Very nice restaurant. Last Saturday, it was my first visit to this restaurant because I wanted to try its food and experience the quality maintenance. And, it didnt let me down. The food (my order was Mini Thali @ Rs. 98 plus 1 glass of Buttermilk @ Rs. 20 and Sheera @ Rs. 20) served here is really very tasty. It mesmerized me a typical South Indian taste, which I had been eating there for 4 years. I must say that this place is good have lunch at. The quality of food items have remarkably kept upto the mark.
Takes me back to Udupi, food, cost, quality of service and location is excellent! If they renovated, they could attract a higher price but its always going to be a question. Worth a regular visit.
A nice udipi place around the fort area. Try any south indian food here. One waiter though is extremely rude. Does not give any respect to you or your order. If you dont get hurt from the menu card getting hurled at you, if your right order gets heard and served, you have a wonderful time!!I would just say that despite the treatment, I am a regular customer.
This is a good restaurant for South Indian dishes. Affordable price. Good taste. Enough quantity.
While searching for new food joint for breakfast (in this area) found this place. The handwritten board caught the attention on which one of the menu item was bun puri. Ordered and tasted the dish. Nice (bit sweet) !Breakfast Buffet .. a different concept .. seen here.Other couple of dishes tried.Neat and clean ambience. At counter ready paan was available.
Try the Pure Filter coffee and the Vada Pav, everything cooked here tastes like homemade. Amazing restaurant.
This used to be my everyday lunch place when I was working in the Fort area. This is by far one of the most affordable, good in taste, quick service and well located places to eat at at Fort side. Not a typical Udupi restaurant being an Udupi restaurant.P.S. You can have food 365 days a year here without upsetting your stomach.
Authentic south Indian fare. Nice and healthy food

It is one of the oldest eateries in Fort area. Has kept the tradition of the place and food.
Very reasonable south indian and punjabi food is served here. Specialities served here are pav bhaji, Idli wada, dosa, thali, veg biryani, veg pulav etc. Staff is also good.

New Anand Bhaban, located at the beginning of Mint Road opposite GPO, has been my favorite restaurant in Fort for the last 10-15 years. Mini thali or thali is the best and the right amount of Udpi Marathi meal at the right door for lunch. I havent had as much breakfast as I would like at the door for breakfast, but I have to, because of the fast service and plenty of comfortable seating arrangements, we can have a very reasonable meal here. You must also go and visit New Anand Bhuvan in front of Ganpati
