Lab has always been our favorite place to chill and have a good meal.Recently theyve shifted to Chowpatty, bang opposite to Starbucks. We love the ambience and the interiors.Super classy and supper comfortable. As usual the food is fabulous here.Definitely the texture and the presentation of the food speaks volumes about the brand name Lab.We tried several dishes and everything was amazing.Love the presentation of Mojito in a test tube and milkshake in a lab jar.We loved how they severed Pani Puris... please check out the photos below for moreWe recommend youll to try out their Cigar Rolls and Stuffed Cheese Balls.Definitely one must try the INDIAN FOOD here... so delicious and wholesome. The restaurant has recently started serving Indian cuisine and we are absolutely in love with the taste and also with the portions of the dishes. The pricing is pretty decent… Do check out their Sizzlers.. it’s yumm.Their Paneer Lababdar with Butter Naan tasted fabulous. We loved the overall vibe here and definitely its a goto place to have a good meal and to chill out with your friends and family. Can’t wait to be here super.
The staff is very polite and friendly.Ambiance is nice like a sweet little cafe. The food is good too however the portion size is a little small if you go as groups but perfect incase two people go together. The overall experience is quite nice.Must try the garlic soup, burrito wrap and kung pao potato starter. Good service.
Hello..my first experience to the lab restaurant was amazing I loved the vibes around me and also the food was amazing ☺️
The food was tasteless and the quantity and quality was not worth the price. Also the place has no customers hence all the staff keeps on staring at the customer present over there. The place is also very small opposite to what is shown in the images and there is no regular water forcefully you have to buy mineral water.
After a tiring weekday routine, we were looking for a place to relax. Stumbled upon The Lab, Malabar Hills with a chill vibe and good food.Starting off with Cheese Corn Balls, crispy and well coated with creamy mixture. An all vegetarian outlet definitely calls for these!Moving onto the Pink Sauce Pasta, we felt the taste was super homely and comforting. Every bite was a delight. The Pizza Margherita was average but overall the food was extremely reasonable for the price.PS. They have games and comfy mattresses to help you destress!
Everything we ordered was just perfect in taste, food is fresh and staff is very courteous. It has all the dishes in Indian,Italian and Chinese cuisines..must go for great dining experience
A hidden gem in Walkeshwar, this cute little place is perfect to spend time with friends over lip-smacking vegetarian food, shakes, coolers and games like Jenga, Uno, Connect 4 etc. They serve food and drinks in unique lab apparatus like testubes, beakers and tall cylinders. The decor is also done keeping with the theme which takes you back to those school days spent in chemistry labs. Even the menu booklet is designed to look like those spiral notebooks we used in school!Coming to the food, we had:Spicy American Cheese Corn Ball: One of their bestsellers and rightly so! Served with spicy and minty mayo dips in two syringes so that you can inject the exact amount of sauces you wanna have. Must try!Paneer Basil Skewers: They use fresh, house made paneer. The hot garlic sauce served alongside the dish was delicious and went well with the crispy fried paneer.Money Bag: Small fried potlis with a stuffing of flavourful minced paneer. Loved those crunchy bites with sweet chilli dip!The Lab Special Pani Puri: Amazing presentation with long testubes filled with sweet and spicy water. However, Id have liked it better if the puris were stuffed with something more than just boondis.Penne Arabiatta Pasta: Your typical tangy red sauce pasta. The quantity of cheese could have been more to balance out the excessive sour-tangy flavour.Rustic Italian Pizza: Thin crust pizza with toppings of mix bell peppers, black olives, zucchini and sun dried tomatoes. Baked well with lots of mozzarella cheese.Cottage Cheese Steak: A satisfying main course. Do order! Colourful rice served with fresh grilled paneer with a side of lightly roasted veggies. Came with a bowl of barbeque sauce.DessertChocolate Fondue: A bowl of chocolate sauce served with chunks of kiwi and apples. Not very impressive.Nutty Buddy Waffle: MUST order. Perfectly made waffle coated with Nutella and topped with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Recommended!Drinks and ShakesLemongrass Cooler: Strong lemongrass flavour. Very refreshing. Served in tall cylinder.Lab Special Mojito: Minty and refreshing. Nothing extraordinary if youve had mojito before.Pomegranate Apple Cooler: Loved this! Do try.Bubble Gum Shake: Didnt expect to like this one so much! Balanced on sweetness and yummy bubblegum flavour. Good consistency.Overall, we loved our experience here even though were hardcore chicken lovers.😂We loved the peppy ambience too; perfect place for youngsters. Staff was polite and well-versed with all the dishes.Note: We called for small portions (as reflected in pictures) to avoid wastage. Actual portions are quite good.
