A hidden gem in Kalbadevi. The owner is very sweet and even offered some samples of the snacks to taste. Definitely get the Cheese straws and mawa cake. A but expensive but great quality.

The best batasa you can dunk in your chai & eat in Mumbai! Since I dont live in Mumbai, when I do visit, I make a point of going to Paris Bakery and buying enough batasas, khatai, macroons & wine cakes to last me a few months. Other times, I have someone purchase and parcel them to me. Yes, they are that good!The store is tucked away down a winding lane & difficult to locate if you are new to Mumbai or that area, and finding parking is even more difficult. But dont let that keep you away from this gem. When you do plan on going, go early, those yummy morsels sell out fast.

Paris Bakery is one of the most frequently visited places ever since we had been going there since childhood and even now till this day after having moved over 50 kilometres away from the location.. we still visit the place regularly every weekend to pick up our monthly fare of Butter Biscuits Khari biscuit cheese straws cheese sticks and a lot of other absolutely delicious baked items. Behram & Danesh the owners of the place have been doling out these simply superb sweet and savory confectionaries for decades now maintaining superlative consistent flavor through the years.

Not only do people come here from all parts of Mumbai but also from other cities in India and abroad. There is complete focus on hygiene and quality control and hence, many times, some products, made in limited batches may get over during the day. If you are planning on buying large quantities, it may be better to phone and check availability in advance. Most customers are loyal long time customers who visit on a regular basis. They are closed in the afternoon hours.
