This place was actually famous for its Sunday buffet, but post lockdown they have stopped their buffet and are serving a á la carte. If you are a fan of steamed dimsums then basil chicken dumpling is a must try .For chicken lovers please do try Drums of heaven.Have given 4 star because they stopped their buffet menu that was my go to place for Sunday

I wanted to order for a long time from them but it was getting delayed.Finally I ordered from them.The food was very good in quantity as well as quality.Packaging was also as expected.The menu has a lot of variety.Price u can find little expensive but you will get that taste.Teriyaki chicken - the taste is still fresh in my mind.It was well mixed, perfect flavours.Basil flavoured chicken dumpling - This was well stemmed, it remained hot for a long time, the filling was just so perfect, made my day.Main egg and chicken fried rice - I liked this dish but I think I myself should have gone for something more flavoury or spicy.Brownie- This was yummy and this remained hot for a longer time as well.I would recommend this place to all.

Food is top-notch with maintained authenticity to it. The place is located just opposite Infinity Mall and upon entering this lovely dining place you can notice the huge space. Its more of fine dining with a range of food options.They Al-a-carte as well as buffet style, so its a personal choice with whatever is okay.When it comes to Asian food, they have great sushi options, mouth-watering dumplings, and scrumptious Thai delicacies. Also, they have introduced a new menu which I did try out and it was definitely one heavenly meal.Good portions to be precise, a single portion can be easily had by 2 people.Started off with few portions ofPan Fried BBQ FishLemon Grass PrawnsCoriander Chicken This was the best.Even tried a range of dumplings and I have a thing for it anyways. Gotta recommend the Philadelphia Cheese Dumplings & Pan Fried Japanese Mushroom Dumplings. Nice and quick service most suitable for Chinese lovers and professional people or meetings.

1) Chilli Teriyaki chicken - This is my favourite dish from here and everytime I eat this, I know next also this dish will be surely ordered. Coated chicken pieces with sweet and tangy gravy, like my kind of gravy wala starter.2) General TSOs favourite chicken - this had thin sheet of chicken breasts with loads of crunchy vegetables like babycorns, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, cabbage, zucchini, with a semi spicy gravy, good quantity and good quality.3) chicken pan fried noodles with choice of sauce - this is plain fried noodles and are served with some chicken gravy in the side.Temperature of the delivery person was mentioned on the food delivery bag and of the person who prepared and packed my food, good hygiene maintained.

One of the best buffets in Mumbai at a very reasonable price. Great variety of food too. Dessert section provides many options. Im sure a-la-carte must be good too.

Good Ambience with Great Food.

This is a Chinese based restaurant where the prices go from a minimum of 250 to some thousands. If you are not specific for your food go for their buffet. For veg it costs around 800 INR and for Non vegetarian it costs around 1010 INR. The cleanliness is so good and you will be provided excellent service. The cost is somewhat high and if you are a foodie and want to taste something different then its a must visit place.

Went here to try their buffet. Were but fans of the Global fusion buffet so naturally that was the basis of comparison.Here, you have to pick if you want the veg or non-veg buffet. Although I believe the limitation is only on the starters, because the main course is all self service whereas the starters are served directly to your table. We paid for two non-veg buffets but we also tried some of the veg mains. We didnt ask for veg starters so I dont know if they would have been served or not.From the non-veg starters, the fish, chicken drum sticks, chicken dimsum and prawn were really good. There was another chicken starter thst had more of an Indian masala flavour to it than Chinese. The sushi selection was limited to just prawn tempura sushi but it was really nice.Mains were pretty average. The noodles were nice and then. The chicken in asparagus and something gravy was quite nice and different from your typical Chinese gravies. The crab curry was really nice. The lobster on in lemon sauce was tasty but I have my doubts about the authenticity of the lobster meat used. Some of thr veg mains were really good too like the stir fried veggies.They have a soft serve machine for dessert, unfortunately the ice cream was still being made in it and we didnt wanna wait. They have other ice cream though, and honey noodles. The pastries and caramel custard are okay, nothing to rave about.All in all, it was a good experience. The staff are great. Very friendly, very prompt with their service, very attentive even when it started getting crowded being a holiday.

Ordered food tonight. Home delivery is super quick but food was too spicy. Had to throw and kids had to order again from other restaurant. They charge high, its ok, but pl maintain quality too. Dont spoil the name built over years. I m a big fan but....Now. Doubtful that will recommend them. Sorry guys. Even when I called to complain, the attitude was like... OK. No apologies. Poor response.

Looks like the place is still suffering from Corona pandemic shocks. There was shortage of staff. service was somewhat slow. Food taste also has not come back to earlier levels. But I would still support them through this difficult time.

One is a complete fine dining and another one is general dining.What did you order?Drinks:I tried litchi mocktail. I really liked it as they infused mojito and had used fresh lychee.Food:1. Edamame Dumplings with truffle oilTruffle oil is being used in lot of dishes and off lately though being European, it is being used in other cuisines too. The Dumpling was decent.2. Vietnamese noodle clear soupIt doesnt have a taste but a great dish for clearing your palate3. Truffle flavoured zucchini springs rollsIf you like truffle oil, you will love this.4. Crispy lotus Stem with curry leave and blackI really liked this as it was crunchy and had a very long lasting flavour to it.5. Steamed Chinese greens and Tofu in a mild ginger sauceThis was the main course. I actually liked how authentic they had kept the dishes yet brought innovation6. Consistent good food makes you visit them them over and again. Andheri joint has limited parking facility and that helps. Ambience at this bit pricey joint is good and service satisfactory. This time too I could not get answer as to why Mainland China is insistent on serving only one particular expensive bottled water brand to their customers ignoring established and reasonably priced brands like Bisleri, Kinley, Aquafina and so many others.