Located at Malabar Hill, The Lab is a small eatery based on a Laboratory theme as the name suggests. Filled with pretty interiors as per their theme, this place has a unique way of serving their dishes using various types of Lab Equipment. It consists of a small ground floor and a comfortable seating on the first floor as well. The one thing which adds more to the ambiance of the place is that they have a section of seating where you can sit on the mattresses on the floor making it really comfortable experience and a variety of fun board games to play with while you sit and eat.Coming to the food, we started our Foodscapade by ordering Kung Pao Paneer. Their service was quite great as it arrived extremely quick! The quantity was good for the price. The paneer was fresh and soft accompanied by onion and bell peppers tossed in Kung Pao Sauce. The sauce was really tasty and tangy and it was spiced at a medium level. The dish tasted SO YUM that it was finished in just 2 minutes.Second up we tried the Alfredo Pasta! Again the service was quick! The pasta looked really great and the first bite we ate, it was really cheesy and creamy and we felt that in every bite. It had a little sweet aftertaste to it as well. The only thing that he pasta missed was some veggies in it. None the less it should be must try for all the white sauce lovers.Next on our table was the Spicy American Cheese Corn Balls. The dish consisted of 6 cheese balls had a different presentation with dips filled inside injections and that added a nice element to it. The cheese corn balls were very cheesy from the inside and perfectly golden crispy on the outside. Although there were more corns and less cheese which we didnt really like.To finish our meal we ordered the Nutella Sundae for dessert. It consisted of two scoops of ice cream topped with chocolate sauce and Nutella served in a glass shape of a waffle cone. It was not great as the name being “Nutella” sundae, it lacked Nutella as there was hardly any in it which left us with just two scoops of ice-cream basically. Wouldnt really recommend.Overall, the Lab is a good hangout place to visit with your friends and have a good time. It is priced moderately but having Zomato Gold makes it really economical. If you are with your squad in town, you should definitely give this place a try.Foodscapdes Rates: 7/10
This place has a uniq way of offering food. When you you will order some food they will offer you food in lab material for example, chatni in test tube, cheese in syringe etc,Here they have also kept few games like uno,Jenga, chess etc. You can play while eating or between the food order and food arrival time. Food taste is good.
This tiny cafe is situated in Malabar hills. The cafe is very small and overall look and feel of the place is okayish. The food is disappointing and the service is also not great. There are few things in the menu which a special i feel only those dishes are worth eating, everything else is tasteless
It was very good unique kinda cuisine in a way but lockdown I think did them in staff is good service too good fora small set up
Small place. It was very crowded, even though it was a weeknight. I am told lunch times are empty.Inspite of very limited space, theyve a lovely play area upstairs with simple games. Most kid-friendly restaurant in Mumbai.Prices are pocket friendly & helpings are generous. Food is tasty but menu is limited with maximum options in starters, which are very popular. I enjoyed their money bags, which is like a paneer wonton (see photo).Very interesting decor to simulate a science lab.The staff is very friendly & obliging but service is slow.
If you are a cheese lover must try this amazing crispy cheese corn balls oozing with cheese and served with injection full of mayo which taste better with cheese balls which is from the lab also tried the pink sauce pasta though the quantity was less but the quality of taste was good.Place :5/5.Taste :5/5.Price 4/5.

Place changed to little hill cafe awesome new place
The cafe is ideal for an evening out with friends. The serving is made to match the theme of a lab. Its interesting how the pani puri is served in test tubes. The variety is moderate and the rates are slightly high for the quality. Jain options available too.
