One of the best Irani Joints in Matunga. Bun Maska, Eggs to order, Kheema are to die for with a cup of Irani Chai. Highly recommended.

A quiet place to enjoy the Irani dishes and veg dishes. Its near by Marunga station of central railway. I enjoyed the ice cream soda which is rarely available.

This place is simply over hyped. I been there yesterday only after checking out its reviews on Zomato... I would like to mention that Taste of food is simply average like any other local restaurant...and their staff is least bothered about their customers.... They simply dont care and for each and everything u have to call them...even for a glass of water... Secondly.... Its not at all pocket friendly...they are charging almost 30% to 40% more as compared to any other local cafe or restaurant for the same quantity and quantity of food... N taste wise also its not that wow or great..... I wont recommend it all to anyone

Very best morning brake fast specially mutton khima fry. Very tasty & delicious. Best place to have brakefast. The location is near Welingkar college. Its olso known as snow point. Best nonveg breakfast in matunga. Service is little bit slow over all its good. Food is awesome.😋👍

Gave it an additional star because it brings back college memories. Food is still average though. Placed at a convenient location from nearby colleges and Matunga station, this place is still visited by the regulars. Not at all a place worth good food. The quantity is quite a lot. Gives you the old school vibes that old restaurants have.

An Irani restaurant which hasn’t changed thank god it’s flavour and ambience giving me the nostalgia is Cafe Gulshan. Little did I know that I’d find a old friend today there. The mutton kheema biryani with ice cream soda is a combo from past. The quantity is sufficient for two even if you take half Biryani. Even butter chicken Biryani is awesome. Top it up with caramel custard the old school way and you have a winner. All in all good value for time money and energy. I vouch for this place.

An amazing place for classic food lovers. This cafe is famous among college goers around Matunga area. We had ordered Mutton kheema, Crispy chicken and scrambled egg in daal. Our bill was more than Rs. 750 so we got a waffle of our choice for free. Mutton kheema was great. Crispy chicken wasnt that crispy but still good. The scrambled egg in daal didnt have enough salt but you can always add more. The only problem was that, the orders were taking longer than usual.

Not as good as it used to be still if you are in search for a decent non-veg restaurant in Matunga east, Cafe Gulshan will be your go to place

The cafe is conveniently located near some famous colleges like ruia, podar and welingkars, its also at a walkable distance from matunga railway station. Didnt experiment with the order, just had a manchow soup and kheema pav. Taste wise soup was okay, not the authentic chinese taste but the kheema was bang on. The Pav was fresh, soft and was perfect to scoop the deliciously cooked kheema. Must go for a quick bite as the service is pretty good.

Must try hundi biryani.....dal kichadi is good also .....worst Chinese food never ever try it.....but omelet was good and coffee is best and service is bit slow need to improve and the staff is not so jolly

Being a vegetarian, options here are pretty okayish. I generally go here for the bun maska which is filled with a lot of maska aka butter, chai is not too good. Ambiance is vintage, I personally like the old furniture set up so I find it cool.

This restaurant serve Chinese cuisine, but it is famous for kheema pav. Chinese taste was normal. They dont accept card payment only cash which is disappointed me. In todays digital world everyone prefer card payments. No parking space.

Cafe Gulshan is an Irani style restaurant serving almost everything from egg burji, biryani, mutton and Chinese food.They recently changed the layout and opened a convenient store taking some space of the restaurant, that made it really sqeezy and congested.What I like is there plain egg fried rice.

Mutton kheema is raw, eat only if you like mutton that way. Chinese items are good, good offers available.The so famous caramel custard is okaishh. Not recommend.

Very popular place!Also known as Points Absolute favourite of Ruia, Poddar, Welingkar students! The quality & the quantity of the food is on point! We ordered chicken hunan sauce combo it was very good but the worst part is the waiting time damn they take 20-30 mins for your order to arrive at your table!