Mainland China may as well change their name to Mainland Oshiwara after the abysmal experiences and nightmarish concoctions they are serving their poor customers in the name of speciality dining.Actually, they are right in a way - Their food is Especially Terrible. So I guess it is especiale dining, in a way.I went to the Andheri West outlet because it was my birthday and I wanted my loved ones to spend some $$$ on me, so I INSISTED that we eat the lunch buffet in Mainland China.It has been a few years since Ive been to this particular outlet, and man has this place aged badly.For starters, lets get to environment -- The fun begins at the entry gate itself, where the guards of the housing society where this restaurant is located, try and scam you for parking money. Mainland China has their own VALET parking in front of their restaurant, but they have not bothered to advertise this fact at the entry gate. So the housing society guards gherao you at the very gate itself, and offer to let you park your car in the society premises for a small fee of Rs. 200. I wasnt dumb enough to fall for that, but I did tell the manager that they need to protect their customers from this parking scam.- The furniture needs a desperate change of upholstery and a coat of varnish like a baby needs a change of diapers. The place is in a mess. The wooden furniture is badly scratched, stained and rickety and the plaster and paint is peeling off the walls. The restaurant interior looks like a dump. Or rather, it looks like someone took a giant dump inside the restaurant and neglected to flush it down the toilet after they were finished (PICS ATTACHED)- Id gone for a lunch buffet on a weekday. The place was packed with people, which made me wonder that peeps in Mumbai truly have more money than brains. Granted, I was also part of that demographic when I was there, but atleast I dont commit the same mistake twice, which makes me a bit less dumb. Between the flocks of kitty partying aunties and packs of middle aged execs with a gordon gekko complex, there was enough noise in the restaurant to rival that of an airport runway...and Im talking the International Airport here.Now lets get to the slop they serve in the name of chanese food -- The street chowmin wallah is better value for money. Not because his food is any better than Mainland Chinas, but simply because it atleast costs lesser. This should tell you all that you need to know, but if you wish to waste more of your time, you can read more below.- I had gone for the buffet, and what generally happens is that there is a wide selection of dishes that customers can pick and choose their food from. Well, in the case of this restaurant, all we had to select from was a vast selection of empty dishes. Especially the vegetarian ones. After waiting almost 15 minutes for the staff to refill the empty vessels, I had to go and request the manager to bring more food, following which they finally brought a few dishes to replenish the empty ones. (PICS ATTACHED)- When restaurants do well, they usually up their game and see how they can make their dishes tastier and more unique, but Mainland China has a more innovative, and far lazier approach to this - They just start deep frying and coating everything with the same damn ingredients, giving every dish a flavour which can only be described as Generic chinese flavoured food, as interpreted by lazy desi chefs. If you ate one item off the menu here, you will have tasted every single one of them, believe me.- And finally, Ill get to the Fresh Lime Soda - They need to call it Mostly Flat Soda With A Few Drops of Lemon and a LOT of Sugar. I had only one sip, and I would have spat that back into the glass, if I had thought of spitting it out, before I swallowed it. (PICS ATTACHED)The only saving grace about the entire experience was that the staff is polite and courteous. Ill give them an 7/10. Deducting 3 points for their old, frayed uniforms, which went superbly with the old, frayed decor.

The litchi basil mocktail is must try out here. Momos were okay .. I dont find bamboo box cooked momo as appetizing as i find aluminium cooker cooked momos. The fried wontons were good. The fable sauce is to die for. The dimsum gravy and garlic rice were delicious. The veg crispy was crispy and tasty.What i dint like the singaporean noodles which were supposed to be spicy werent great at all. They were bland . the chilli potato fries were as usual normal. Nothing great about it. They need more vegetarian options in thier menu

So when I was craving crabmeat soup I didnt bat an eyelid to order it.My orderSweetcorn soup crabmeat - The beautiful flavors of crabmeat was so distinct and robust. The quantity was good for two people.Tsing Hoi Chicken - A sweet , spicy and delectable gravy. The added crunch of cashew was extremely enjoyable.Fried Rice chicken and egg - It was an authentic fried rice with subtle flavors and lots of egg and chicken in every morsel.Chocolate Wonton- Not the best I have eaten as they got tab bit chewy on delivery. But it was a nice way to end this awesome Chinese meal.A special mention to the spill proof packaging and mention of chefs temperature on the delivery bag.

Have been a mainland China fan since the first time I visited back in 2004 at their Andheri East sakinaka one..and it was love at first bite...I have my few personal favs from prawn in pepper garlic to general taos chicken..and we still frequent this place every opportunity we get..

Food is less oilly and tasty

Date of visit 16th nov(monday) time 1.30 pm.Wife son and i opted for the buffet 700 per head all inclusive.Pros: the food tastes just as before which is quite good.Masks gloves sanitizers all in place. They were maintaining hygiene norms.They did not charge for my 7 yr old son as per what we had been informed over the phone.Cons: we opted for the buffet ( served on the table due to covid)which implies that the veg starters were included but we were not served the same,only non veg starters.huge gap between the courses at least 25 to 30 minutes between the starters and the main course.Very slow service .40 minutes for the first morsel of food to arriveWe had to urge them to keep repeating the starters till the main course came.Each time a portion was served it was only enough for one person.when we have opted for a set meal for two at least double portions should have been served upfront.This continued right upto the deserts when we were served one cup of ice cream and had to ask for another.They are probably cutting costs and keeping the ambiguity between an unlimited set meal and a buffet. Tough times are for everyone, i guess.

I have ordered several times from Mainland China and have never been disappointed. However this evening I ordered for veg hot and sour soup, chilly garlic noodles and ginger capsicum fried rice. The soup was full of soya, rice was bland and tasteless. I ordered through SWIGGy. Not worth the money I paid