Food was excellent. Nice ambience. Had birthday party. They gave us the whole upper section. Children really enjoyed. Service was good, quick n up to the mark. Gave us the food what was decided for the menu.
Located at Malabar Hill, this is a great place to chill out with family and friends. I went with my friends without knowing anything about this place and I was happily surprised with quality of food, quick service and good hospitality with they show to every customer who comes to visit themIts a pure vegetarian place but trust me you wont miss your non veg as the vegetarian food they have is not your usual veg food. Its with a twist and make your taste buds dance in joy
A small cosy place with Indian seating. Allows you to play cards as well as board games. You can order different kinds of food like fast food or Italian etc which is served in medical laboratory style. Good variety of food and specially for kids too. Staff is friendly as well. Place is hygienic. Good for youngsters to hangout as well.
Amazing food cutee ambiance worth the food💯✨
Tasty food. Reasonable rates. New food items. Good ambience. Slow delivery of food.
Good service.Quality of food is also great. Its a small place perfect for going out with friends and family. However there is no proper toilet here which causes problems. Very unhygienic toilet.
Cozy place to spend Quality time. Good food options. loved the environment and surrounding of the cafe. Parking is really headache though.
We ate full of veg one thing I say about it is decoration of dishes, awesome
The name says it all.. Based on the theme of a lab. Being a science student I was very eager to try out this place. The ambience felt very cozy n calm. The interiors are very well designed suiting to a lab. But the food didnt impressed me much.. Drinks/chaats were also not available at that time. If they upgrade the food menu n taste, it can become more popular
Floor seating available. Descent italian food. Service is a bit slow. Good music. They used to have games here. Now they dont. Good for a get together of friends
Tasty Food... Nice place to spend some time with you friends. The also have games you can play and chit chat..
The staff was polite but the serving was slower than my liking.Their cheese corn balls is a bestseller and a must-try. The paani puri is acceptable, albeit the innovative presentation.Milkshakes were quite delicious too.The three cheese pizza was too thin and plain. The cottage cheese concoction couldve been much better had the tart been fresh and crumchy as it was supposed to be.On the other hand, the ambience needs a massive upgrade as the whole place seems to be in dire need of regular maintenance and replacing some outdated/old decor.
Located in Walkeshwar Malabar Hill, is a small but casual joint serving good VEGETARIAN dishes.... Mostly its crowded by teens....Panipuri, corn cheese balls, and mojito is a must try....
Very slow service but the food is nice as well as the ambience. They also have some board games so its fun to hangout with friends
Really good cafe to chill with friends amd play games....good music...good food
Variety of cuisines served. My favorites: Cottage cheese concoction and Khow suey
Good ambience, and great food. Has its own unique style and perfect for an evening of relaxing. One can stretch, sit and relax. Serves one of the best waffles I have had.
No AC, no proper seating. Food quality was pathetic. Service was miserable

Awesome taste and unique style, must try. Nice ambience. The place is located just near the Khandoba Temple along the road that leads to Raj Bhavan. Now this place is permanently closed and another restaurant has taken its place by the name Little Hill Cafe. The photograph of the place has been updated
Small place, good food, parking little far on road, moderate pricing, need to check on cooling of AC & flies etc,
The most disappointing place ever. The staff is so rude that it is unbelievable. I ordered pesto sauce pasta from swiggy and i could literally county only 15 pasta prices in my box. The rest was entirely empty. When i called the restaurant the person who answered was so rude and he started shouting on the phone. Did not expect this from a restaurant located in malabar hill and definitely not with a customer who lives in the same area.I DO NOT REMCOMMEMD THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL
Cozy place, good food with good staff
Not a very great experience. The menu was very restricted. The food ordered had cockroaches and had to return it back. The food is costly compared to the quality. Did not accept credit card and had trouble making the payment
Different ambience and an unusual style of eating. The Lab way. Food is average. There are few games around like jenga which is fun for elders and kids both.
Super place... Good combination of food and lively ambiance... Service is awesome and quick.
We visited the place on weekday. Place is small but can accommodate up to 7-8 on a single table. Service is very slow but you can play games like ludo, uno while you wait for the food. Food is okay. Staff is friendly and helpful.
