I would give them zero stars if that was an option! Terrible, terrible customer service. They refuse to listen to complaints and give standardised replies to emails. Please go to another provider for the IELTS exam.

The perfect place to give your IELTS test. Staff was very helpful and polite.Pro tip: Go through the whole resources on their website, I went through it more than once. I have got 7.5 in listening & reading while I got 6.0 and 6.5 in writing and speaking.Best of luck to whoever’s giving the exam in 2021.

I had appeared for my IELTS paper-based test on 13th March, 2021 at Asian Banquets Filix Towers, Bhandup (W), Mumbai. The venue was occupied with excellent facilities along with ample parking space. Cleanliness, Hygiene and COVID-19 guidelines were properly followed. Toilets were clean. The entire team of staff was helpful and co-operative including the security personnel at the entrance. Test room was spacious, desks and chairs were comfortable, headphones were clear enough and no disturbance during the entire test.A very pleasurable experience overall

Their collection is laughable. I took membership after I got admitted into an MA in English Literature because I figured - hey which library in the city could have a better collection of British/English literature than the British Council Library, right? NO! They have TWO titles of Shakespeare, nothing for the majority of classical writers, almost none of the classics and certainly nothing of note in other fiction books either. They had maybe 10% of what I needed. I eventually took a membership at my local library which surprisingly had a much better collection.

Gave the wrong location as my centre for ielts and now arent giving me a refund. Totally unacceptable. Will recommend everyone to go for other IELTS centres. British council I need my refund.

Called more than 20 times, no responses. Contacted the customer care through chat also no response. Very worst.

Quiet and peaceful atmosphere.One of the best places for courses regarding IELTS.Though physical library is gone.You can subscribe for online one at Rs.1400/year.Security of this place is quiet high.And very nice staff and helpful.Its basically a deluxe place where there are courses offered for higher studies for going abroad.

The quality of the library online services for members is poor!Books that you request for are in circulation for over a year. Consequently, you do not get to read what you want to. Moreover, the pick up of books never happens on the requested date even after reminders and feedback. Lately, calls have to be made to a central office in Delhi (a call centre?) so there is very little chance of your problem being resolved. I have had problems with the pick ups on three occasions in succession, and in spite of complaints, no one has cared to resolve the problem- it still persists as of now!The library services have deteriorated and this is extremely disappointing. This is very unlike the British Council Library I once knew and loved! A real pity and great shame!

They did not send any books for ielts inspite of booking the test one month in advance . No transparency in ielts exam .Complete waste of time .

I had taken online membership. Before I go ahead, I would like to tell that I was a BCL Mumbai member for 5 years when BCL was a physical library at Nariman Point. Following were the issues I faced:1. The book would neither be collected on time nor be delivered. The Courier Service was horrendous.2. I took a membership in January 2017. Several months went in complaints as the books were delayed by 20 days most of the time.3. Suddenly the online library was shut from August onwards.4. Now the Refund process is difficult.All those member of Nariman Point BCL, please understand that BCL has changed drastically. No new books and the management worst. I cherish my old days of BCL but today that is HISTORY

Biggest mistake of my life dat i gave ielts from british council....Its been one month still my results are not declared due to bloody der internal issues...I also cudnt go in september intake because of their carelessness....And my career got spoilt because of them

The library has gone online and it has an okay collection. Please I earnestly request people to not waste their time going to Lower Parel, instead Google mylibrary and you can sign up to the library and get books delivered at your doorstep.

All,I had signed up with the service thinking this to be premium company. But im appalled at its state of conducting operations.I have called numerous times and mailed a couple of times more but received no respite. Your company continued with horrible and nasty courier service guys to Ravinas abject way of dealing with the matter. Unfortunately i havent received any help from the feedback system and hence i have no option but to resort to external arbitration and judiciary.I have listed down the problems below:1. I had marked for pickup on 6th august and no one came to take the books. I called up and was given the answer that I will have the books picked up next day.No one came and I called and asked Ravina. she said we will pick up tomorrow which never happened. she also said Devina this is the first time ok so you dont have to worry.2. No one obviously came. But i received a mail from my library saying the books have been picked up and they werent, mind you. I called up, Ravina picked up the phone and said this is an offiial mail. But what kind of official mail when the books are still with me?3. And i called again and then was told that i need to change the date of pickup which was finally done on 19th august after all the available books in my queue went blue again. Not only did i lose my time but also the books that i wanted to read. Thanks to Ravina who said see Devina what i can do for you is maximum increase your membership. which isnt reflecting in my account.4. It did not end there. I requested a pickup on 31st august. I could not keep the books with the guard. I agree my mistake. The courier guy (Narendra from City speed) gave me a call and shouted and abused me as to why did i call him when there were no books. Yet appalled, I called up Ravina and told her that the behavior is intolerable but she paid no heed and told me to keep the books ready for next day.5. I kept the books ready for 2nd September in the sack given by you and kept the books with the guard. Along with that I had kept two more books,(NOT IN THE SACK), which were taken by your courier guy.I received a call from my libraray by a girl named Poornima, she said mama you do not need to worry i will get the books back.since then I have been following up for those books. Neither Ravina is responding nor Vasudev and Narendra the courier guys. I need my books please help me.. Please dont torture me.. Otherwise ill have to file case of mental harassment against you.I wat to cancel my subscription and need the money back.

When majority of students in India are going for Btech in computer science and India is considered as the IT hub of the world, they decided not to keep the computer books with them? THEY DONT HAVE ANY COMPUTER BOOKS. there is a difference in building a library and a place where u can sit to read. Instead u guys can take the membership of American library .they also dont have the latest Computer books but atleast they are cheaper and have wifi too.american library 400rs per year (with free wifi)british library 1600 rs per year (no wifi )

Its just a place for enquiry in case you wanted to subscribe to their digital library. No place to read or anything.
