I have tried Idli, sambar vada and upma. Must say the upma is really good. It is served with Sambar and Coconut chutney. Idli is nice but I have tried better idli than this. Sambar Vada is not oily. Overall it’s a good place for South Indian food specially if you’re looking option for breakfast

Balaji Idli house is famous for its variety of idlis in South Indian Style (from Kanchipuram to Udipi) and also Idlis with Chinese and Punjabi twist. You can also get other south Indian food like dosas nd medu wadas and uttappas in a large variety of preparations.

A huge variety of idlis and dosas is what is the speciality of this place.Ambience is decent and is A two storey outlets. Both Air conditioned. The staff is helpful and police and systematic. Rates are reasonable and has great variety for South Indian dishes. They serve punjabi dishes as well but I havent tasted it yet. The only reason I have not given it a 5 star is the service is a little slow. They take lot of time to serve the food once you have order.I suggest to give it a try. 🖐

Balaji idli house is one of the place where you can Hogg on South Indian food and get ride of some temporary cravings.Located on lbs road, Ghatkopar.Ambience is decent and has two sitting one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The waiters are very helpful and systematic.Reasonable place and warm place to get in for breakfast but they also serve lunch and dinner Thalis and bhaji roti and many more.

Awesome idli is serverd here.Price is little bit high but the taste and quality is maintained well.Multi varaties of South Indian dish is served.

My recent experience was horrible. tasteless food, poor service, mosquitoes inside the AC section. Person in charge was least bothered.As a customer if you are sympathetic then donate money, but dont bother spending money on their food.

Tried this place as no any other places were open on a fine Saturday noon and it turned out to be quite a good place if you want to eat something South Indian in a average ambience place, we had pav bhaji and masala idli, paav bhaji was good but i found Idli to be Ok Ok not great as it has to be in a South Indian hotel

Its a place to enjoy pure veg food, conveniently located on lbs marg. They serve many varieties of idli in the price range of 60 to 275, including idli sizzler, fusion idli n idli waffle. We tried mini idli with molagapodi which was disappointing as the idli wasnt soft. Only jain sambar is available, but it isnt very tasty. Filter coffee doesnt have the traditional aroma. The waiters appear clueless. Theres no wash basin on the ground floor. They serve corporate thali @120 from monday to friday n special thali @175 on weekends. Rating 2/5.

I had been a very frequent customer and used to have a fantastic experience until today. ENTIRE FOOD SERVED WAS STALE. On informing waiter came up with a lame reason that Dosa had more soda, however, he had to agree that chutney was so bad that the restaurant had to throw away entire stock of chutney.I went upto the cashier and just put it to his notice that food was stale; I was surprised that he was not at all ready to accept the mistake where his waiter himself agreed on food not being good.They have excellent variety of food, but they wont mind compromising on your health by serving stale food. I agree that in Mumbai food hygiene is a bit concern to some extent, however, stale food is something totally unacceptable.Beware guys! This branch is just not worth the visit, as its management has no concern at all about customers health!!

Superb food so many varities of idili and also dosa. its fresh and tasty. very nice ambience clean. I prefer to eat here after I visit Rcity mall as it is very close to the mall. instead of waiting for a seat in the mall and spending so much money. I eat in 1/3 of the amount in Balaji idili house plus its more tasty then any one from the food court.

Corporate Thali is very good and low in cost. I regularly enjoy the lunch time.

Tried the paneer kadhai and veg amritsari. Taste was decent and quantity was good for the price but could have done with less than half the amount of oil. So its probably worth telling the waiter when you place the order to have less oil in the food. Filter coffee was average.

Ordered today 2 plate idli wada....Chutney is very very salty and given as per 1 plate...Sambhar also salty and given as per 1 plate....Worst experience wont order next time