This place is totally amazing!. I loved the ambience there and the service was too good . The quality of the food offered was perfect . The name is The Lab which perfectly suits to the service . The pani puri offered in plates and the chutneys offered in test tubes was awesome. I loved the food and will head up a visit again.
Loved the ambiance and the staff were quiet friendly. The food was enjoyable and they had an unique way of presenting the food. The price of the food was very cheap comparing to other eateries in the locality. Had a Great Time.
The ambience was good. It is a rather small place, it was quite a quirky place but the food I had only jalapeno poopers and a virgin mojito and it was ok nothing to write home about. Overall a good experience
Good place with a pleasant vibe . I ordered Mac n Cheese pasta and panini sandwich. Games are also available for playing with group. In all one good experience. 🙂
GOOD ambiance, good food.can improve on service thought like the a bell or ring to call someone and they only appear that time.
Good place for teenagers. Served in an interesting way makes u feel more hungry. Food quality is also good
Food is amazing 👌 quick service, just theres no car parking and thats a big issue
Though very small place food they are serving is really good in taste..worth visiting
The ambience is amazing. The experimented food is good. Thumbs up!
Worst food !!! Dont waste your money here not even worth it !!! Also this place has bed bugs...
Small Place but Good food. Weekday is a better option to go, to chill for some more time with special people.
Nice food. Short staffed. Too noisy
Good place for eating with frnds and family
Small place located at Teen Bhati in Malabar Hill area of South Mumbai. Just a few tables. Popular with the local public. Food is average.
Nice and simple food.. good place for free time
Pretty cool place..Good place to hang around..Interesting food and beverage selection
Great veg eatery ! Must must try corn cheese balls and Thai curry (best in town)
Good place to chillax with family ..& good is yummy &delicious
Best place can go with friends and family
Nice food but cost is too high compare to another hotels
Awesome food good price and excellent choice of menu
Innovative idea, nice arrangement, great food, courteous staff, overall a pleasent package.
A wonderful zomato find and a keep. The interior, food and service is excellent. Dont miss out on cheese corn balls and lemon grass cooler. The thick shakes are awesome too. They chairs and dastarkhaan seating. The have some games and screen too, to keep one occupied till the food comes.
Lovely Food... Innovative Concept... Good Service.... Great Ambiance... Lab is the Fab
Ambiance 3/5 Food 4/5 Service 4/5Money ₹₹₹
Atmospher and interior is too damn good. But not worth the price.
Service is too bad and d manager was so rude ...dey give 1st preference to swiggy n Zomato ...dey dont care about customer like sitting for 1 hr after ordering
Ordered Pasta and Lime Juice. Mediocre taste. No value for money. And the seats were very small and uncomfortable. However, the seating in the upper area of the duplex looked more comfortable.
Quality and Quantity at its best❤️
Great food in a nicely made small restaurant at the end of walkeshwar. The food did however take long to come on a busy sunday. Hence the 4 stars.
Small pure veg restaurant. Very good at reasonable price
The food is awesome, service is quick and efficient...overall paisa vasool
Lovely place and very nice Jain food
The place has an extremely good service as well as quality
Best place in Mumbai to hang out or dinner
One of the worst restaurant I have came across in a while. I ate this restaurants food two time and both the times it was disappointing. First time I ordered desi nachos and Pani Puri. Both the food items were very average to taste as compared to the high pricing. Second time I ordered online through swiggy. I ordered lasagna and brownie shake. Lasagna was worst food I have ever eaten in my life. It smelled bad and also tasted like a home-cooked sabji. Brownie shake was average compared to the price. In all this restaurant is not at all good in food quality and quantity. Only decor is decent and hence the food is priced that way.
A small restaurant serving a variety of food but not everything is as youd expect it to be. Service is a little laid back. They have fewer board games now than before. I like their Chana Chaat that has fried chole tossed in chaat masala along with yellow bell peppers. Paneer Chili, Chili Cheese Toast and Cheese Garlic Bread are also good. Avoid the tea and go for the coffee instead.
Superb foob, nice ambience, one of the nice place youngsters to chill and fun
Love love love ... Amazing place to chill out .
