Book point is very famous and old shop in our location. They are 25+ years old. From my jr kg to degree all books I have purchased from book point only. They have all variety of Books available, if any book is not available then they can make it available as per our requirement.

It was a very good place to buy from in recent years but growing popularity has made the shopkeepers rude, adamant, and it is now become about looting people. You make a small mistake in buying, you got their to return it within an hour of purchase and they outrightly refuse. Disgusting people. Using their name but such behavior is unacceptable.

The worst book shop with the worst staff. They promise to refund 50% of the book amount in 1 year but act as if they are doing you a favor by returning your money. Also they never fully return the money and will take only 1 out of 6-7 books you buy.

This place is running from years when I was in 10th.. you get all types of stationery items and second hand books which you can buy in half rate they give you the stamp on it.. and after you one year you can return the book and get some cash of it..

They have a huge stock and most books youll need for formal education at school and College...However theyll show you the more expensive item always. The lesser expensive alternate has to be dug out by your own efforts by repeatedly prodding them. Otherwise good... Keep alert and they really have a huge stock.

Worst place to buy books. Owner is very rude and if you return the book they will ask you to come some other day and make us roam at their place and waste our time there. If you return the book they will give you less money as compared to other book stores.

Very customer unfriendly and curt people. Probably because of the sheer number of people who come there to buy. At times, even if they have the book, they will make you visit multiple times as they do not have the time to go and fetch the book from their storage. And this is despite them committing on the phone. Pls go to other book stores where customers are treated as customers.

Very bad coordination, I was coordinating for IB DP2 books for almost 15 days. Every call they asked me to re-whts up the textbook details and would assure will receive a call in 1 hour. I could have understood if it was for just the 1st or 2nd call but everytime I call it was same drill.. call-whts up- wait for an hour or forever.Nobody called. Finally I gave up and approached other store.Very disappointed.

At the time of purchasing,they behave very good but when you go to them for returning the book for money they are like you are returning late you should come early , there is no signatures on stamp may be you are returning you friends book, they cut the 70% returning money in between arguing for some stupid things one time is okay but every time they are like this only better to go some others shop.

Dear Parents and Students,Kindly do not buy any books of School or College from Book Point shop for the following reasons, I had a horrific experience with the rude and fraud shopowner. 1) The shop owner and his accomplices are very rude in speaking. 2) The shop owner does not put stamp on all the purchased books, hence next year when you go to give him back he doesnt accept the books saying that the stamp is not there.3) He is taking complete advantage of parents helplessness who are at his mercy due to their childrens education. 4) Education books are supposed to be given at discounted prices but instead the shop owner charges exhorbitant prices for the books, even while returning the books the shopowner pays us very less amount because we parents never check the amount on the books. Requesting all parents and students to boycott the shop book Point and his rude owner and his accomplices so that they may realise the importance of a customer.You may buy books at a discounted price from bhavans book stall or good luck book shop from Jogeshwari east, they treat you with honour and dignity.

When the staff has no basic courtesy and respect towards their customers, the business is ought to go down one day. The salesman’s personal number has been put up as the shops number. Everytime I call to ask about the availability of a book, they speak in a very disrespectful way and tell me it is available and when I travel all the way there, wasting my money and time, I get to know the book isn’t available. Since this had happened with me quite a few times. I brought up the issue with them but they spoke in an extremely disrespectful way behaving as if I owed them something. The salesman told me that I should be grateful to him that he picked up my phone in the first place. I ignored this as well and went on to give a suggestion to the owner about how they should keep a landline for the convenience of their customers and ensure the availability of the books when they quote so. The salesman started yelling at me telling me I was a liar and that he had told me that the book wasn’t available on the call. The owner of the shop wasn’t saying a word to his salesman out of fear of the salesman running away because he was totally dependent on his salesman.

The book return rates are great here and in cash if you are buying your graduate level or other returnable books based on your education field and year provided a newer edition of book is not available the next year. You can also buy calculators and other essential stationery materials at lower price. The owner is straight forward and wont commit to any fake promises he thinks he might not fulfill.
