellent as well as the pickled chili and herb marinated tandoor chicken which was also excellent. The place was modern and what percentage and the attention was excellent also. It is expensive for a meal in India however you usually have to pay a lot more across the street at the Taj Mahal hotel.

About late 90s, a restaurant opened on Mandlik Road that was set to change the face of public dining in Mumbai. Indigo ushered in the era of the chef-proprietor restaurant; the fine dining, standalone restaurant, of contemporary European cuisine, and the prominence of the bar.

Indigo is one of those few restaurants where food has an essence of poetry. Having been a regular to Indigo Deli variants and this being my second visit to Indigos fine dine outlet, I have formed an opinion that Indigo never fails you when you are on an hunt for an extraordinary food experience.Indigos self respect for its place amongst European restaurants is justified by the ambiance. There is a certain romantic feel to the whole experience starting from the offerings on the menu and then the feeling spirals outwards through lights, furniture, walls, windows and the service. Each food item on the menu is made whole with a suggestion of a wine that goes with it. Theres something divine about the recipes being followed here. No matter what you order, its not going to fail your taste buds.We started our First Course with a beautiful story on our plates, one of Steamed Blue Mussels in a provencal sauce. This is easily one of the most enriching mouthful of Mussels I have ever tried. Then we let our taste buds ride on the able shoulders of a Rare Beef Tartare - Beef Carpaccio which came bearing a egg yolk on its head. This was beautifully done. The meat is very tender while managing to keeps its juices intact. Loved this hunky, metro-sexual dish. The scrumptious scallops we got on our table were artfully plated and took our evening to the next level from where we graduated to second course of our evening. The Linguini in spinach pesto sauce was readily tweaked for us to replace spinach with basil. And it turned out to be a brilliant bite. The pasta was perfectly al-dente while the basil pesto was purely un-creamed. This is one of those foodie occasions where I loved that the cream was missing thus presenting an unadulterated pesto moment. The Lobster risotto was a soulful experience with romance of flavors staged on our tongues to fill our mouths with applause. The Pan Roasted Red Snapper came bathed in a champagne based sauce and swam right to bite our hearts. A Detectably Fishy Affair...And then those little sweet short stories for which we eat our stories of meals - The Deserts...The chocolate fondant was lovely with its bittersweet chocolate playing hide and seek with ginger jelly and passion fruit ice cream. And the grand climax came with Belgian chocolate and Hazelnut Dome with hazelnuts crusted on sinful domes. Heavenly...In the end, with all that passion for art of food, Indigo always manages to steal your heart... Stuff Legends are made of...

We went there for the lastday of the restaurant week india (rwi) 2015. I think we went away satisfied. The first course had us wanting for more. Here the carpaccio was the clear winner. Amongst the second course Lamb Osso Bucco was superb with the meat just falling off the bone. Beef medallion did not disappoint either. What did disappoint was the pork chop and for what was a signature dish this was unpardonable. Amongst the desserts the Mille Feuille was average...nothing to complain but also nothing to write home about. Baileys cheesecake was supposed to be a signature dessert. It was supersized but there was barely a hint of the Irish in it. The preserved lemon parfait stole the show. Brilliant citrusy with a nice play of texture and eye catching presentation. The service was impeccable and the staff was courteous
