The main difference in this store and other local stores at Lamington is that other stores will give you a deal you cant refuse like its too good but then later while finalising the deal theyll increase the amount and change specs and try to confuse you into paying more amount theyll deal at 60 and increase to 70 but computer Selection store gave a reasonable rate but didnt cheat later and also they were helpful and gave good and trustworthy experienceReview is dated 14 march 2021 and the prices of components are very high right now and no stock for graphics card anywhere so even they are very expensive right now so its better to wait till April-May till they restock

Genuine shop for assembling your PC at Lamington road.Pricing is decent .Good thing about this place is that they never try to push alternative components instead of the list you have finalized.The parts were sealed and brand new.Mahesh did a very good job with assembling the PC.Bill with proper serial number was provided.Highly recommended

This is going to be a long and an honest feedback about my experience with Computer Selection for buying my computer components.As the lockdown was being extended continuously with no clear picture of when things will get back to normal, I had the urge to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, my favourite game of all time. One game led to another and soon I found my hardware (laptop) insufficient to meet the needs of modern gaming requirements.This is when I decided to utilise all my savings of past couple of years to build myself a new PC. I had carefully researched all my components and parts for at least 2 weeks before I sent my quotation.I came across Computer Selection through a recommendation on an online forum. I decided to WhatsApp them my requirements list late night. Within 15 minutes, I received a reply stating to share the same information via email. I was pleasantly surprised to see a prompt reply at that hour of the night. Needless to say, I emailed them the same list within minutes of that first interaction.On the next day, I received an email with the price for all the components. The pricing was on par with most of the online retailers, however some components were on the affordable side. It took me another day to make up my own mind before I received a call from one of their sales representative, Mr. Ishrat (I may have misspelled here), I asked him to find a particular model of Gigabyte GPU I wanted which was initially quoted as Not Available in the original quotation. Within 15 minutes, he called me back saying that they can arrange for that model. I was excited.Next day, I got a call from Mr. Chintan, who is the owner of Computer Selection. He was polite throughout the conversation and tried to be reasonable about why he couldn’t give any further discount on the components. To be honest, I could relate to the issue faced by retailers in post-lockdown environment, therefore I did not bargain after that point. After a thorough conversation with him, I decided to buy all my components from their shop.All the components were arranged on time and they fulfilled all my requests. All the components came with their serial numbers mentioned on the bill. This will help me incase I need to claim warranty on any component in the future.To anyone reading this and hesitant about purchasing components for their PC, I can only advice them there is no reason for them to be worry. I bring all IT related stuff from this shop since last 13 years... This is by far the best shop in Lamington Road.

The ambiance of the shop is very calm and the employees are very polite. Compared to other shops the first price which they quote is reasonable. They strictly wont bargain but you probably wont find a better deal in any other shops. I have built three complete computer machines from them and they have been useful in every step, from selecting the components and building the system. Other shops may trick you into buying a wrong component or may give wrong prices, which never happened to me at Computer Selection. The bill provided at Computer Selection has a valid GST number along with Serial Numbers of the components. Overall very happy with the store.

I was looking to buy Acer Nitro IPS VG240YS. It was available on Amazon for 17k for a while but it went out of stock pretty soon for me to buy. I started searching for a shop on lamington road where I can buy it. I called more than dozen shops, but nobody could offer me the exact monitor. Then on the next day I came across Computer Selection and was attended by Mahesh Awere. Who offered me the monitor for 16k, a good bargain. Mahesh was helpful and humble enough to courier me the Kingston RAM which I handed over to RP Tech (service centre) to repair, which is half a kilometre away from Computer Selection. WORST experience with Computer Selection, selling sub-standard computers , and prices are also high, talk very rudely after you pay them, owner Chintan and his salesman israr speak very rudely for any query after sales and once you pay them and they dont provide any support after sales even if in warranty.Feeling cheated by them.I think their good reviews are all fakeAs they sold me faulty computer and not providing any support after sales , I have to spend more money to get it repaired from other engineer.I wish I would have gone to some other good store to buy a computer for my son.

The only reason Im giving a 4 star review right now is because it was my first interaction with them (will update once I have more consistent interactions with them). But it was flawless. Avoid online buying during lockdownI had ordered pc parts from them, at the time of ordering even after continuously asking them whether all the parts are available, they always said everything is available. Then even on the day of delivery Mr.Izhar said everything is ready and as ordered by me, then just 15 minutes before delivery person going out for delivery, I get a call from Mr. Izhar saying that the cpu cabinet I had ordered was not available and that a more expensive cabinet is available and ill have to pay 400 extra for the same. Nowhere to go now I said ok and paid the extra 400 rupees and then the order got delivered.Upon delivery the motherboard I had ordered was not delivered and a cheaper version was given. Since there was not much difference in the mother board I had ordered and the one received, I decided to keep it and Mr.Chintan said that he would refund me the difference, extra which I had paid for the mother board. It took them 2 days and numerous messages to refund the extra money I payed.I don’t know about their in-shop customer service and experience but this online customer service and experience is very poor.Edit-As mr. Chintan said in his reply about mr.izhar helping me,after the psu problem he was supposed to call me the next day with details regarding solving my problem,but it took him 2 days to call me and that to after i had written this review about their service.And regarding the products being new and refurbished,today morning after writing this review ,i got a email from your side for sending the serial nos of the products so that you can send me a bill,which is 3 days from delivery of product and no bill.How can i comment on the products being new or refurbished when i dont even have a final bill to prove their authenticity .

I baught a BenQ monitor from the seller during Lockdown. They have delivered me the product on the same day for which they promised.All the courier services was almost not working also no direct courier was available from there shop to my location, they have sent the monitor with there person to half of the way (almost 40km away from the shop) so that it can be delivered via wefast courier on time.I really appreciate such spirit of work at this time of lockdown and cyclone when entire service was badly hit.The level of support on phone calls was also excellent.
