HORRIBLE SERVICE! Its been 10 days since I have given my laptop and there has not no information on whats happening. I was told I would be informed in 2 days about damaged parts but ABOSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION from the service center. If you call, they will either not pick up or ask you to call back. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Cant believe this is Dell service
Formatted my hard drive without even asking.Had an issue with HDMI and sent it for repairs with our driver. I explained to the salesman the issue on the phone and he said he could solve it. Then when I received the laptop the data was gone. After complaining to the salesman that why was I not informed regarding data format, he said that our driver had signed a form in which there was also a mention that data might be formatted. But the salesperson DID not mention this to me on the phone while giving the laptop and who is going to read a lengthy repair form later. And who would not expect a software formatting for a small hardware issue. Now will have to send laptop to data recovery company.
They dont even check the device just give an form and will say the charge will be Rs1392 and you will have to keep the device for 4-5 days and the data will be wiped out. My screen was not displaying anything how should I had took the backup. The staff is apparently very busy as they have very much workload even for to just see the device. I visited Santacruz Dell Service center they solved the problem in 1 minute as it was only date and time issue. The Professionals here didnt even bother to see first what was the problem.
Do not even have small screw and aperatus and they charge 1392/- for as a service charge ?Which kind of service this is ?