The board games at the place is added delight. Pani puri is not up to expectation as seeing in the images totally not worth it. Only tasty food are its deserts and frenchfries and pizza
Had the famous pani puri over there. The taste of pani Puri was very good and the other food items we ordered.... The idea of serving it in testubes and conical flask reminds you of your high school education.
Located in Dahibai Building near Teenbatti, Walkeshwar Road, Malabar Hill; The Lab is a pure vegetarian place offering Italian, Continenral, Fast Food and Beveages and have a large amount of dishes which can be served to Jains too.*Below are the food and drinks which we tried:**ENTREES:*# Spicy American Cheese Corn Balls – This dish is one of their best sellers and after trying we sure knew why. 6 pieces of Corn Cheese Balls stuffed with mozzarella cheese were served with spicy dip and minty mayo dip in two syringes which can be either injected in these balls or sprinkle on top as sauces. A Must Try Dish !!# Bruschetta Jain – 6 pieces of bruschettas topped with spinach, tomatoes, olives and lots of cheese. We ordered this dish as a Jain option and we liked it.*CHAAT:*# The Lab Special Pani Puri – Another inhouse speciality, this dish has amazing presentation with 4 long test tubes 2 of which are filled with sweet brown water and other 2 with spicy green phudina water along with 8 puris filled with boondis. Another recommended dish to try here !!*FRIES:*# Mexican Fries – Looking for some spicy fries? Then Mexican Fries is the answer. Fries topped with Mexican sauce and spies were served in a triangular dish and they were really delicious. The taste of Mexican sauce was really complimenting with the fries.*SANDWICHES:*# Mumbaiya Sandwitch – Are you a sandwich lover? Then try this one. Served in Mumbai style, this one has potato stuffing with other vegetables and served with some potato wafer too.*PASTAS:*# Penne Arabiatta Red Pasta Jain – Your typical tangy red sauce which we opted with penne pasta along with olives and cheese.*PIZZAS:*# Rustic Italian Pizza – A thin crust pizza which was topped with mix bell peppers, black olives, zucchini and sun dried tomatoes and baked with lots of mozzarella cheese.*MAIN COURSE:*# Thai Curry with Steam Rice – As we got this dish on the table, the aroma of cocnut based Red Thai curry was so nice that we could hardly wait to try it with the steamed rice portion. It definitely tickled the taste buds and we loved it. Recommended to try !!*NUTELLA LOVERS:*# Overloaded Nutella Brownie – A soft gooey brownie mixed with Nutella topped with ice cream, goodness of chocolate and sprinklers as well as two chocolate sticks which we finished to the last spoon in the cup. Recommended to try this !!# Naughty Nutella Shake – Nutella is like bae. Served in a flask, the Nutella flavor was rightly mixed which could be tasted in every sip and the shake was amazing.# Nutty Buddy Waffle – A 2 piece waffle topped with Nutella, Chocolate Sauce and whipped cream. However the waffle could have been a bit soft.*THICK SHAKES:*# Strawberry – Strawberry flavoured thick shake with not too much creamy but a balanced amount of flavor used to make it soothing.# Bubble Gum – A thick shake which had a perfect balance of sweetness with yummy bubblegum flavour*LIQUIDS:*# Lemon Grass Cooler – Served in tall cylindrical jar, this had strong lemongrass flavor.# Lab Special Mojito – A minty Mojito drink served in tall cylindrical glass which was refreshing.# Pomogranate Apple Cooler – A combination of pomegranate and apple juice presented in tall cylindrical glass.Overall, its kind of a hidden place in Walkeshwar which is not explored by most people and it’s a perfect place to spend time with friends over some lip smacking vegetarian food and shakes while relaxing over the comfortable sofas and playing the games. Although located in Malabar Hill, they have kept cost effective pricing and the service was nice. The staff has good knowledge of the food and its ingredients and the place has a floor seating at the top which is actually very nice and relaxing. Definitely visit this place.🍴 Always hungry for more 🍴For more Foodfun please follow me on Zomato and Instagram, Thank You :)Instagram zaveri_dhavalSnapchat zaveridhavalZomato zaveridhaval
