Spent a weekend with my wife. Was amazed with the room service polite and helpful staff.A very good buffet breakfast spread for the price. A la carte option is also available and was really nice. Very spacious clean room and bathroom. Will definitely recommend anyone planning a stay at Colaba to blindly go for it.

Hotel suba palace ambience was excellent. The reception staff, room services everything was nice. I traveled as a single woman and I felt very safe stay. I would recommend for the single female travelers.

Absolutely outstanding hotel perfectly located. Helpful, friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. It is my long stay due to business and during our stay, which we had not mentioned, but they obviously saw us and arranged complementary at each weekend. It was a lovely suprise when they left different type of food in the room! Also an excellent breakfast buffet. We will definetely come back with friends and I would highly recommend this hotel.Hotel Service is on the top with the staff from housekeeping to the management level...in this current covid situation they are maintaining precautions at each level including cleaning the room to the hygienic food.

My overall experience was good. Its located on nice location walking distance from Regal cinema as well as Gate of india. Rooms are spacious and Hygiene maintenence also cool. Food was also good but I would like to suggest them not to use Dalda in biryani to enhance its taste as same is not good for health.Overall Ill say one must give a try if looking for a budget friendly hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spotless and breakfast good. We booked spa through the hotel and was supposed to get 20 % discount. They forgot to give us the voucher that was needed so we had to pay full price but when we came back they immediately corrected it and gave us the money back for the discount. I must say that the service was perfect! The location perfect, close to gateway of India

Stayed there for three nights with my family. The hotel location is near all the tourist attraction. There are lots of happening places nearby the hotel. So you wont be bored at night. Rooms are clean and stuffs were very helpful. Restaurant is pretty good as well. Totally value for money. Love from Bangladesh. Thanks guys for making my stay comfortable.

Small but a good hotel. Extremely courteous and well mannered staff! Everyone in the hotel is so helpful and always smiling! Rooms are nice and of decent size. Well equipped with TV, fridge, kettle, jug, fan and AC. Breakfast is good, free WiFi. Located within 200 metres of Gateway of India. It is surrounded by good eating places such as the Table, Leopolds cafe, Mondecar, bar stock exchange, Gokul, Bade mian, and many more. Place is buzzing with activity all around.

If you want to book suba palace you are not making a mistake their sevice is amazing you truly get your monies worth.Each and every staff member including management was respectful and efficient in every way. Nice hotel nearby tourist spots. Expensive hotel n u can find nearby hotel cheaper with same standards. Sun city hotel n others. Hotel WiFi is bad. Keeps dropping. Room le are spacious but old bed. I had to sleep with squeaky sound every time u turn. No peaceful sleep. Breakfast is nice but typical Indian breakfast. 10% continental only. We got connecting room as that was nice. I consider this as same as shop lot hotels. Room service Food is nice. Hotel is pricey for the standard. Great staffs.

Staff was very supportive, overall good experience

There is couple of positive points about this hotel first one is the location, it is located very close to Gateway of India and marine drive. Second one staff was good and polite, they try to help you as much as possible. Now negative points property is apparently very old , needs maintenance, cost of the room is very high, AC was not properly working, TV, intercom every thing had issues, breakfast was okay, could have been better, restaurant is very small and finding a table is difficult in morning. Stayed there only for one night so I kind of managed but would definitely not like to go to this hotel next time. In the same cost one can get much better hotel.

The Hotel is situated at most happening place of Mumbai. Hardly 500 mtrs away from Gateway of India and Hotel Taj Palace.Overall good services but in breakfast the variety is not much and from outside it looks like a paltry hotel. Hotel is very much close to gateway of India in Mumbai which is ideal tourist destination. It is well maintained with elegant interior and small restaurant which serves indian veg and non veg cuisins. Staff is very helpful and curteous. It is very close to Colaba market and surrounding areas are thickly poppulated so car parking is bit difficult for the guests who comes to hotel. Overall good hotel with affordable rates.

It’s very good hotel, staff very supportive and personable. More or less Arabic style hotels. Rooms having internally connected doors. If you have big family, you can book two rooms and they will be interconnected. Breakfast is good as well.

Unhospitable reception staff. Noticed them to be kind and sweet with guests of certain nationalities only. Although all amenities in the room were great and the location itself is very convenient, a hotel is afterall determined by the way the staff treats you. A shame as so much more is expected from the reception. Nobody gets anywhere with discrimination.

Rooms are good. However the staff really need to learn to mind their own business. The are too inquisitive. Everytime in the lift the lift attendant will keep asking you every time if you are checking out or where are you going and all...

Needed at Decent to put my family near Gateway of India (as I had to visit belapur). Choose this hotel due to its vicinity of Gateway of India. Hotel Staff are very very helpfull. We left some of our stuff (including one mobile) at checkout. They made sure that we can re-collect our stauff.

I give this hotel two stars despite the good food and clean, well-equipped rooms because of the very unfriendly and unhospitable behaviour of the reception staff here. Just seeing the stark difference in the way they talk to their white guests as opposed to the non-white guests is sad! Also, them not letting even a family member of a guest enter their room because of their security and moral policy (and the way they choose to enforce this) really makes you feel either like a thief or a hooker.Unfortunate experience.

I was ill when I reached the the hotel, they took great care of me, provided me with good food, got a doctor on call and took timely updates of my health. Thanks alot! What else do u need when u r alone n somebody is taking care of u.

The room was quite small with little space for large luggage. The place is very noisy throughout the night. The hotel staff are very good from security to cleaners to receptionist. Good central location for walking around the centre of Mumbai. Thank you for making our stay just like home.

Location, service, breakfast were all good. They dont charge for extra water bottles as many hotels do in the industry. It is at walking distance from gateway of India... 5 min walk. The cost was 6600 per night for a double occupancy room.
