No Debit card or credit card is accepted in Non AC dine area... And menu here is inexpensive...

Quick bite restaurant. Decent crowd. Very next to mulund station. Taste was nice. Very well maintained. Fast service. We had veg pulav which was awesome. Have two Sections AC and Non AC. Cash payment only for Non AC section which is not good, because in todays digital world everyone prefer card 💳 payment. They have to change this rule. No separate parking due to station road.

Vishwa Bharati Restuarant is good family veg restuarant located just opposite to Mulund Railway Station.It is particularly known for serving crispy and fresh medu wada and idli sambhar.In fresh juices,the watermelon juice is must try option from their menu.The ambience of the restuarant is good.They have non AC dining area on the ground floor and the AC on the first floor.The staff are very friendly and polite.The service received is very pleasant.

This place is best if you want to escape the station area crowd and have the usual & simple old style restaurant experience.

This hotel reminds me of my childhood days... its just opposite to Mulund Station. My Dad also prefers to have meetings with clients here nd the breakfast menu is quite good. Cleanliness is well maintained.

Legends are of 3 types; one those who were once legends but just fade away, two who adapt & reinvent themselves as per the changing time and the third who stand tall and don’t change in any circumstances.This is the last of VISHWA trinity that ruled the restaurant scene in Mulund West in my growing up years; Vishwa Mahal, Vishwa Samrat, & Vishwa Bharati. The first one closed business and rented its space to McDonalds, the second one reformed itself into a fine-dine, the last one however stood steadfast in face of all adversities.Gone are the loyal crowds which used to throng here and the prices have sky rocketed, the inflation has taken its toll here as well. The restaurant now struggles to keep its nose above water.I visited here after a long time @ around 8:30 am and was surprised / shocked to see it half empty, which used to be fully occupied.Ordered for a Idli + Wada. Idli was soft, fluffy and hot off the stove. Wada was crispy and of a decent size. The sambar is sweet and absolutely non-spicy, typical of North Karnataka flavor, with an odd white pumpkin here & there. The chutney is thick, made of loads of coconut and ground with spicy green chillies, it was yummy.Also ordered for a Sada Dosa, which was huge & crispy.The South Indian fare here is dependable and can order anything off that menu.The ambience is nothing to rave about but there was a foul stench emanating near the entrance but went away as you walk inside the restaurant.All in all, it was a walk down memory lane for me. The taste hasn’t changed a bit in all these years especially the taste of the chutney. This by itself is no mean task to retain the taste for over 20 years, this is as far as I remember it; the restaurant wold be over 50 years old. Service is also quick and with a smile.The only changes have been; increase in the prices of the items and the dwindling crowds

I know this place since more than 40 years! The food has remained as good as ever. The south Indian specialities are excellent here and you cant have enough. The decor and ambiance should change though. Theres lot of scope for improvement on that front. But as it remains busy from 5.30am-10.30pm where is the need to change anything!!

First and the last choice for South Indian food....but nowadays they had increased the price and somewhat the portion also getting less with what we use to get before. The owner should look into the pricing..... otherwise its excellent in taste...Go for it guys.

They have a common sitting area downstairs and air conditioned sitting on upper floor. Medu wada sambar is my favorite here and dahi wada is very addictive.

My family has been frequenting this place for quite a long time and we just love Mysore masala dosa which is smeared from inside with green chutney ( real mouthwatering) and medu wada.Havent being to the upper level as we often get seats and the service is quick.just a stones throw from Mulund station,west side.parking is definitely a BIG problem n normally we wash down thd food either with sugarcane juice or icecream (both the shops are bang opposite to this rest)

For the first time in my life at 55 i actually ate chutney and not just tasting it.We went for dinner and had mutter paneer. Before our meal came we got the chutney and onions, so I tasted it - made from mint, and some other ingredients it was tasty as was our meal.One would not expect the quality based on the appearance of the place, but definitely worth a try.
