Everything was incredible from the moment we walked through the door. Our drink server and the young man who brought our food to us were absolutely incredible - so nice and always smiling and willing to give advice on drinks and food. We had the normal and the vegetarian tasting menu, and my husband and I were blown away. Some of the best food we’ve ever had. The ambiance was perfect for our romantic celebration. Beautiful food and fantastic and friendly service. Went for a lunch with friends. Their lunch tasting menu is fantastic value (coming with a whole host of sides included in the price). They were also offering the help to eat scheme on their Saturday lunch menu - which is a very nice touch. Quality of the food was fantastic, would definitely recommend! They also had a separate vegetarian tasting menu which is great.

Great attention to detail results in a level of service (and quality of food, of course) to set this out from the crowd. Attentive without being fussy. Smooth without being pretentious. Relaxed without being lax. Each member of our party declared a desire to return asap. Cant do better than that except yeah, they packed up that which we failed to eat from the taster menu, as a takeaway and it provided a pleasant lunch for 3 the following day!

Wow! One of the best fine dining indian experiences I had in London!! 🎆🎆We visited Trishna for birthday celebrations and the entire experience was spotless. We arrived earlier than expected, but staff was kind and immediately accommodated us to the table. We ordered the 7-course menu paired with a bottle of crispy white wine from Portugal. Service was prompt and staff was super attentive. They took time to explain us all the dishes and kept pouring wine when needed 😜. Food was stunning and wonderfully presented! All the dishes were amazing but the salmon and the roasted lamb were dreams! The meat was so soft and tasty - spectacular! At the end of the tasting menu, staff brought to the table a lovely birthday surprise dessert, which we very much appreciated. Furthermore, the two desserts constituting part of the tasting menu were special: I loved the combination of pineapple freshness with creaminess of the chocolate cake! ❤️❤️We did not manage to finish all the food, so we kindly asked for take away and staff was quick in packing and preparing our food.Overall, I would give 10 stars if that was possible! I completely recommend visiting Trishna, you will have a phenomenal experience and leave with your belly satisfied & a wonderful smile on your face! 😊

Appalling service for a Michelin star restaurant on a special occasionI booked this restaurant for my wife birthday, I had mentioned this in the reservation on that if they could do something for her birthday and also when they calledup to confirm the booking mentioned this and the lady on the phone did say they would do a complimentary cake even though I was fine in paying for this.At the restaurant we did notice another table also had a birthday cake being bought in so thought nothing off it. We had our starters and mains course and then the deserts menu came, I waited for around 10 mins then reminded the waiter about the cake and he nodded.Absolutely nothing came through and then we decided to leave, we called for the bill and just when the bill came, the lady mentioned about the birthday cake, we declined as by this time it was too late. Ideally this should have come right before the desert menu and atleast 20 minutes earlier.Unfortunately the special occasion of booking this Michelin restaurant was spoilt by the poor service at this place, we get better service at our local restaurants near by. Think twice if you are going in for a special occasion and we are not going back here any time soon.Edit - It was not only about the birthday cake but generally noticed the service was slightly different and friendliness level slightly lesser to us as compared to service to other tables, I hope this was not the case as we were the only ones of Indian ethnicity in the restaurant but if this is the case this is highly disappointing taking into account this is an Indian restaurant run by Indians and ideally the service quality should be uniform irrespective for a michelin star restaurant.

We went to this meal as part of an anniversary celebration which when I booked, I requested a special table and mentioned the occasion. The restaurant is small and we were taken to a lovely velour couch booth. The decor is pretty, however due to the small size, it does seem like theres a constant flow of people passing our table and Id prefer a more open space. We had the table for two hours. We ordered the Koliwada tasting menu (6 courses) which at glance £75 seems rather expensive but it was well worth it and it proved great value for money. The staff were very attentive to when we finished each course. There was a small mistake where they brought out the wrong first course however they corrected themselves and gave the correct first course on the house. All the meat (scallop, salmon and lamb) were cooked to perfection - most succulent juicy pieces of meat Ive ever eaten. When it came to the curry main, I did not expect the dal, bread, the vegetable side which made it well worth the value for money. (Id recommend going on an empty stomach because you do get full and the time goes by really fast)The tasting menu was great to sample some of Trishnas signature dishes and you do end the meal feeling satisfied and happy. They even delivered a small surprise dessert on the house to help us highlight our special occasion which was really sweet gesture.

This restaurant was supposed to be a cheap starred restaurant: 35-40£ for a menu (advertised with 3-4 courses), which means 50-60£ in total. However, with a 2 courses dinner and a couple of sides (two bowls of rice and one lentils), we paid 75£ each!! This dinner was worth 50£ at maximum. I had to apology with the lady who was with me. Trishna is a standout. Start off with one of the inventive tea based cocktails with storybook descriptions. The vegetarian tasting menu is one sparkingly fresh dish after another. I added the brown crab to the course and this signature dish is a game changer. Last night we had the tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was truly superb, and the sommeliers knowledge of the wines was impressive, explaining well how the wine would compliment the dish. Only one minor fault with the wrong first course being brought to the table, but that was fixed immediately and with the offer of a free drink. The only real negative we would say was during the last 10 minutes we felt rushed. We knew the booking was for 2 hours, but the speed of the meal was dictated by the restaurant. As we approached the end of the 2 hours, we were asked to settle the bill before finishing our desserts and drinks. Annoying, but not enough to ruin a perfect score.

