Cafe Noorani is one of the old style hotels surving Mughalai dishes along with other cuisines. This is a perfect place besides Haji Ali Dargah. And you will see SOBO crowd to have a good conversation. And Hotel Staff will understand your order and accordingly serve you what you prefer the best. And trust me you will cherish that.
They will serve you calling it a BIRIYANI, but god knows what sort of biriyani it is. Dissapointed.
Great food.. courteous staff.. must visit this place for some great Indian dishes..
Reshmi Tikka biryani, butter chicken are the best rest all dishes are average.
Very nice place to have authentic NON VEG food ... And yes the Deserts are awesome as well ...,👍🏼
Good old maintained taste of mughlai cuisine & others. visit once if you visit Hajiali -Mumbai
We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala. In this dish we found hair. And they charged us for carmel which we didnt ordered. Pathetic service.
Excellent food as always, must try chicken shanghai and chicken tikka biryani
I came to Cafe Noorani for lunch after visiting the nearby Haji Ali Mosque. The restaurant has a large menu of Indian dishes, although they do have Indian style Chinese dishes as well. Inside, it looks like a pretty standard Indian restaurant, nothing amazing looking, but the prices are definitely in the mid range for India. The waiter who came to get my order spoke no English and did understand what I wanted even after I pointed to it on the menu. Eventually he had to get one of his colleagues to help him out. I asked for a Aloo mutter, rice and a sweet lassi. The 2nd waiter had the presence to ask if I wanted the meal spicy or not, so kudos for that. I thought the aloo mutter was too heavy on the cream, but otherwise tasted okay, slightly sweet and tangy. I never got the lassi and I find that it seems to be common practice in Indian restaurants to rely on memory.Overall, I thought the meal was nothing special and over-priced.
We went to this place with big expectations and a well built appetite. Sitting across the Haji Ali Circle Cafe Noorani had long been on my list to visit like Haji Ali.Waiting time was just impossible. Along with another family and us we waited nearly for an hour. Afternoon temperature was driving everyone’s patience thin. When we finally managed to get seats we asked for what they would recommend.Ordered:Murg Nizami Kabab (bad recommendation by the staff)Chicken Tikka BiryaniThe kababs were not great at all and Biryani was only likeable. The chutney with Kababs was also blant and tasted more water than anything. To sum up,the experience was poor, staff behaviour worse and food can definitely be better.Biryani won’t rescue you forever !!
Well I must say the food was not bad it was okay in all respect. Considering the price one has to shell out for every thing in this cafe one expect bit more flavour as well as cleanliness.Water served in glasses which are not washed properly (although one should never drink any water like this from any place) and there were mice or I should say RATs roaming under your table and counter .I found the staff to be polite and prompt with good serviceBut over all for that much money and 30 years in business I was disappointed
Ordered something and coming order something else no proper food no proper packaging food was not cooked i will not go noorani cafe again very bad
Good food quality .. ambiance is not good..
Typical old fashioned Mumbai restaurant, but with delicious food.
One of the iconic places. Still have the same taste. Reasonably priced.

Now not ilke before think staff has been changed
Good tasty food but very expensive. Also service is not upto the mark. Only good thing is less crowded on Saturday night/evening.
This is near Haji Ali , we 9 people went and had a nice lunch , ordered chicken angara, roasted chicken and breads with 5 chicken Biryani with a bill of 3000 in total . .Food was nicely made and had authentic taste and odour .Service was a bit late and seating is limited with limited space , but over all I would give them 5 stars for service , food and pricing.
One of the oldest restaurant in the city near haji ali dargah opp Heera Panna Shopping Center
One of the worst chicken fried rice eaten in the lockdown time.. dont know where has the taste of good food gone
Bang opp to hajiali Dargha and heerapanna mall.good place for Non Vegetarian
One of the iconic restaurants in Mumbai, the food taste and quality has stood the test of times...IMHO. Great food and lots of great memories with family and friends here :)
Its been so many years and one would still wouldnt mind coming here. Personally I love the caramel custard and tandoor items here. Many of them love the biryani here but I find them so so.But nothing to complain about no matter what you order.
Cafe Noorani the poor mans mughlai cafe of the 90s ...Roadside eatery that just creates a mess with the traffic. No parking available. Used to be very good quality vs quantity and value for money. BUT as ALL bombay joints that became famous become very commercial minded and COMPROMISE on their quality. ..so the same case here ... dropped this joint years ago not worth anymore ...
Must haves: mutton seekh kebab and chicken tikka biryani
Good hotel for non vegetarian in that area, but taste has changed over time, anyways tandoori chicken is my fav there
Taste was not good of Bheja Fry, Veg Biryani & Paneer Tikka Masala.
Wonderful Hotel.. taste good.. price reasonable.. only car parking issues..
Food was nice and hotService is good also
This place is just opp. to haji ali durgaIt serves one of the best mughlai food in town. I love a lot of things here, but my favourite is brain egg roti, chicken tikka masala, brain masala etc.Their caramel custard is to die for and one of the best in Mumbai. This is a must try when you are here.Their menu is extensive with many options of chicken, mutton, brain, egg and vegetarian.
Biryani is over rated and the quantity is not good enough
I have been patronising Cafe Noorani since22 years for its delicious Chicken Biryani. You will just love it and ask for more.If you have not tried it ..... do go for it ..... and your tummy will maange more !
Good place to have food 🥰
Good place..great food...try their specialities only... They are good at biryani and other non-vegetarian food. Value for money
Starters are gr8 but dont try biryani its nt the worth
Seating arrangement was comfortable, AC was good, Service was Good, Washroom was available.I only ate veg so cant speak for non-veg dish, the food served was tasty too.
Food quality and taste should improve.. its unsatisfactory food. N too many alcoholic customers
It was okay the food here in 80s was basic but very good n easy on wallet I remember we four friends had lunch here n their Dahl was to die for
Amazing food. Ordered Mutton moghlai and mutton tikka biryani and it was awesome 😍
Its awesome ...Bt its not clearly view from far ... although its a nice restaurant...😍
Food excellent. But they need to maintain ambience. Even the sitting are is uncomfortable
Being a familiar restaurant thought to give it a try again, turned out to b bad decision though. I have had butter chicken and tandoori over here which was pretty good. This time the waiter suggested to try noorani special which was not at all special, huge chunks of chicken mixed into bland green gravy (what on earth was i eating). so this is a big restaurant easily reachable with the help of gps, light on pocket, spacious seating area.
What a beautiful resturantAmbience is old 90s but the food quality is still like the best in class the butter kulcha is actually the best in mumbai the hot and sour soup and what a wonderful staff not much pricey for such a good food..must visit if you a foodie
Chicken biryani was ok ok in taste. Not that good!
The food was good and even the service.
Its great resturant with a perfect ambience. We ordered Mix Platter it was awesome, food choice in platter was perfectly balance.
