Dear Jigar,There was a two and half month gap due to lockdown. Then the online video classes started. At first, to be honest, I was skeptical about the digital way of problem solving of VFX techniques and software usage. But one thing I realised that in an interactive session even on a digital platform, it helps increase our creative as well as technical horizons due to discussions amongst the students and, of course, the faculty. I would happily attend the course from home in my comfort zone with the same faculty involvement.

I would personally recommend FX SCHOOL for advance Game Art and Digital painting course and its worth for students who make career in Art field.Thank you to the Faculty of Arts specially my teacher for embracing me with open arms and supporting my goals ,express my creative side and come out of my shell.-GHAZALA FAROOQ

SCAM School !!!Dont go here, they didnt give me my certificate even though I completed my course and paid the fees fully. They asked for Rs17000 more just to give me the certificate.Money HUNGRY people

The first six months go pretty slow. That is ₹100k, 2 days a week for 6 months. 3hs/ day. I could not pursue further, it was getting expensive. Also it was pretty far for me.There are macs everywhere, but the beginners only get core 2 duo macs. So do yourself a favor and arrange an editing pc for the projects. The other equipment they offer to beginners is decent enough.The atmosphere is great. Very fancy place. The best thing about FX School are the teachers. I did not get a class from each teacher. But the ones who conducted classes were great. They were very supportive and I felt I could always approach them. They would also go out of their way to help. They are forced to teach at a certain pace in the beginner, specialization batch I understand. So wont blame them.

I completed graphic design in 2015 from this institute. Everything is good, except that after completion of the course, I had submitted my assignments and also got a clearance from my tutor that he has forwarded the request for certificate to the concerned department. But it took me several calls and emails to remind them to dispatch my graphic design course certificate. All my fees were paid on time.

Can I know the (NQF) level of the diploma certificate that youll provide after completion of the course ? I am interested in joining your school. Please revert!

Oh boy Im finally done with my course (Art & Design) and what an amazing year it has been to study and work under such faculty that really want to see you develop your skills as a designer.This review will be a long one, but I assure you its worth the wait....1) Is this institute worth the time and money?-> ABSOLUTELY!!.....Its definitely worth the time and money because the 3 things I took into consideration was :-1) Reputation of the institute2) Duration of the course3) Cost of the courseAnd in all, I got what I was looking for(A top class institute that teaches you in a friendly environment and helps you to change your mindset to achieve your personal goals)Keep in mind......Youre not just paying for the course but for the ambience and quality of technology you require to achieve your desired result and also an environment that will help you evolve your skills as a designer.2) I was already an artist and I wanted to take my skills to the next level, and did I get those skills ?-> Absolutely, the teachers make you slog and criticize every artwork you make till you perfect it and to do such work you need to have laptops and desktops that are fast which they already have, also they recently added newer iMacs and that really helped me complete my work quicker.....3) Do the faculties have experience in the designing field?-> Yes, the faculties work in actual industries and for part time come and teach at FxSchool, so they can give you an insight of how the designing industry actually works and how you can develop skills to be a designer by the end of your course.4) Did I have an option of other institutes besides this one?-> Yes I did, but every institute I looked into was missing atleast one of the 3 things I mentioned earlier.1) Reputation of the institute2) Duration of the course3) Cost of the courseIve seen other institutes but they look really lower grade ..... You work on windows in other institutes because Mac is expensive.....You might pay a lower price for the education elsewhere and might be happy as well but it differs from person to person.....I wanted a one year diploma course, not just to learn the software but to develop a mindset to solve problems and bump my art skills to a newer and a more authentic level. Im happy with what I received and all credits go to the Art & Design faculty 😊👍🏼...FEW TIPS FOR THE NEW STUDENTS :-1) Majority of the students who join the institute come from different educational backgrounds such as (High School, Engineering, BMS, BCOM etc.) and are required to keep practicing whatever that has been taught in class for a minimum of 4-5 hours a day to perfect what theyve learnt and ready to learn something new for the next class.2) Majority of the students are introverts and dont ask questions in class and later end up confused and disappointed. So please ask questions, the faculty will do their best to clear all your doubts.3) This is a creative field not an academic field so dont treat it like academics and try to mug up everything. Learn the methods and style so you can adapt and evolve your skillset. In this field, there is no one set solution to a problem but endless number of solutions and its upto you to creatively approach and solve the problem. The faculty will always be there to guide you.FEEDBACK FOR THE INSTITUTE :-Since Im done with my course Id like to jot down a few points the institute could improve or change.1) Make Art & Design a full-time course rather than a part-time course, which will motivate and keep the students on their toes in submitting their projects.Thank you for reading my review I hope you have a blessed and successful year ahead!!! 😊👍🏼

DO NOT JOIN for VFX. Trust me. The faculty is also not good for vfx. I completed my course last year and once you pay all the fees no one cares about you anymore. Internships will be given they said. Never heard from them after the course got complete, not even an interview was arranged. Can u imagine paying up so much fees and it turned out to be nothing in the end . I tried to apply for the job separately , but first of all no one takes fresher and whatever was taught to us , no one wants that or is taught too less to us. Only one out of our batch of 10 got a job, who tried separately thro contacts(who was practicing vfx from 5 years alreadya andwas a expert),, rest all of us feels we wasted our money..Two stars is only for Ruth mam of CG and Graphic design is good of Fx school and for the staff while joining whos manipulating techniques are on next level and you began to think , the 15 mnth course would be worth and will take u somewhere.