We went for dinner and first impressions were good. Good attention, reasonable size table and still with some privacy although being pick time and have a very casual feeling. We tried the 7 course meal were you get to decide between couple of dishes. The food was tasty but after some point everything taste the same, we couldnt find much variety in flavours. Food its spicy but we like it and dont have any issues. The main course will completely fill you up. For the price tag, Im kind of surprised about the food since wasnt that special, you kind find similar dishes and taste for a much cheaper price. Dont recommend the wine pairing either since glasses are tiny and price its same as tasting menu. You could have a proper Michelin star restaurant experience with that price. Overall not that nice experience but correct enough.

Having grown up with Indian food and tried it around the world. The trait of good asian food for me is well cooked produce with the right balance of spices (this doesn’t mean that the food has to be spicy). As a highly rated restaurant I expected this to be true throughout the meal at Trisha. Unfortunately, the dinner didnt live up to that standard.Having tried most of the dishes on their taster menu it was only the scallop, chicken and salmon tikka and Haryali bream that I achieved the above and I would recommend. The crab and lamb chop were ok but the chop was too charred which left a burnt bitter aftertaste. The real disappointment was the main course the pepper chicken didnt have any real taste and the saag and daal were too salty. The saltyness ruined the rest of the meal. Also the rice felt undercooked and stale. The only good parts of the main were the naans and the prawn curry. But again not something I could say was worth the price or something you couldn’t get in other Indian restaurant. The one thing I can’t fault was the excellent service, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and were able to recommend a wine that went well with the whole meal. All in all I can’t recommend Trishna as several other Indian places are better in taste and more reasonably priced. However, if you really want to try their food I would suggest you order a la carte and stick to their starters.

I have visited Trishna on 4 special occasions and I must say each time the food has been fabulous. My first visit was in 2013 when I had a 6 course tasting menu which was outstanding.I visited in the summer of 2017 with a business associate and we had another tasting menu which was just as good.I have visited twice this year, once for a birthday and once for Valentines.I’d say the best items on the menu are always the seafood options - the soft shell crab and hariyali bream have been memorable. The service is very good and not so overwhelming like other Michelin starred restaurants. The restaurant is a good choice if you want Michelin level food in a slightly more relaxed environment. The restaurant is always busy and has a calm and relaxed feel with very good ambience.I don’t drink alcohol but my friends who have visited the restaurant with me in the past have said that the wine pairings with the dishes are perfect. The food is reasonably priced for a Michelin grade restaurant in my opinion - especially the lunch set menus.I always come here to celebrate a special occasion.

The worst food ever..!! Yes..!! I don’t know how and why people have posted good reviews ( hope the Resturant isn’t posting good reviews for themselves) when honestly in my experience your food is not one bit Indian…!! Nor is it tasty and so effing overpriced..!! I spent £150 for 3 dishes and 2 drinks and no they dont come with gold..!! And yes please tell your chef again that prawn curries aren’t supposed to be sweet (sweet dishes are called as kheer/payasam/etc) any briyani in the world needs to be cooked in the masala (hence the name biryani) and not seasoned like herb rice, grilled kebabs should be cooked in the grill from scratch and not cooked before and then reheated in a microwave..!! So mad at you guys..! Don’t ever tell an Indian that the food you gave is Indian food. Trust me I don’t mind teaching your chef the basics of Indian cooking and Indian masala..!! And next time you serve rice make sure the quantity can at the least feed a toddler and not fluff 2tbsp of rice in a good for nothing sauce bowl..!! I wish I had clicked pictures, I was so mad that I just wanted to get out of your restaurant. Bad job guys. Very misleading.

Deliciously spiced authentic cooking delivered in a stripped back minimalist space in the heart of Marylebone. Aside from the exquisite plates, what really stands out is the wonderful warmth and hospitality of the entire staff. Had booked a table for a special occasion lunch on the weekend, but the entire party was only seated an hour after the booking time due to unforeseen delays. Called ahead to notify the restaurant of our situation - they were wonderfully accommodating and informed us our table would not be given away nor would we be under any time restrictions. Laura, who looked after us throughout the afternoon, was absolutely lovely, very friendly, attentive and engaging. We opted for the four course tasting menu which is generous with its portions and provides a worthy selection of what Trishna offers. The telicherry squid and shrimps are simple but well made, though perhaps the squid was slightly on the chewy side. My next course, the duck chutney seekh, was tremendous! The combination of the tomato tokku filling and pineapple chutney complements the duck incredibly well. The gongura lamb is the right kind of fiery and epitomises Trishnas culinary direction - refraining from mild flavours to create something more intense. The deconstructed falooda and kulfi (kesari teeli kulfi) perfectly rounded off a satisfying gastronomic afternoon during which we were made to feel at home throughout :-) Highly recommend!
